In German if spelt "nie" it means "never".
So they could be the knights that say "NEVER!"
I wouldn't put it past those python boys for it to mean something sly, they were a bunch of intellegent fellows - or it could jsut be babble talk.

"ni" can be found in several other languages. For example in russian and japanese. If someone is proficient enough to explain eventual conotations please do so ^_^

"ni" is the abbreviation of another of their sacred words; "Ni-wong".
But don't ask me what THAT means ^_^

freespiritedfool Ni-wong!...nope just doesn't have the same effect If you listen to the pronounciation in the film it's more of a "NIIIIIIIwong" with a very outstretched "Ni". Of course there is also "Peng", another of their sacred words. And then later on they become the nights of "Ecki-Ecki-Ecki-PTANG-Zoop-Boing-Hzbzbhz*mumble* xd "

Ni is the sound you make when your sanity leaves you a note on your pillow saying that 'It's just not working out. I have found someone else. I'm leaving and taking your marble collection with me. Don't try to find me. I changed my name this morning'
Ni is like your brain snapping. I say it a lot, but then again I'm insane and have been watching Monty Python since I was four
