It was a gloomy night. Inky gray clouds masked the sky, and poured down heavy rain on the land below. Harsh roaring winds ran throughout the area and lightning shot down from the sky. It was the first storm of the year in the area, and nearly all the animals animals were taking cover under shelter. Among these animals, there was little Kimya.
The pup was hidden in a small cave located in a cliff. When the storm had occured, she was on a night stroll. Now, she was too far away from home, so she took shelter in the cave. She was lying on her stomach, watching the rain dampen the red dirt. Her fur was soaked, and dripped onto the cave ground. Hopefully the rain would stop soon. Her mind soon began presenting her with the possible consequences that could happen to her. The rain could flood and drown her, lightning could strike her at any moment, the cave she's hiding could possibly be the home of a hungry beast, and so on. The more scary thoughts that came to mind, the more her heart sunk. How she wished she should've stayed at home sweet home!
