OPTION 1: 3/4 white glue to 1/4 water (or if using a good, thick glue, like elmers you can do 1/2 and 1/2)
OPTION 2: COOK METHOD: 1 part flour to 5 parts water... boil about 3 minutes and let cool
OPTION 3: 1 part flour to 1 part water. Stir together.
You might want to use a bit of air dry clay (it'll stick together and be solid enough to take off your face while "wet") or quick dry plaster to make the original form to fit your face. Or even use one of those cheap "mardi-gras"/Party mask plastic/cardboard bases. If you don't have something to wrap the paper mache on it can be a soggy mess.
If you use plaster or clay remember to vaseline up your eyebrows as I doubt you want to lose them. xd
you can use pieces of cardboard or more clay and build up papermache after you have the form to create features.

Maybe you should write it down as you're going sweatdrop Although that makes it a bit harder to be spontaneous and creative.

tried that before and it didn't work out to well. aslo Im rethinking about using newspaper as strips and using thin strips of a white paper since it kind of looks like a hollow mask.

Nice pics! It does look a bit like a hollow mask. So is it just made of card at the moment?

Now that halloween is around the corner you can check out your local dollarstores and department stores for some cheap generic domino masks. Cardstock and cardboard held together with masking tape will work really well for more elaborate projects though. Then you can use toilet paper, tissue, newspaper or paper towl to layer on top with your glue + water mixture. There is a show called Art Attack which featured many paper mache projects. Instead of dipping strips of paper in glue, he pasted the paper directly to the base using a paintbrush. This really helps reduce the general sogginess. You can see an example of this here. Your mask is looking really awesome so far and I agree that it does look like it's from a Hollow or a Vizard! What are you plans for it?
