Who: Edward Elric & Liliana
What: Edward's finally at full growth ^_^
Where: Trel's house in the woods north of Barton & West of Bass'ken Lake
When: 9 September 2007. Just before breakfast after a loooong night's sleep.
Why: Fun! ^_^

The day was drawing to a close. The sky filtering through the the windows was starting to pull a soft pink & red glow as the sun rose on the horizon. Two kitsu curled on a bed in one of the rooms of the house that looked a lot like a laboratory in some ways. Waking the crimson furred female looked at her companion and smiled, then tilted her head to nuzzle him just over his collar & below his chin in silence. He always slept so soundly. Her eyes softened and Liliana simply watched him sleeping. Soon the scents from the kitchen for breakfast would wake him. But she had this moment to watch him. She enjoyed those moments.

But was... something different? her eyes shifted curiously.

That was it... Edward looked uncomfortable. Liliana frowned the slightest bit, mostly at herself. That was it, wasn't it? He was usually comfortable... why would he be uncomfortable now?With the barest whimper of sympathy she curled around her mate, wings covering them.

At least, Lily tried to curl around him. Something was off. She did not fit around him like she normally would be able too. Not that she had much experience with the alchemist sleeping in this particular position, but she had always been able to curve a little around the slow growing male even when lying long beside him.

Green eyes flickered open, the last traces of sleep leaving them as they widened. She looked between them -back & forth, back & forth- an odd smile lighting her face. Then in a hushed whisper Liliana exclaimed "Edward! You've grown!"

She giggled. Liliana actually giggled. As he clutched his shoulder a pained look overcame the giddy laughter in her eyes and whining very faintly she nuzzled Edward. "I know... and believe me Rikku'd take no offense. It's not her specialty, though she loved working with it. She knows she's not as good as whoever made the one you were born with."

Then she kissed him, just before getting up and running happy, joyous circles around him on the bed. "But it's worth it, right? You're grown!! You're grown!! And..." Green eyes shining bright Liliana flopped in front of him so that their noses touched and their eyes faced each other. There was a slight happy breathlessness about her. "You're bigger than me!"

Her joy was immense. Liliana suspected how much her mate did not like being smaller than she was. Why... when they first became friends it had bothered him, and she had been a teen then while he was a kit. Now after so long...

Liliana was sure this would make him happy.

Her eyes danced happily to see him smile, laughing silently as the alchemist had to see for himself. It was just so...

The witch purred, snuggling into Edward's embrace. He was so... -nope... can't think about that right now; new automail first- wonderful. Liliana sighed happily. "I love you Edward..."

A bit later this was followed by another sigh, not as happy. "We should see about new automail for you now, shouldn't we?" Sympathy & concern were in her green eyes and wrapping her paws over his shoulders Lily pulled her mate closer. Burying her head in his neck she breathed in his scent before trying to smile. "Well, at least we're not far from Rikku here. I know she's not Winry, but... well at least she's done it before, right?"

Following him out the door, Liliana felt herself torn between anxiety/admiration for the way he hobbled on his own & ... admiring his fully grown body. Thank goodness for already red fur. Shutting the door behind them she glanced around the main room. Those around were either still asleep or intent upon the kitchen and the sounds within. Which -by the sound of it- had Ginny 'teaching' her daughters Cedrella & Lily Rose some basics of cooking. The Rikku Audio was no where to be seen, though Liliana did note the Voronwe Rikku prancing on her four paws near the kitchen door & peeking in curiously from time to time. Turning, the winged kitsu knocked on the door. "Rikku? Rikku are you there? It's Edward. He... grew." Both worry and delight were evident in that one word.

There was a sound of shuffling behind the door. A yip as it sounded like someone was pecked, then lots of loud not-quite-explictives followed by a soft croon from a female voice. The door opened revealing a smiling and slightly disheveled Rikku in a gossamer teddy of sunrise hues like her scarf. Behind her a slightly panicked Naruto looked like he had just pulling on a pair of blue boxers with green frog heads all over them while trying to keep a very irate blue hummingbird like creature away from his head in particular. "Good Morning!!" The audio Al Bhed chirped cheerfully, giving them a warm smile. The ninja however was fumbling from the door wide-eyed. "Gah! Rikku! I'm not dressed!" The bird attacking him stopped, seeming to be laughing. "Dressed enough, Ruto!! 'Sides, it's important!"

She smiled brightly at the kitsu then tilted her head, taking in Edward and his ill-fitting appendages. "Fayths! That looks painful. Can't have you hobbling around like that, all crooked like. You'll wanna be fixed up soon as possible, right?" Swirling green eyes flickered from Edward to Liliana and back again, her smile growing. Knowing snickers sounded in the main room -most of them from Relms. Similar sounds seemed to be coming from the doorframe, indicating that those stuck in their rooms while there was chatting through the door also heard and came to their own conclusions. Other reasons than relieving discomfort that fitting, working appendages would be wanted.

Oh... Lily knew why there was snickering. Yes... thank goodness for red fur. She winced as Edward yelled at her very extended family yet at the same time she was smiling, averting her eyes discretely so no one would see...

But they would know, and some would feel it.

Giggling, a Relm approached them from the kitchen. Her feathered tail was brushed with red & tipped with yellow & black henna markings circled both the length of her tail & decorated her large ears. Green eyes sparkled brighter than the green gem on her forehead. Her hand clutched that of a grinning Naruto of her own species who was laughing and poking fun at his counterpart behind Rikku. "It's not a bad laughter, little alchemist." Her eyes sparkled more, knowing she was pressing her luck teasing the fullmetal so yet not being able to restrain herself. "We're just very glad you & Lily will be joining our ranks soon." Winking she released her ninja's hand, tugging him behind her, yanking him closer by clasping the fabric of his pants on either side of his hips, then wrapping her hands behind them both to grab Naruto's posterior. He gave a surprised yelp before grinning impishly and tucking his head on her shoulder & wrapping his arms around the artist's bare middriff.

Rikku too was grinning, as her own Naruto after sticking his tongue our at the FTC (and at sometime managing to pull his orange pants over his boxers) & hugging his girl. "So of course we'll do this as soon as possible! Lemmie measure you so it can fit right... You can eat up & stuff while I put it together." Kissing Naruto on the cheek she wiggled out of his hold with a wink and got measuring equipment from the table. "Might go faster with Mirage, the other Rikku & the Zells..." The blonde Al Bhed muttered to herself.

Awww.... she had not gotten a rise out of him. The artist FTC hid her pout inside, instead deciding to respond to both Ed & audio Rikku at once. "Oh, they're here. Didn't you see Rikku over by the kitchen?" The audio female not even bothering to get changed out of her teddy measured the fullmetal's appendages and jotted the information down as Relm FTC spoke. "Everyone else is probably still in one of the rooms. So now that Rikku's measured you, we'll shut her in..." Which she was doing, Naruto snickering around her as she tried to do so while he would not let go. But it seemed like a game to them somehow, both anthro cats grinning. "And I'll fetch the others that'll be able to help her while you go fill your stomach so that maybe you'll be near food-coma state when it comes time."

The FTC had not been here the last time, but it was a Relm's perogative to learn everything she could about those around her... so the Relms knew as much as they possibly could.

Pulling her beau into the room with her, the precocious female winked. "And don't forget to relieve yourself before hand!" The door shut.

Liliana nuzzled Ed gently. "Don't take Relm too seriously... she loves to get a rise out of everyone..."
