Alright... we had some funds and based on a few requests, I've made a games forum! This is the place where you can post and contests, dice games, word games... anything that supposed to be fun while you chat! To start things off I think I might have a tek tek contest and the winner will get a sealed envelope for September!

Lol - I always head for my bookshelves before anything else. If it is too much of a pain for one reason or another, you can look up titles on Amazon.com or half.com or something of the sort. You can Google for book clubs and find some pretty amazing titles - it might even intrigue you enough to get a small library going of your own! I've found, personally, that books expand the mind better than other mediums. Though I love movies, I will always take a good book over going out on Friday to catch a new release. There's something for everyone. I think it's a wonderful idea, but I don't want to start a new thread to play a game that surrounds books if there aren't going to be many people involved. In fact, I would prefer not to have to be the one to start a new thread for it. stare I really can never tell when I'm going to have to spend a few weeks, or months for that matter, without being able to get on-line for more than five minutes and I don't want it to seem as though I just don't care anymore to the people whom would participate in such a thread, were I to start it and become suddenly unavailable. Hey - we could start a quote-type thread. Say it would work something like this: the person who opens the thread (likely me, if enough people show interest in it) displays three quotes. Famous quotes or quotes that are not so famous that were made by famous people. Then, other users have to identify the person who made the statement(s) and give three interesting or relatively unknown facts about them. xd What do you think about that one? I am positive, that no matter what is going on in my life, that I would be able to get on-line for at least five minutes at least a few times a week. This would be practical for me, considering. If I was unable to be on-line longer, I could still get on long enough to produce a few quotes and maybe even pin down some hints for them. I would be able to check responses at random times as well (such as nap time biggrin ). It would be great! (I think :p) Then... hmm. We could do something like... uhmm... yeah. I dunno. Perhaps say ten persons at a time could respond to any given quote post and then we start over with whomever gave the most... interesting information about the last one. Something like that, maybe? Or it could be like a rolling contest. Or something. neutral (<>) It could be a contest-like thread. We could have an easier version and a harder version, say. The harder one would ask for, links to information about the person or something like that. Or would ask for a dissertation on the person involved and then people could post them on the last day. Kind of like a contest, anyhow. I'd be willing to fork some money over to Arty to be the judge of the contest, or do it myself. Something like that. (<>) It just seems like a way to get people interested in history, perhaps. Broaden their horizons and they might get something out of it for Gaia as well. What do you two think? (The more I think about it, the more silly it sounds, so I am going to stop now and wait for a response. biggrin )

eek *Is almost speechless* o.0 wow i think book thread is a good idea but idk lately it's just been you, me and a few other's that drag themselves here you can do as you please I'm might to get out my collection of books again i put somewhere in the attic cause of us moving the rooms around sweatdrop
