I got really bored and figured out by the episode The Face of Boe has been in the he's about 4,999,800,000 years old. He looked pretty good for his age before he passed.

Wow, when I'm bored I never think about doing stuff like that. Very imaginative. 4,999,800,000 years old?!?! Holy crap... that's old. Very old.
Ah, I really do love the Face of Boe. Bless. I would hug him if I could.

Ah, I really do love the Face of Boe. Bless. I would hug him if I could. I think of strange and clever things when I'm bored, I would make a nice companion for The Doctor. 3nodding Yeah, the Face of Boe was cool, I wish there could have been more of him in the show.

woolie Wow. So very old he is. xD How did you figure it out? He was in the episode where Rose and The Doctor were in the year 5 billion and there was a brief mention of him when they were on satelite 5 in the year 200,000, I just took 5 billion and subtracted 200,00 from it and got his approximate age. Simple, really.

But...he died after the year 5 Billion/Apple/17. Apple could stand for pretty much anything, really...The Doctor's always a bit vague about things. And the 17 could be a "and add 17 to that" or "multiply that by 17" ::thinks about scientific notation::
I recently read a book called 'Elsewhere' where they counted their age by the amount of years they looked (they age backwards from however old they were when they got there) and the years they'd been there. For example, if they got to Elsewhere when they were 20, and were there for 6 years, they'd be 14-6. Very complicated. My point is this: Humans are notorious for changing the calender on a whim. Who's to say they didn't do that in 28447 or sommat?

I'm not saying any more in case you haven't seen that part of a certain episode.

It really should be 2,000 taken off. Not 200,000. Face of Boe had been around much longer than that. I'm not saying any more in case you haven't seen that part of a certain episode. Not to mention we have no idea how old Jack was before he got all immortal.
