I wanted to point out some things that I noticed, about this scene.
For starters, when you talk to one of the 'Clouds' he says : "Tender feelings.. A secret... no-one can know."
That secret was of how he thought he had failed Tifa, and how he thought that she blamed him. (when she didn't) I thought it was important that 'tender feelings' was mentioned. Cloud had very tender feelings for Tifa, is what that meant to me. Interesting.
Next, before Cloud and Tifa enter the lifestream, if you talk to the nurse she says: "That girl has been by his side this whole time. She must really love him."
I thought that was SOO sweet! That even the nurse could notice how strongly Tifa cared about Cloud and wanted to save him.
Third, did any of you notice that as Tifa and Cloud are leaving the lifestream, they are holding hands? :3
And fourth, when Tifa is speaking with the 'child' Cloud, she says that she's sorry that she never noticed Cloud, and that she didn't blame him, and that their memories by well etc... were real.
The child Cloud says,
"Tell that same thing to him(referring to the present Cloud), I bet he will be so happy."
I was almost crying by then!!! D'X
And then I realized--- I had forgotten that Tifa's mother had died! I started to really think, Tifa had a really tough life. She lost her mother and then her father later on. That must of been so devastating for her! And, I never really liked Tifa's Dad though, for treating Cloud so cruelly. I guess I can SORT of understand, since it was his daughter who was hurt but...
He didn't have to blame Cloud for what happened and say, "what if she dies?!"
If Tifa really did die there, Cloud would of thought it was all his fault! And he was just a small child! I just thought that was terrible.
Oh yeah, and how when Cloud came back to Nimbleheim(sp w/e); I thought it was sooo sad that Cloud hid his face from Tifa because he thought he was a failure. *sniffle*
But yeah, just some things I took note of. ^^

You have to remember when talking about this scene that you aren't Cloud, you can't control what he does. It also isn't an optional scene like the date scene, it's something you have to see. If you pay attention you'll notice there is only one scene in Cloud's memories that was never changed. Cloud remembered his promise with Tifa exactly how it happened. Cute, right. heart

I liked the lifesteam scene. It was one of my favorite parts (aside from the fight with Sephiroth with I mostly loved for the music). biggrin

Heheh, Cleris can try with all their might to argue that this scene doesn't establish the Cloti relationship, but they'd only look stupid.
"But Tifa didn't do anything!"
"She didn't care for him!"
And etc...! How many times have we heard these arguments?

Twindream Heheh, Cleris can try with all their might to argue that this scene doesn't establish the Cloti relationship, but they'd only look stupid. "But Tifa didn't do anything!" "She didn't care for him!" And etc...! How many times have we heard these arguments? Why would they say that?

Many claim that Tifa just stood there and did nothing, merely watching Cloud piece himself together himself and related to their childhood where Tifa pretty much ignored him. They try to counter the lifestream scene that way...but the deeper message is hidden....
"I found you".
They found each other's feelings. Tifa finally let out her locked heart and Cloud finally opened his locked mind. Both shared an intimate understanding with each other, letting down all barriers, something so meaningful and deep...it's unbreakable. crying

But Cloud needed her there. If he didn't, wouldn't he have fixed himself previously? Plus there was that issue about Tifa supporting a falsehood about his past when they were reunited, and Tifa needed to sort that out before Cloud could distinquish between Zack's memories and his own.

Exactly. They BOTH had to find each other. That reminds me of the Highwind scene when they both stated that they heard each other calling for one another in their hearts. That's why those scenes are so significant BECAUSE it's about them both going through the same pain with only each other to reconcile with. Of course, most Cleris fans don't want to realize how meaningful their relationship really is.

Heh, this reminds me how some of the Cleris tend to call Tifa a "bully" because of Cloud and Tifa's past.
Tifa didn't bully Cloud for christs' sake. She didn't notice him really, but she didn't tease him or intentionally hurt him. :/ Wow.

Heheheh, if she ever bullied Cloud in the past, then I think I wouldn't protest Cleris as much. xd The majority of Cleris would just LOVE to lie to themselves.

No, not really. They just ignored him. In Johnny's letter to Tifa, he said that when everyone was bidding Johnny goodbye, he was about to invite Cloud, but decided not to because he thought Cloud was just a loner and wouldn't care. So they thought little of him and didn't like him, but there was really no record of them bullying Cloud. (Well....when Tifa went into a coma, Cloud did go crazy and fight with everyone. xd )

I liked Jonny. He was a funny fellow to watch follow you throughout the game. xd
Actually, I remember this one flashback were (in Tifa's room) they wondered if Cloud would like to play with them.

That part was so sad....Cloud was really worried about Tifa....and the other guys were just shunning him...Tifa was too depressed to think about anyone. crying
Johnny was a weird guy alright. xd He looked schizophrenic. His head was messed up like Cloud....he mixed him up with Zack.
