Libenalas was exploring the territory enjoying the slight misty ocean breeze. In general she liked it, not that it didn't have it's issues mainly she was concerned about the members in the pack not being the...usual. She felt very odd being under the orders of a teenager and a puppy, she had yet to meet this Larka however or Algoma the Lynx. She hoped deep down that everyone would be able to get along and that Twist would find some more adults.
After the other day when she had wandered down the cliff and towards the forest clearings she had come back feeling much better having made a friend. Making friends seemed simple enough but maybe in a pack things were different and maybe with other species... But no she was determined to keep a positive outlook.
Alas promised herself she would watch other the mature little pack until it actually fully matured. Her maternal heartstrings had been tugged and the fact she had been alone for so long probably hadn't hurt either. She had thought on that during her talk with Gracia, she would have joined any pack, followed anyone who would have her out of desperation for company.

The ivory feline groomed her coat with little attention to the area around her. The icy eyes shifted however from the work in paw and to the soft pink mutt walking through the area. This creature looked like it was a 'good' soul.
"Why is that here? Twist must see some potential with in it," the tone was anything but kind and the eyes judged the wolfess with disdain. This wasn't anything new to anyone that had came around the sadist, in fact this first sighting was better then most.
Straighting up and turning towards the full grown canine. Algoma hopped off of her small rocky ledge and slinked over toward the pink and white creature.
"Hello," her voice purred out about like a bucket of ice water being dumped onto ones head. The odd shapes and the white frilly look on this ones coat was distasteful. After this confrontation Algoma would have to go kill something big and try for the umpteenth time to stain her bright ivory coat.

Libenalas looked up and smiled glad to meet the lynx at last. Her blue eyes brightened happily as she took in the pretty white coat splashed with a pink that matched her own. She moved closer and flintched slightly at the greeting, odd it didn't sound very friendly...but perhaps lynx's sounded different than wolves, she only had experience with other wolves and a squirrel. She placed her best paw forward and let her tail sway in a friendly gesture.
"Hello, I'm Libenalas...you can call me Alas. Twist said I should come up and have a look around, I'm part of the pack now." She watched carefully for Algoma's reaction and tried to keep her stance friendly.

Looking at the overly friendly expression, bright blue eyes and just her pure scent made the lynx fight back every urge to recoil and shudder. This creature must have been good for something, other wise didn't this being fit under one of those tree-hugging-peace-keepers? The chilling eyes just looked at the fluffy wolf.
"Alas, hm," boy she could say somethings, but alas she just held her tongue. Maybe this one would be good to play mind tricks on, or she seemed to be a maternal type. Tormenting a pup before her would probably send this she-wolf running or get her riled up.
Oh the possibilities and scenarios passed through the calculative mind of the lynx. Finally Algoma calmed her raging thoughts enough to speak in the chilling tone that she often used in her games.
"Algoma, and what brings you up here? I figure someone of your," The lynx paused. Then she pressed on with the word that worked in both a disdainful tone and would be interpreted by a fool as pleasant, "poise would have found a pack larger to join." The word poise was used just cause that was the only thing that actually didn't give this grotesque pink mutt a title or unknown rank.

Ala struggled not to narrow her eyes or allow her lips to raise. After all the lynx was probably TRYING to be sociable. Perhaps her kind simply weren't used to being in a pack. She nodded that had to be it Lynx were more used to being alone than in a group. She forced her smile to stay in place, until Algoma paused and seemed to be searching for an insult. Normally Libenalas would have taken the 'compliment' in stride but it seemed unfair that she should be bullied so when she had only come to help.
"Thank you...but I fully believe that an adult presence...and adult WOLF presence would be best for this particular pack, Twist is young and she seems rather...headstrong. I want to make sure everything works out well for her." She smiled sweetly.

Algoma watched the expression tighten on the pink mutts face, it almost made her smile. Maybe this worthless animal had a little bit more brains then the Lynx was giving it.
Don't you dare start with that crap again! It's bad enough you listen to that one mutt! her mind growled heatedly inside her skull.
Zip it, I am not going to be as pleasant with this one as Twist. Twist is a different kind of mutt. She has good sight, this one is lacking majorly. She reasoned with herself and simply scratched the ground with her sharp claws.
After Libenalas replied, even with her sweet tone that sent a ringing into Algoma's ears, the ivory feline smirked. "Your welcome, Alas aren't all adults accustomed accurately among their attributes?" This was just a small mind game she had seen a little bright colored omega using on females of his kind and found it quiet fun herself.
She knew exactly what the feather brain was talking about, she thought Algoma wasn't a good role model. Boy she was right, but Algoma was number one in torturing others making them bend the way she wanted them to. Just the same as hearing their cries touched her curse of a blood lust, which she enjoyed too much.
"In other words, I'm sure Twist will be fine. Even as headstrong as you say she is. Not many wolves take in abandoned pups as quickly as she does or give them as much promise." The icy eyes burned with just the speckle of desire to whip the little wimps into shape.

Libenalas decided lynx or wolf she disliked Algoma, the creature had a cruelty in hr eyes and the twist of her lips that slowly melted her sweet smile.
She frowned and stood abit taller, "I fear our alphas ambition may rob the pups of their youthfulness. Too much waste and ambition could create a greedy pack." Libenalas would support Twist as much as possible until she realized theshe wolf had unkind intents. As a maternal healer she tried to help andsee the good in everything, but she feared meeting Algoma would be her roof that not all had good within.

Algoma recognized that look of distaste and disapproval on the mutt's face. This made her twisted sneer grow and a small chuckled escaped the ivory throat.
"She has taught them how to hunt and survive without wasting a lot of needed energy, I don't see how that ambition can rob them," the yellow speckles on the ivory nose wrinkled. "Did Twist not warn you of me? I've heard her tell the others to avoid me for their own good." If twist hadn't told this 'save-the-pups-' female about the purpose of this pack, then the only one needed to be despised at this time should be the only familiar.
All of the lynx's claws seeped into the soft dirt and clicked against the stone, "Also I heard you say a grammatical error, Twist isn't our Alpha. She is merely an ally that I can respect and allows me to hunt freely in her territory. I stand high among her pack ranks because my mind is unique and I have been looking for good candidates for the packs growth." Algoma's voice was as smooth as a pup's luscious fur.

Libenalas tilted her head and watched the lynx carefully deciding formally that she disliked the creature. "She has taught them waste..." She stoped to listen to the feline.
She frowned at Algoma's words if the feline wasnt even part of the pack then that made her the only adult, what a horrid situation. She was starting to think Twist had been dishonest with her intentionally. She tried to think better of Twist after all she was young and perhaps misguided especially if she was associating with types like Algoma.
"You don't consider Twist your alpha?" This surprised her, why would Twist or any alpha allow such a thing there was clearly no bond of friendship, no loyalty. "If the only candidates you've found are pups you had best look harder..." She sighed and sized up the lynx again now with sharper blue eyes assessing a possible future threat.

Algoma tilted her head back and laughed throat fully, "Waste then, to you, means allowing the pups to have enough common sense for them to hunt small game." Though the lynx hated the little wastes of fur, for now at least, she did like the fact that hunting wasn't mandatory for the little soldiers-to-be. Otherwise, they would have had to turn into savagers of Algoma's pleasure killing because the feline wasn't a believer in giving hand outs.
Watching the small working of the pink wolfess's mind was evident in the deep passionate blue eyes. Licking her jaws, the proud smirk touch the feline's chilling icy blue eyes as she saw Alas determine her displeasure. The more enemies Algoma made in one day, the better her success of the day was. Many, including this aloof minded -from just looking at her, Algoma knew-, thought friends were the key to happiness. This thought made the lynx laugh again.
Still chuckling Algoma shook her head from side to side, "I'm not one for packs, I don't consider myself in any pack. However, I will listen to at least Twist's wishes, and I know she wouldn't want me to kill you. She is more pleasant and a much better socialist then I am. Lynx, in general, don't socialize with wolves, but this land is good and plentiful with prey."
The ivory and two toned light colored flower coat quivered with the tensing muscles. She wasn't happy with this pink mutt and the dirt was sliding between her pressed down claws. Yes, Algoma knew she had threatened this filthy canine, but that wasn't her concern. In fact, the lynx was banking on Alas to go tell Twist about the rude and un-loyal familiar that haunted her territory, like a tattle tell pup.
"I hope this has been most informative for you, but unless there is any need for us to really socialize again. Stick to those pups of yours and I'll find what members I can for Twist. Since that is how my ally ties work." The feline snorted and she began to step around the pink lace, hoping to have made the larger female bubble with a negative emotion.

Libenalas ears flattened back with distaste as she responded to the Lynx. "Waste leaving carcasses uneaten scattered through the territory a beakon for disease and enemies and a warning to the prey to leave." She huffed "I'm sure she didn't mean it that way, her intentions were good in wanting the pups to find food easily accessable..." or so Twist had said.
"Either way if your not in the pack...but as an ally should you ever need aid I would be pressed to help you." Libenalas was still trying to find good in this creature but it became more difficult the more time she spent with her. Perhaps in a few days with time to relax she would think back and find a redeeming quality in the lynx.
For now however Libenalas couldn't keep the hairs on her nape from rising in displeasure and as the Lynx moved in a subtle violent manner Libenalas felt her lips drawing back in an unintentional snarl, which she tried to smooth back into a small smile. She turned slowly as the lynx moved unwilling to have her at her back. "I'll be scouting members more...mature in the meantime...who can help." Not defenceless pups that will be bullied by you she thought silently.

Another sleek sneer came upon the ivory face, "All those corpses, the very ones you believe are waste of the pups hunting. I'm busting your bubbly bubble here, but they are my victims. Twist hasn't been able to catch and cut me off of killing the worthless pity game around here." The icy eyes, almost souless besides the small blue fire burning in them, locked onto the profile of Alas. "Ask Twist why she wont let me near the pups," the lynx's tone was nothing but mockery at this point.
Algoma could see that this overgrown runt was still trying to keep even the purest of evils in a good name. A smooth carnivorous smirk now played past the unnerving face, "I'll remember that, Fluffy." Yes, Algoma had decided that this mothball minded fool wasn't even worth the ironic use of her nickname.
Turning her head again, away from Alas, the sound of the snarl made a sweet note in the ivory lynx's ears. "Ah sweet music," she murmured and speaking louder over her shoulder, "I know an old friend that may like to give a paw or two to help with the pack." Algoma then just disappeared in the dark night like forest. If she looked back now, the dislodged claws would be finding their home into the spine and face of the mutt.
It was time to go and continue some of that useless killing.

Libenalas waited until the lynx had turned her back to leave before carefully wandering off. Where her paws were cautious and slow her mind was a racing tumult, she needed to be careful, she needed some friends. She thought happily on the fact she had a friend and she had...someone she could ask for help.
As Libenalas left she decided Algoma was not kind, there was no good in that lynx, and Algoma would hurt her if she got the chance. Libenalas knew how to try and defend herself, but she would be no match in a true fight, she needed to be taught. She needed someone larger and stronger to show her. With that she decided she would slip out of the territory and make a most hesitant request.
