Okay, anyone have ideas for what all we can put together for Halloween?
I have a few scribbled down, but I wanted to see if you guys had any brainstorms offhand. ^^

That's a great idea!
Alright, well, here's a few of the ideas I had written down - I'll be posting them in the main updates forum, too, to see what the other members think:
1. Thread to post favorite Halloween pics/vids/music/etc.
2. Halloween avi contests - multiple themes: scarriest, most original, etc.
3. Halloween party.*
*This could be really fun - we could meet up at one of the squares or theme one of our houses for Halloween, and have contests or whatever there. I've never done a party, though, so we'll have to see if anyone else can pitch in. What do you think?

Okay, the Hallo forum games will be set up soon, but here's a few ideas for the party:
1. I think it should be held on two seperate days - probably a Sat. and Sun.? - and how about one day we do a square party, and one day we do a house party? That way anyone who didn't want to go to the one (or couldn't) can go to the other.
2. Do you think we should send PM invites out to the members - that way members who haven't been active in a while and ones who haven't been active period will know and maybe they'll check out the new guild changes and such?
Nothing miraculous, of course, but still...must get details worked out.

the pm thing's a good idea, and we could also send out a monthly news letter to everyone [I was thinking about that earlier on but I kept forgetting to say >.<] Will we be having the party at your house? I was gonna buy that bloody hand wallpaper thingy for it.

I've been trying to work out vaguely how much we'd need - whatever MC I sell for the month will be going towards it and I'll start doing puzzles double-time to make sure we have enough. So yeah, you pick out the wallpaper, I'll find a floor tile, and we can work on furniture together, 'kay? Newsletter...I've heard of those, but I only know a bit about them... They're like monthly updaters on what games/polls/etc. are going on in the guild, right?

Well, we have a Hallo drawing thread - perhaps we could change it into a contest thread the weekend of the party, though.
Okay, my main concerns about the party are:
1. What we actually do at the party.
2. Time zone differences.
Number two is bugging me most, being people keep giving me Gaian common times, and I'm not 100% on how we can see a generalization of actual time zones. Now, in the invitations, I can include something like: 'Party will run from 2-4PM Pacific time', for example, which might simplify that issue - what do you think?
As to number one, maybe we could hold the 'Most Original Hallo Avi Contest' at the house portion of the party, and then the 'Creepiest Hallo Avi Contest' at the block party, one type of art contest at one and one at the other, stuff like that?
