Hennet Oleander didn't really like overly crowded places... in fact he'd turned into a kind of hermit over the past year or so... thankfully Yeesha had not. There was but one thing that could make Hennet go to this loud, dim, claustrophobic place and that was his daughter. That and the crushing guilt.. but he pushed that to the side with a small shake of his head.

Yeesha was enjoying herself.. and that alone was like the sun in his world.

Yeesha was indeed enjoying herself. The young alligator-child was racing from game to game, stopping occasionally at the table her father sat at to hold out her hands for more tokens and pass of the wad of tickets she got. She wore a long sleeve shirt of yellow and a long skirt that reached to about her knees of black. She was allowed to take off her shoes but her stark white ('Soon to be gray with dirt', Hennet thought) socks remained on. She didn't care.

She didn't care one bit she was -free-. She was free of the house, of the stifling confines, of those frigging WALLS. She'd grown to hate the small, but very nice trailor home that her father had bought for them when they'd moved. It felt like forever since she had been allowed to run around like this in a public place. Flashes of white bandage could be seen wrapped about her ankles and trailing upward out of sight as she ran around. No less than two people had been knocked over by her whipping tail already and one little girl had grown dangerously close to being bitten when she'd butted in line... other than that she was having so much fun!

But... but she still wished someone she knew could be here too. She felt a definate urge to stay away from the 'normal' children, they tended to stare. Oh well, right? Yeesha ran over to a game full of flashing lights and a loud buzz. The object seemed to be to smack the button when the lights were right in front of you... she put in her token and gave it a shot, giving a small keen of glee as three tickets popped out.

Haru must have really been in a good mood. Not one, but two day trips. First the ice cream shop which had let him see Emi, and a few small bumps. A wary smile grew on his face as he recalled the meeting with the new guardian the young swan had. Definitely best not to bring that up, Haruki hadn't spoken much for the rest of the day after that. Not good at all.

But now this too. A day at the arcade. Again, Flower had been left at the stables, something he secretly was happy about, and Phace with a keeper. So it was just the two of them. Which left things so much more carefree really. Haruki had chosen to sit at a table and work, something Revon couldn't fathom doing in a place like this. So much noise, he could also be in slight awe at the fact that his guardian was to intent on his things. Still, his main purpose was to give out tokens and watch their things. He'd told Revon to go have fun afterall, have fun and not worry.

As if that was normal.

Still, he knew what he wanted to do. With enough tokens to keep himself busy for a while he was quickly hunting for his favourite machine, the reason he liked arcades so. He was so eager to find it he wasn't even taken much notice of the people around him, not enough to worry about what they'd think of him anyway. All he wanted was...

AH-HAH! There it was, the bright cheery sound of music playing among the chaos. A quick look revealed the actual source. Dance Dance Revolution. Apparently, one of the newer ones, though there were also the older systems around it. Not too much of a line either, there seemed to be more people watching someone on a racing game, and there was some of that roller rink type thing. With the puck. Mini hockey? He didn't pay much attention to it.

With a rather uncharacteristic little hop of joy the avian was quick to rush toward it, barely noticing the brightly coloured person beside him. He didn't take note of the figure at first, more intent on the machine before him, though after a few seconds a feeling of deja-vu struck the boy, causing him to glance over his shoulder as he waited for his turn to play. Had he seen someone he knew?

He frowned momentarily trying to think and scanning the crowd curiously. No one looked familiar anymore, just random people, but they weren't the one he'd seen. It was yellow. And green. Hmm, but who?

Yeesha played a few more rounds, she'd gotten a whole ten more tickets out of the machine before she started to hit a loosing streak. With each failure she got one ticket and her temper got hotter. Eventually, after the third loss she gave a snarl and smashed her fist down on the button a final time, grabbing her tickets. She -whipped- around, tail giving a characteristic and loud thump of aggrivation.

She blinked as a streak of bright pink took hold of her attention. Someone was standing looking around in front of the Dance Machine someone.... someone...

Yeesha gave a small gasp, running over with her arms outstretched (flashes of white bandages about her wrists as her sleeves slid up) toward him.

"REVON!" She flew into him, arms wrapping clumsy about his chest. He'd been smaller when she'd met him but she could tell it was him. There were only a few people she'd met before she'd gotten sick and each of them she had visited in her memory when she felt lonely for playmates.

He sighed, about ready to just push the feeling aside as seeing things. It didn't look like anyone he knew was there, maybe he'd just been wanting to see something. But who had he thought he'd seen. He started to give the area one more look over as he did.

Someone who liked yellow. There was Cleo. But she wouldn't be green. Even with the few lines on her wings. No, that certainly wasn't it. He frowned, obviously troubled over it. He knew someone like that. Who was it. Who, who, who, who- OH! He suddenly looked up with a smile. That was right. He'd only met one other person back then aside from his brother. Well, Emi a bit. But that wasn't much of a conversation. It had been akward. No, that one other person was.

Yeesha.

He'd even written her name on the form. Though he'd only seen her once. Keivlos had been very angry with him for it, destroying her name when he saw that. But Keivlos was his brother, not his friend. Still, he hadn't seen her in a long time. Maybe that was why h'd thought about it. But then... if he hadn't remembered right away why had he thought he saw her? He'd have to ask Haruki later.

Now it was a bit depressing though. He was happy to remember her, but... would he ever see her again?

Hearing his name he quickly looked up, half expecting to see Haruki looking upset at him for not coming back or something. Even if the voice was that of a girl. Though instead of a grumpy red-head looking at him as he turned around a sudden force colliding with him, arms around him in a hug. Heavy, whoever it was was heavy. Was what went through his mind as he tried to keep his baance, looking at the thing now attached to him.

And there went any chance of catching his balance enough not to end up flat on his a** in a pile of feathers and what would now be scales.. "Y-Yeesha!?" Well now wasn't that ironic, he hadn't been seeing things. Nevermind asking Haruki. Though that was fine, he had something to smile about. "It was y-you."

Yeesha grinned even as she knocked Revon over, now effectivly laying on top of him as she squeezed around his chest, her cheek pressed against his shoulder while her hair ruffled from it. She even gave a small, feirce shake to him.

"It'th me!" She agreed happily. She finally let go of the other and moved to sit beside him on the floor, her tail trailing out into the walkway without a care. Her bright reptilian eyes gazed eagerly up at Revon. She'd been starved for contact and what better to find as first re-contact than one of her two favorite people!

She looked Revon over with a critical eye. He was very pink... pink wasn't really one of her favorite colors.. in fact she didn't really like pink, it tended to make her feel a bit grumpy BUT BUT BUT! -Revon- was wearing it, so it was okay. "I like your hair! It'th cute!" She reached up to absently tug at the longer lock of her own dark marine hair. "I mithed you! Did you mith me? What are you doing here? Are you playin'? Wanna play?!" The questions spilled out of her so fast but she couldn't help it. She'd been denyed this kind of contact for ages!

He grinned, wrapping his own arms around her in a hug to return the gesture after the initial shock of being knocked over and WHO it was subsided. Though he was a bit rattled when she shook him. Then again, not many people tackled him in a hug, so it was something kind of new.

"Who else would it be?" He slowly sat up, still beaming at the girl, making sure that his wings were out of the way. He'd been lucky that no one stepped on them while he'd been flat on the floor, they were a bit large when laid flat against the floor. Once they were safely tucked away as close to him as he could manage he was a bit more secure. Having someone step on his wings would have hurt, they were fragile afterall.

Ah yes, pink. Something he both loved, and hated at the moment. He oved the colour, it was bright and cheerful, always bringing a hopeful feeling that made him want to smile. And yet... Keivlos hated him for it. So it was obviously bad. Why did something he like have to be bad? "Really?" He absent mindedly shovedone of the ribbon strings that had trailed in over his shoulder back. "Thanks." Haruki would have gotten on him for that coment, it wasn't proper english afterall.

A fierce nod greeted the next question. "Of course!" He tilted his head to the side slightly. "What have you been doing all this time? I haven't seen you at all..." Not that that wasn't obvious. Though the look didn't last long as the topic of what he'd been playing came up. "Dance Dance Revolution." He stated matter of factly. "This game." He gestured to the machine he'd been standing near as he started to get up, offering a hand to her. "It's a lot of fun, I've been playing it since I was little. You dance to the beat and hit the buttons as they come up." Well, a close enough explaination really. "You should try it!"
