The golden cheetah had spent most of her life since having her cubs watching them. She wasn't really one to pay too much attention to others, she had watched her youngsters grow up from a distance and now she was happy to leave them. They could look after themselves and she now wanted to get her life back. Move about have some fun. She wanted to have a life again.

The first way she decided to get her life back was to run. She hadn't done so in such a while. Firstly she picked a random direction and that was it, she was off. She had no care, no worry no nothing. She was free. Free and single and she was loving it.

How long she ran for she didn't know but she soon slowed down to take a drink. She was starting to tire, she needed to have a drink. She was getting sore.

"I need to do more exercise..."

She went towards the nearest water hole and lowered her head to drink. She had no fear of lions or any other creature. She could normally run faster them and if not she was sure she would be able to out wit them. She thought of most lions being rather dumb.

With a mouth full of flowers and leaves, the leopard staggered his way towards the nearest watering source. He needed to clean all the items before putting them to use. Wincing slightly each time his forleg touched the ground, it was quite silly of him for getting wounded in the first place. It wasn't his fault that he had happened to wander through a bunch of lions at the exact time they were eating a meal. It's not like he wanted it anyway, he had better things to do such as find those flowers that he needed.

Not paying much attention to his surroundings, Rishi had found some water. He bent down to place the flowers and leaves into the water. With his paw, he moved them around a bit to clean them off. Muttering angrily, "Stupid lions....thinking that they're better than everyone..."

It wasn't until he saw a reflection in the water before he stood up, but not without a small cringe as he put weight on his one foot. Oh dear, there was a cheetah here and he was making a fool of himself. With a sheepish look, "Hello!"

Thanda looked up at the sound of someone arriving. She tensed her body ready to move but it was only a leopard and a limping one so there was nothing to worry about. She had never met a leopard willing to attack a cheetah but she was sure there would be one out there somewhere.

She listened to his mumblings and let out a small chuckle as he moaned about lions. She liked him already.

"Hey!" She smiled moving a little closer to him. She was still cautious but she didn't think she had anything to worry about.

"Run in with lions?" She looked at his paw as she spoke. The mumbling about lions and the limping had gave her that idea.

"I agree, they do think they are better then everyone else. They are better not existing." She spoke softly even if she did hate lions. No need to sound harsh around someone who seemed to share her dislike.

Lime eyes took in the cheetah before Rishi nodded slowly. A scowl appeared on his features as he replied, "Unfortunately." He shook his head before he started to shred the leaves and flowers into little pieces. With his good paw, he spread the pieces over his wound. Wincing slightly, he softly hissed.

Returning his attention back to the cheetah, "I was in search of the flowers here when I happened upon a band of lions and their kill. Of course, being the greedy creatures that they are, thought that I wanted their kill. It is a shame that they are so narrow-minded." He tsked at the thought before smiling to the female, "How silly of me, here we are and no proper introductions! I am Rishi, a pleasure to meet you."

She listened carefully and nodded in agreement about the lions. She had never really had a bad run in with them but she was smaller then them and common sense kept her away from them.

"Oh sorry, I am Thanda. It is lovely to meet you though it would have been nicer to meet if you had not been attacked by those brutes. Did you manage to get any of those flowers? I would happily help you find some if you need any help in doing so?" She was good at asking questions but as she always had been, she was a caring and wonderfully helpful girl.

He nodded his head, giving her a wry smile, "Though, meeting like this kind of makes it more memorable." Rishi couldn't help but chuckle, not that he wanted pain inflicted on himself, he just wanted to look on the brighter side of things. He bent down to lap up some water before getting up. Thanda. A pretty unique name.

At her question, his lime eyes brighten, "If I had gotten the flowers, I would have definitely gone back to get some more with your company. It's much more pleasant to be with another than by yourself." He nodded before turning back in the direction he came from, "And thank-you very much for the offer, I'd be delighted to have your company while we go get some flowers!"

Thanda smiled, "Well I am glad that at least I shall be remembered!" She gave a small chuckle as well. She thought this leopard was somewhat amusing and there was no doubt that leopards were obviously not bad creatures.

"Collecting flowers seems like fun but tell me, why is it you want them? I am sure it isn't something that most leopards do!" She smiled as she followed him. She didn't mind that he was an odd leopard who collected flowers he was funny and kind so she had no problem helping him out.

With Thanda next to him, Rishi couldn't help but chuckle. It felt nice to make friends with someone other than a leopard. And what luck did he have to find someone who was friendly and didn't care for lions all that much! His tail flicked as he turned to her, her question was something he had expected.

It wasn't all that common for leopards, or any cats for that matter, to be hunting flowers. He gave her a lopsided smile, "No, I guess you could say that most leopards don't go flower hunting," He paused, "It's all in the way my parents raised me. My mother and father were very knowledgeable about the plants around us and each of them having their own, special property. So, whenever we were sick, or hurt, or feeling unwell, my parents would use the plants to help aid our ailment. And so, these flowers that I was looking for, help in healing."

He winked at her, "But, they're also pretty and make fine pieces of jewelry!"

"A craftsman too then are you? You can make me some sort of necklace then!" She chuckled a little and stretched a bit, her muscles felt so tight, she had grown so lazy it was depressing.

"So why are you looking for the plants to help heal? You don't look like you are hurt, other then mentally by those horrid excuse of a feline." She was without doubt still bitter towards the lions that attacked him even though he seemed fine with it now.

"I would like to learn about these flowers and their properties though, if you are ok teaching me?" She looked up at him, her orange eyes trying to tear him open and see what kind of leopard he was, other then an odd one!

At her first statement, Rishi couldn't helpt but smile at the comment. Hm, some kind of necklace would look lovely on the female, that's for sure! He nodded his head, an idea would come sooner or later. "I could make you a necklace. We'll just need to find some items that you like."

As the two of them got closer to the area, his lime eyes searched the area. While he couldn't see it from here, he knew that they were close. The sweet scent was very faint, but still there. He turned back to Thanda with a smile, "You never know when you just might need it. I like to keep a stash handy, just in case." He flicked his tail before his eyes got wide. Wow, she wanted to learn? That's something new to him! His siblings wanted nothing to do with this and so, it was just him that learned it from his parents. He was excited at the idea of teaching Thanda, but kind of nervous...what if he didn't teach her right? Pushing all worries away, he smiled brightly at her, "Of course! It would be a pleasure to teach you about the flowers. I've never taught anyone before, so if you get confused or if I don't make sense, just let me know since most of this is like second nature to me."

As the flowery scent got stronger, "Smell the sweet scent? We're close to the flowers."

A necklace would be amazing and Thanda couldn't hide the large grin that covered her face very quickly!

She listened to what he said and nodded, "Yes I suppose you are right, like those lions today could have hurt you. Glad they did chase you though otherwise I wouldn't have met you!" She chuckled a little while still listening intently to him.

"You will teach me? Oh yes I will tell you if I am confused, thank you so so much!" She was so very happy about that. She then raised her head to see if she could smell the scent and then yes!

"There is it! I can smell it!" She was so excited. Something new and interesting!

Different flowers ran through his mind as Rishi tried to think of which ones he could get for Thanda. At the very least, they needed to be bright and compliment the female. She'd get a nice necklace. His ears turned at Thanda's words and he couldn't help but to agree. It wasn't every day that he got to be in the company of another, especially a cheetah. He gave her a smile, "You're very welcome, it's not often that I run across others who want to learn...most of them just give me weird looks and the like."

He couldn't help but chuckle at her, the flowers were a nice setting. He could spot a batch not too far ahead. "There they are!" He pounced forward, landing next to some flowers before he looked back at Thanda and stuck out his tongue playfully. "What a surprise to find so many here, I wasn't expecting this much!" He stood up and looked at her, "The first thing that my parents told me was that you only take what you need and nothing more. Because if you take too much, then there won't be as much plants for the next season and they'll die out."

She smiled, glad that he would teach her and glad that she was also one of a few. It was nice to be different sometimes and to stand out. This did sound really interesting though.

She followed him and looked at the flowers, there were loads of them but only take a few? She looked a little confused but thought about it for a while before answering. Yes it did make sense though she would have probably taken them all if he hadn't said something.

"So how do they help? They are very pretty!" She was curious, after all who wouldn't be finding flowers that can help to heal?

Walking through the patch of flowers, Rishi's lime eyes searched each flower closest to him. He wanted flowers that were open and not wilted. He wanted the flowers to last for a while, and a wilted flower would help a little in the ways that he is looking for. An ear flicked as he turned back to look at Thanda, "These flowers, help to soothe any aches and pains that you might have. When choosing flowers, you need to make sure that the flower is all the way open, but not drooping or wilted. You want a flower that's just opened, not about to die." He nodded before looking back at the flowers.

He walked slowly before finding a couple of flowers he'd like to take. But, one caught his attention the most. It was bright and vibrant. Perfect! He plucked it gingerly before looking back to Thanda, "And this, Thanda, would make the perfect ornament for a necklace for you."

Thanda listened well to what she was being told, it was all rather interesting and then when he picked a flower for her,

"Wow it's beautiful!"

She looked at it for quite a long time and then just smiled happily. Oh it was the most beautiful flower she had ever seen!

"Thank You!"
