Kubwa sat nervously his aprehension apparent, he had called a sort of miniture pride meeting, asking his mother, father, and brother to come. He'd already brought his son, Tetemeko to the spot of the meeting. Of course it was his favorite climbing tree that he had chosen as a meeting place and he was sure the family knew of the location. Kubwa had been eating very little as of late, and only small bites in the morning so that he could come back to Tete in the afternoons; his slender pale form had grown much more thin because of his guilt.

Sighing he looked up into the branches and towards the sky, this tree had been the cause of most of his guilt, but also the cause of all of his truely happy memories. So it was fitting, that everyone he met he usually saw here at least once, and he planned to bring someone else here as well. AS he watched flashes of Tetemeko's, Wahabu's, Boma'burudi's, Mtima's, Janja's, and Kiasi's faces and smiles all flashed in and out of his thoughts. All very important lions in his life, his favorite lions he'd have to say. Even Kipanya's and his parent's faces entered his mind, even though he'd not actually met them here.

"Tetemeko, what are you thinking about?" he said trying to break the silence and lighten the mood before the other's arrived.

Every since his little chat with Sineri, and his meeting with Mvumo, Tetemeko had been meaning to talk to his father and he had never really gottent he chance to do so. No time ever seemed quite right for it, and as he sat there with his thin, pale father he couldn't help but go over the things in his mind. If they weren't waiting for everyone else, now would have been a perfect time. But Tete figured that was because they were waiting for them, and not doing anything else. He wanted to ask about his mother most, wanted the truth, just like he and Sin had decided they both wanted. He'd also been meaning to tell Kubwa that he'd met his grandfather, but he wasn't sure about that either.

All those things were on his mind, as well as his apprehension of seeing everyone all at once. He knew his grandparents, but he'd not met his uncle. Why had daddy called them all together? At least Tete knew (or thought) he had his father and grandfather on his side!

Tete was startled out of his thoughts when Kubwa asked what he was thinking, he hadn't realized he'd been staring off in the distance silently for several minutes now. "Um," he stammered, taking a moment to get his thoughts straightened out, "Nothing, daddy.. er- why are we here?"

A dark brown lion moved toward the grasslands, his mane no whiter than it had been in his younger days, before he had even thought about being a grandfather. Even now, it was difficult to believe that his children had cubs, for Mvumo still felt young and alive as he always had after meeting Aadil. Strange things were going on in the Pridelands, and some of those things had Mvumo very confused.

Yet now he knew the time was coming when all would be revealed; though he was angry at Kubwa for keeping Tete a secret, Mvumo did not let his movements betray that. He was as quiet and purposeful in his movements as he had always been. Besides, now was the time for learning the full truth about Kubwa's actions and the end results of those actions.

In the distance, Mvumo saw a pair of white lions by the familiar tree and moved toward them, knowing they were waiting for him to arrive. Still, he walked slowly, hoping Aadil would catch up with him before they arrived at the meeting spot.

Another dark brown lion was closer to the tree, though each step forward was a heavy burden to Kipanya. Today was the day he'd meet his nephew...today was the day he'd learn why he was needed still in the Pridelands. Kip's dreams of visiting distant lands were vanishing like a drop of water in the midday sun, and he could not help but be a tad bitter about it. Still, Kip was the responsible son, the very image of his father, and Pridelander he would stay for the rest of his life.

Kipanya got within talking distance of his brother and...his nephew? The cub did have a strong resemblance to Kubwa, especially with the dark brown eyes. Still, since Kubwa hadn't confirmed anything yet, and Kipanya was probably technically not supposed to know anything, he had to say, "Hello, Kub! Who is this that you have brought with you?"

Aadil had been a little more than angry about her son's plunder and when told there would be a chance to hear the explaination they all had hoped for she was eager to reach the meeting area. She was walking slowly behind Mvumo, tempted slightly to catch up to him and ask him his feelings, they had not talked about Kubwa because it seemed to upset her. More pressing things were on the light brown lioness' mind, she knew she was with child..and she needed to tell the boys in her life, the small hopes of a daughter were rolling around the back of her mind.

The grandmother cleared her throat noisly at seeing her spouse, if he wanted to talk he would slow and wait for her. Mvumo was her life, as were her sons and for a grandmother she was still as sharp as that fated day they met as well, she slightly younger than him and him older helping her find something to eat. Everything in her life was fate, and if Kubwa's son was apart of this..well..we shall see wont we?

"We're here, little man, because daddy did some things he should not have and he's got to sort things out," he thought for a moment what the anxious youth must be rolling in his mind, "And for the record, you have done nothing wrong, you are not a mistake, you are the best thing that's ever happened to me." Kubwa's chest swelled with pride thinking about how smart his son was, and how social, more than a father could ever hope for.

Kubwa's eyes switched from his young son to a familiar voice in the distance, "Kipanya!" Kubwa shouted excitedly, he had not seen his brother since after his meeting with Boma'burudi, "This is my son, Tetemeko," Kubwa beamed with pride. He may be nervous but bragging about one of the only good things in his life always made things better.

Tete listened anxiously to his father, still quite worried about what was going to happen and nervous to sudden be with everyone in his family all at once. It was so weird to go from having just daddy around, to suddenly having grandparents and an uncle. He visibly drooped when Kubwa said he'd done some things he shouldn't have, and needed to sort it all out- for the first thing to pop into his mind was, of course, himself. Even Kubwa's reassurances that he wasn't a mistake and was the best thing that happened to him, Tete didn't look too convinced. From his grandmother's reaction, it didn't sound so much like that..

When Kipanya showed up, Tete fought the urge to hide. Especially when it seemed like he didn't seem to know who Tete was- at least he seemed friendly enough. Tete stayed silent and only stared at his uncle, not realizing that he was being so rude.
