So yes, i'm on the dance team at my high school, and i'm now a 3rd year member, also a junior at my school.

i don't know if my high school has a dance team but I'm in forgin language club and we are supposed to learn latino dances ( one of the only reasons I joined)

I was on dance team last year( freshman year) and I loved it! We were just one big family. It was so much fun. Unfortunately our coach had to resign and we don't have dance team anymore. I cheer now but I miss it so much

i am not on the dance team or never was because there is no guys. But i am in a dance club XD.
Oh Latino Dances i know like two because i go to clubs alot XP.

Yup, I am! My dance studio just closed ( crying ) and so I tried out.
I made it! Although I'm a rookie, it's a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to competing!
We do jazz/funk and high kick (which is sooo hard!) biggrin
Of course, that means I'm not at a studio anymore... xd

I'm on my school's drill team. It is Sooo much fun. We do Pom, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Military, and we are just now experimenting with Modern.
Football season is probably the best. We get to perform for half time before the band....we even danced in the rain once or twice...definitely an experience I won't forget.

I am... but there's only 6 of us girls... and it's usually 3 on 3 -as in, the 3 underclassmen think that they're all that and the other two and myself have to put up with it. Two of the underclassmen (and myself) have been in studio dance and so they both thought that they were amazing (they also didn't ever realize that I also take dance at a different studio) so when I choreographed the last dance, they got mad... apparently one of the studio girls had been trying to claim ALL OF OUR DANCES!
We usually choreo as a group. Sometimes (like this time) someone makes up a dance by themself or a smaller group does, but usually a group effort.
For our homecoming dance this past year, one of last year's graduates choreographed the first minute, then the two upperclassmen and I made up the rest. This other girl told her mother that she had made up the WHOLE DANCE. Her mother quickly spread the information.
Sorry for the long story, but it's been bugging me for a while. I wish we could expand and do loads of different routines, but with the squad's attitude problems I don't know if we'll get anywhere. We haven't so far. (usually we've danced 7 or 8 times by now... we've only done two this year and there's no more opportunites to do any more.)

no...but I'm in advanced dance at my school. We've got beginning, intermediate, advanced, and then the company. Freshman aren't allowed to be in the company though.

the dance team at my school sucks. No technique AT ALL, just a bunch of girls who need athletic/creative hours standing on the side of the football field shaking their butts to uncreative choreography. Not my type of dancing at all. I'll stick to studio modern/jazz/ballet.

I'm on my school's dance team.
We have about 20 or so girls on it.
We go to competitions every year.
We've been national champions almost every year.
We're a mostly lyrical and jazz team.
But we can do some hip-hop, pom, modern and prop !

well i haven't been on in forever, i'm just bored and decided to check my old account
