Adi'sa walked alongside Tailsin as they departed the overhanging boundaries of the Stargrove. It was maybe a little risky taking her there, considering it was a place that Gods made themselves known and the spirits moved freely between this plane and the next, but Adi'sa was a nvwati afterall. He only feared what Tawa'di the elder might say. He'd come to look upon him as a father figure, and greatly wanted to impress him, make him proud.

On the other hand, Tailsin was a 'survivor.' She had to know these new lands in depth and as well as Tawa'di himself if she was to stay. And it looked liked she was staying.

There was a startling contrast between the two. Aside from fur colour - Adi'sa's russet fur against Tailsin's dark pelt - Adi'sa had bloomed into adulthood, despite his internal protests. As fluffy as his mane had been, it was even fluffier now and had grown quickly in his time in the Ela'wadiyi lands.

He didn't speak for a little while, feeling uneasy about having spoke to spirits right in front of Tailsin.

"So, that was the Stargrove. Elder Tawa'di brought me here shortly after I stumbled into these lands," he said.

The black lioness looked at him. She had to try hard not to laugh as she had watched him talking to the spirits, it was something she hadn't expected to see. Though it was educational and after Tailsin got over her immature moment she was all too happy to just listen and though it didn't make much sense to her she was slowly understanding what it was that he was doing.

"Shortly after you got here? They seem sacred, that surprises me. Who is this Elder anyway? You have spoken so highly of him!" She was curious. Adi was teaching her much about the pride that she had either forgotten or never got told. It was taking a while but they were getting there slowly and it made her happier to be home.

"Well...the talent and skills for being a nvwati can usually be sensed at a young age," he began in that 'teacher' voice he had. Itwas times like these Adi'sa was in his prime. He absrobed knowledge, but easily spat it back out too.

"Elder Tawa'di, being more experienced than I am of course, must have sensed it in me when I got here. Otherwise, I doubt he would have taken me," he said with fervour.

He didn't want to accept the fact that Tawa'di was old. He'd just found him and found the closest thing he'd ever had to some kind of father-figure. He didn't want to lose him. Not after losing everyone else. Adi'sa stared at the ground for a moment as they continued walking, towards the river.

"I am surprised you haven't met him yet!" he perked up a bit. "But you will no doubt meet him soon. He seems to be everywhere and nowhere all at once. There's been times where I've thought I'd imagined him."

Tailsin listened and nodded. A nvwati was something she could remember though no one in her family had been one, at least she didn't believe so!

"You care for him a lot don't you?" She could see it as he spoke, the enthusiasm and emotion that was in his voice. She would have said he loved this other lion but didn't want it to sound like something it wasn't!

"I hope I do get to meet him, he does sound interesting to say the least. Maybe he will remember my family." It was a passing thought but it made her happy to think that someone could tell her something of her family. Oh how she missed them so much. She had hoped to see them again but instead she finds they are dead or missing. Life loves to throw you surprises when you least expect it!

Adi'sa didn't answer right away. Not that it was a sign of weakness to admit how fondly he thought of Tawa'di, but it was almost like making it real. Like making it a permanent thing. And from experience, anything that he had he was bound to lose. And he didn't want to lose Tawa'di.

He simply nodded and cast a gentle smile at her, so that she might get the idea without him having to say the words.

They reached the river, and Adi'sa lead Tailsin to the shallows, the same place where they had played together, where she'd taught him to loosen up. He waded across, taking Tailsin to a beautiful clearing where they could rest up and just talk.

"Yes, if anyone would know, I'm sure he would," he tried to reassure her, despite the fact Tawa'di had known little of Adi'sa's family. But, he did come from a very different clan afterall. Tailsin might have more akin to Tawa'di.

Tailsin just smiled back as he nodded. She knew most males weren't good at showing emotion, at least the ones she had met so she was perfectly happy to just let him nod and to not push it anymore. She knew when to leave something alone.

"Really? Oh that would be so cool! What's he like then? Is he like you? Never wanting to play!" She was being a little cheeky by the end of her sentence. She just had too much fun trying to wind Adi up. He needed to loosen up a little instead of being so up tight about everything.

Adi'sa cast her a slightly reproaching glare, huffing through his nose. As they reahced the little, open clearing, he nestled himself against a tree, sighing. Besides...it wasn't true. He did play! Just...not as much as other liones, he supposed.

"He's...well...he's a lot older than me...and browner, but not darker. He's not as dark as you. And he has a greying mane. He's very wise, and very patient. I dunno how much he plays though," he added with a smirk at the end.

Tawa'di Kanati had just left the Stargrove yet again, hoping to come across Mdhamana, to try and barter with her their agreement from a few months ago. He had been unable to gain contact with her, though, and worried if he had done something to cross her. His mind's eye wouldn't tell him a thing, and he did his best to shush his nerves and intuition. Everything would work out, but perhaps there was still too much for him to do to really meet with the goddess again.

His ears pricked up as it picked up sounds of voices from the soft breeze. Hmmm, did that sound like Adi'sa? The old lion was curious with what his fellow nvwati was doing, and slowly made his way towards where he thought the voices were coming from. Each step felt a little touch, but perhaps that was because he hadn't really eaten much at all today. Perhaps he could catch someone to find something for him. He could never catch anything fresh again in his old days.

With a chuckle, he continued to walk, not quite coming across anything. Did his ears lie? Or was his eyesight finally starting to fail that he couldn't see anything but savannah grass? With another flick of his ears, he realized that no, none of those things happened. His paws just managed to take him in the wrong direction.

"Hoi," he huffed, turning his head around to keep an eye open to where the owners of these mysterious voices were.

Tailsin giggled where she was suppose to. "I bet he still plays more then you do!" She suddenly stopped laughing as she heard something.

"Did you hear that?" She looked around trying to spot what it was that made that sound but she couldn't hear anything more. Strange. Well she was normally a curious thing and that wasn't about to change.

"Come on Adi!" She kind of needed him to come because now she was going to go and find whatever made that noise and she didn't really know her way around the pride so if she got lost he could help her find her way back! She didn't wait for an answer but happily trotted towards where she thought she heard the noise.

She eventually saw what made the noise.

"Excuse me, who are you?"

Before he even had time to perk his ears and try to listen to what Tailsin had heard, she was up and off in search of the auditory culprit. Aid'sa shot up and followed after her, a little frustrated frown on his face. He, unlike his companion, was not one to rush into things. They left the little clearing and were just bordering the savannah grasses when he vaguely picked up the dark markings of his elder.

"Elder Tawa'di?" he shouted.

The elder nvwati's ear flicked when he heard a strange voice, and then one that he knew very very well. Adi'sa.

The old lions slowly turned himself around, a warm smile falling across his face. "Adi'sa. I see that you've been getting around, then," he teased, noticing the pretty young lady next to him. His eyes had a certain sparkle to them today, especially when he saw yet another lion of their blood return home.

He offered a slight bow, for he couldn't quite push himself as far down as he used to. "Welcome, my lady. I am Tawa'di Kanati, a mere nvwati of this pride. It is such a pleasure to see you, as well as meet you."

He assumed that she would offer him her name, since it was the polite thing to do. If for any reason she didn't, though, well....there were probably reasons for that, and he would not press them. Everyone was prone to dark things they wished to keep hidden.

"And how are you today, my son?" he questioned Adi'sa, as he hadn't seen him in a bit of time. Perhaps he had been out and about, and was busy leading the lady home.

Tailsin's ears ficked back as Adi shouted at the older Ela, well that answered her question though the male seemed to answer it anyway.

"I am Tailsin'Kivuli Kidudusi a mere stranger to the pride." She was being a little childish in her response trying hard not to giggle but she held herself together as Adi seemed to respect this male more then she would have thought possible.

"Adi speaks highly of you." She thought she would add that in after all he probably knew that Adi liked him a lot anyway! This would be an interesting meeting, she didn't have a clue how to have a proper conversation without turning it into some sort of play date.

Adi'sa blushed and became a little flustered at the elder's teasing but he took the joke well and restrained nervous attempts to quell the assumptions. He was sure Tawa'di would know what he was really doing, and he was sure Tailsin would know too.

"Its good to see you elder," he bowed in a sign of respect. This was where he might normally have gone on to recall the events of the day and his accomplishments in the Stargrove, but Tailsin's meeting was more important.

"I'm very well, been showing my friend here around the lands she might hopefully call home."

"Oh?" Tawa'di's emerald green eyes looked more closely at the lady in front of him. She seemed to have a sweet heart, perhaps even a bit playful. Well, there was no problems with that, especially since they sure needed more youthful life in their home.

"Is this true, Miss Tailsin? It would be quite a pleasure, I will admit." He gave her a little wink before drawing himself back together. He didn't want to seem too silly himself, but the other you got, the more you appreciated the little bits of humor in life.

She looked at the Elder with a large smile on her face and happily nodded as he asked her a question.

"I wish to return home if Adi can put up with me tagging along for a while. He needs to loosen up a bit I mean he just wont play... uptight thing he is." She was chuckling as she spoke. She couldn't help but be playful, it was just how she was. She loved to play and it seemed to make those around her happy so it all seemed to work well. That and it was also hopefully winding Adi up which was lots of fun!
