Wearing her large amount of toy jewelry, most she made herself one would think she was a raven instead of a chikorita; Tyra had taken up to dressing up regally because she wanted to be a duchess. Not a princess since Fenrir had that part covered and she wanted to be able to still play with royalty.
But no sooner had she started off with her mother towards the grocery store, she took off the uncomfortable shoes, ripped a hole in the hem of the dress and was now only wearing shorts and a shirt cause that same dress had made it too warm. Instead she wore still all her fancy jewels. Well she thought they were pretty fancy anyway.
Skipping ahead Jayoku now carrying her daughters garments and shoes...she was a bit hesitant to let the girl run around with no shoes..but once at the store she would see about getting her some flip flops.

“Mom, why are we going to the gross store?” Alexis murmured, making her way down the pavement as she held her mother’s hand tightly, trying not to get herself lost amongst all the people. And all the stores around her were beginning to intimidate her, even though she would never say they were.
“We’re going to the grocery store, not the gross store.” Sara smiled, leading her into the large supermarket. “It’s where you get food, see?” She said and a motion to all the different vegetables.
Alexis had never quite seen so much food at one point, especially not vegetables. “Do you humans only eat vegetables?” She asked, trying to look for something that wasn’t green or sprouting leaves from it somewhere.
“No, we eat other types foods, they’re just in the other aisles.” She said and pointed to the sections on the other side of the store. She clutched her hand once more, beginning to lead her through the vegetable section, picking out a few things so she could make a nice hearty soup when they got home.

As the sliding doors to the mart opened and closed to let people in and out, Tyra found it great fun to hop back and forth in and out of the store. Like it was a game to see just how long she could wait before the door tries to shut on her.
"Tyra! Come now, your getting in peoples way." Jayoku scolded, the little plant child perking as she then dashed towards her mother, her beads hingling as she went.
"What are we getting mom?" She asked looking at all the isles and the huge amounts of boxed, canned and other foods. SO MUCH. She was a bit astounded by just how much food there was.
"We are getting vegetables, you dont' like much else." Her mother said with a sigh. Jayoku herself was mostly a carnivore, she loved eating a fresh steak rather than an orange or apple.
Tyra on the other hand couldn't stand meat. Most likely because she was a plant type it would be a tad un-natural for her to eat meat.
Tyra squeed as she spotted one of her favorite veggies, spinach. Laying in a bushel she skipped over to it, all one could see from the other side of the lower isle would be a big leaf wiggling by. Like one of the spinach leaves had quadrupled in size and then became alive.

Sara made her way through the aisles, letting Alexis explore as she picked out some vegetables. She took a few tomatoes and placed them in a plastic bag, and then did same with a stalks of corn. Ah, and some carrots! She remembered seeing Alexis nimble on some when she had bought a few before. She picked out a few more vegetables, knowing that kids needed to get their healthy supply of vegetables to grow.
Alexis skipped through the aisles, stopping a few times and proceeding to poke whatever vegetable was being sold. However, she made careful not to knock any of them onto the floor because she knew she would get in trouble for it.
She arched her eyebrow as she saw something moving, which was rather green and looked exactly like a vegetable. She peered at it for a few moments before coming at a conclusion. “Ah! Mommy, the vegetables are coming alive!” She said and frantically ran at the figure, proceeding to tackle it.
“Alexis! That’s not a…” Sara began to say, but it was too late, Alexis had already proceeded to have a head on collision with the poor Chikorita. “Vegetable.” She said with a small sigh.

Tyra had stopped moving as she spotted the veggy she was looking for. Standing on tip toes to try and reach for a bag of spinnach out of the corner of her eye she spotting something hurtling towards her. Oh! It was a person! And...wait...
Suddenly she found herself tackled to the floor. Her vines came out to wrap around the figure instinctively, though it was more like a friendly hug than a squeezing embrace. She gave an ooooof as her back hit the ground. It hurt...a lot. Her breath knocked out of her she gasped for a moment before she looked up at her attacker.
Why...it was a girl! And she looked rather cute! She must already really like her if she was so apt to tackle her to the ground. With her arms she wrapped them around Alexis and gave her a proper hug.
"HI! I like you to!" she exclaimed despite her back aching some she could take it especially if it meant she got a new friend.
"Tyra??" Came a familiar voice of a mother desperately trying to locate her daughter. One moment she was there and the next gone! It was every mothers nightmare.
"I'm over here mom!" She replied a bit loudly.

Sara just shook her head as Alexis lunged at the girl, but knew she hadn’t meant any harm. Even though she should know by now that it wasn’t okay to tackle people, she would it slip this time. It seemed that the Chikorita wasn’t seriously injured, so she was relieved to see that. She’d certainly have some explaining to do otherwise.
Alexis blinked for a few moments, before proceeding to gasp when the ‘vegetable’ did. However, the more she examined it the quicker she began to process the fact that the poor thing that she had tackled wasn’t actually a thing, nor a vegetable. She looked a bit boggled when Tyra hugged her, but nonetheless she hugged her back. After all, it would be rude if she didn’t.
“Hi… I’m really sorry if I hurt you…” She said with a small frown, gently getting off her and then lending a hand so she could help her up. “I thought you were a vegetable so I…” She wasn’t even quite sure what had went through her mind, but all she had thought was that this moving vegetable was somehow dangerous. After all, foreign things usually cause concern. “Um, I hope you’re okay.”

Jayoku came to the aisle where the two had fallen and looked relieved to have found her daughter. Though she was lying on the ground a rather interesting girl on top of her. She had to wonder what her daughter had done to deserve to be tackled to the ground. Though Tyra seemed happy, so it couldn't of been bad..
Tyra looked up at the girl still smiling. And when she got off she took the offered hand and giggled at the girls words. Her leaf wiggled as she laughed.
"Vegetable?" she echoed trying to regain her composure. "I'm not hurt, but I am kinda like a vegetable! I am a plant type after all!" she proudly explained letting two of her vines to come out and offer a wave.
"My name is Tyra! whats yours?" she asked curious as she had never seen a girl quite like Alexis before.

Alexis slowly brightened up, seeing that this girl was much like herself, except green and... leafy. "Really? That's cool." She giggled along with her as she watched the two vines waves. "I'm a water type, I think, since I like water a lot!" She could spend hours splashing in the bathtub. "That's a pretty name! Mine's Alexis." She said and lent out her hand to shake. That was what people seemed to do when they met someone...
Sara went back to shopping around, but kept a close eye on Alexis. The girl could certainly be a handful when she wanted to be. Still, she usually seemed to be on her best behaviour when she met someone new.
