Another beautiful night.
Auriga looked skyward as she lay in the grass, atop a hill so as to be closer to the night sky. She truly was becoming nocturnal, if only to see sights such as this. The stars were scattered across the inky blue-black canvas above her, with larger stars and planets standing out. She smiled and breathed a heavy sigh. Company would be nice on such a night.

He had finally made his way home from all his wondering and the first thing that happens is he wanders off again. His sister would be mad and so would his mother, but on a night like this who could resist.
With a light hearted sigh the clumsy and yet ironically graceful stallion took off from his home to enjoy the crisp night air. As the wind whipped through his hair he fell into an almost trance. A lopsided smile, inherited from his father, graced his face as he ran on imagining he was running on clouds. A slight noise somewhere to his left snapped him from his happy place and sent him sprawling to the ground as he tried to see what it was.

The peace and quiet was broken, first by thundering hooves of a running Soquili, and then the unmistakable thud of something hitting the ground. Auriga jumped to her hooves so quickly she nearly toppled back over, her heart racing at the fright she got. At first, she could see nothing. And then, a blue rump with black markings. Auriga blinked in disbelief at the heap in front of her.
"Are... are you alright?" She whispered, not wanting to startle whoever belong to this rump.

Laughter spilled out from Ayden's mouth as he pushed himself into a more comfortable position on the ground. "Yeah, I'm fine." He said casting a light smile over his shoulder to the quiet voice. His golden eyes widened slightly and he scrambled to his feet when he realized the voice belonged to a mare. He turned to face her but all attempts at eye contact all but failed.
He had seen mares before and talked to a few but it was really just his half sister and mother that he felt comfortable with. Unless he was with those two his conversations had a habit of being extremely awkward. "I um...I um...I'm...uh...sorry you had to...uh...see that miss...?" Already he was beating himself up. Why did girls have to be so different? He just didn't know how to act around them.
