"What a day," Noyana said to herself as the sun started to sink below the horizon. She'd been out and about all day; she'd brought down two rabbits. One she'd eaten herself, the other she gave to a random hungry-looking cub. Still, despite the long day that it had been, Noyana wasn't at all tired, nor ready to call it a day. Besides, she loved being out at night when she wasn't supposed to.
So she sat at the edge of the den, closest to the exit, waiting for the opportune moment to slip out. It'd be ideal if she could drag a sibling with her, but she'd have to wait and see... If she ended up going alone, she'd stop by and fetch Chaka for a little dusk-exploring. Mom and dad were already asleep... Good. Now... where had Chane ended up? He'd be perfect to go with her.
She surveyed the den in search of him, but couldn't find that yellow pelt. Was she just being blind, or was he actually not around?

Chane had also had a rather eventful day, however, he wasn't anything for hunting just yet. It wasn't that he couldn't, it was just that the brightly-colored juvenile wasn't interested in it; not in the slightest bit. The little male gave his green and black tipped tail a swift swing from side to side, then watched as his twin sister, Noyana, placed herself at the edge of the den. "What is she up to?" He pondered to himself quietly, sneaking away from his sleeping place between his brother, Od, and his mother, Na'ilah; moving toward the entrance to their little den.
Chane had thought that it looked as though Noyana had been searching for him, although she probably hadn't seen him, as his mother had been the one laying in front of him, probably blocking him from her sight. He moved around his mother, and then bounded toward the cave entrance, sneaking up behind his sister as best he could. "Noyana!" He spoke in a rushed whisper, "Why aren't you laying with the family? We're going to bed now, don't you know? I don't want to have to be the one to tell mother that you keep sneaking away..." The little yellow twin said to his sister, frowning slightly at his last sentence.

Noyana jumped the slightest bit at that familiar voice. She turned immediately, glad that she wouldn't have to meander around to find her brother. However, his words forced a little frown across her face too.
"Chane, c'mon," she whispered back with a skeptical look on her face. "Part of you must really want to go out there. Nothing bad happens! It's just good clean fun!" She rose to her feet and faced her twin more head-on, in a playful stance, tail swishing. "You know you want to come with me! We could do all sorts of exploring!"
She added on before Chane could respond, "I'm going with or without you, it'd be more fun if you came." A pleading look spread across the lioness' face
