 The sun was high in the sky over head, and the cool shade of the tree felt wonderful against her fur. She yawned lazily and layed down under the swaying branches. Her stomach lately had become plump with the growing children inside of her, she could feel them kick on occasion and it caused her to chuckle now and then. How roudy would they be after they where born?
The mare daintily munched on a fallen apple and returned her thoughts to the lazy days of summer as it waned into autum. It had been awhile since she had seen Raum, and it occured to her that he didnt even know what had happened. That brought a pang of sadness to her chest, he had every right to know, even if he didnt want them.

Raum indeed had been gone for awhile but that was due to never knowing where Sierra might be so he had decided she would pop up when he lest expected it just liek the other times he had found her. ofcourse she had been on his mind, specialy after the last day he had saw her. little did he know that he was going to be in for a huge shock. the weather felt good, and he smirked as he figured Sierra was most likely enjoying herself. as he walked along, looking about, it really was funny how someone your thinking about can magicly appear. blinking he stared at sierra as he caught sight of her. " Sierra?!" was all he blurted out as he stood there, wondering how the hell she managed to pop up just when he been wonderign where she was and what she been up to.

velvet ears flicked forward as she heard her name called. "well speak of the devil." She muttered under her breath, it was interesting and silly at the same time. Her thoughts had turned to him and now he was here. Well the stallion did have a habit of turning up at random.
She smiled at him and made no effort to move from her spot in the shade, getting up was just too much of and effort in the heat of the day. "Hello Raum, I was just thinking about you." she said and laughed, one of the foals thought now would be a delightful time to move and kicked the side wall of her stomach causing her to grimace slightly. "ah." She recovered and looked over at him and feighed laugher. "Ahahaa.. funny how that happens."

Raum blinked as he watched her grimace slightly, wondering what would cause that as he stared at her as she feighed a laugh. " yes funny how things seem to work out." a raised brow, he now eyed her carefuly, finaly noticing the weight she had gained some how since the last he saw her but since he never been around or seen a preggors mare so he dismised it. not knowing what else to say at the moment, he went kind of silent because at the moment he wasnt going to mention the notice of her gained weight.

"Uh yeah...." She sighed and closed her amber eyes for a moment. Well he was going to notice anyway, and if he ran away now that was fine. She wasnt going to keep him chained down. "Raum?" She looked up at him again and took a deep breath slowly climbing to her hooves. It took more effort than normal, her enlarged stomach keeping her off balance. "I've got something to tell you"
She looked at him through a veil of dark locks that had fallen over her face. Sierra shook her head sending them to land back over her shoulders with a huff. "I'm Pregnate." she said softly.

Raum's eyes grew wide with shock at the news she just gave him. he wondered if she was jsut messign with him, to see what he would do but then it would explain why she had gained so much weight since the last he saw her. " ........your pregnate with my foals arent you?" ears flicked back, he had to make sure though deep down he knew they where his. a wide range of emotions hit him liek a brick walll as he stood there. he had done what he had promised himself would never happen to him, to have foals with a mare who wasnt his mate. a almost painned look was on his face as he looked her in the eyes, wondering now what he was going to do.

She wanted to laugh at his question, but she could tell he was already running through a wild range of emotion and now was not the time to poke fun. "Yes, Your foals." She said simply enough.
The mare took a few steps towards him but left him plenty of space. If he wanted to leave he was more than welcome to, neither one of them had expected this to happen. No commitment was agreed to, no pleges of love or divotion.

yes they had made no commitment to one another and had made no promises or anything. Raum took a deep breath to try to keep himself calm and collected. " how you can stand there so calm, knowing your carring my foals when we are not even together and if i wanted i could leave you to raise them on your own." he knew his father was going to kick his a** for having foals with a mare who he was not in a commitment with since his father had told him never to get close enough to a mare to end up having foals unless he was mated to that mare. his mother on the other hand he didnt know how she was goign to react to this at all and his siblings he didnt want to know their reactions. " aren't you at all upset or even scared?"

"i'm calm because I know I'll make it through it with or with out your Help Raum. " she said with a slightly baffled look. "I have no choice in the matter, I cannot run away from them. So I woll raise them, on my own if I have to. Yes it will be hard, but what in life that is worth doing is easy?" She raised her eyebrow as she looked at him and felt another small hoof kick against her side. "ah..."
"Besides, this was a possable outcome of what we did. It takes two Raum. I'm not going to hold you to anything if you dont want to, but if you walk out now I cant promise it will be as easy for you to come back to them when they are grown."
She sighed softly and shook her head, looking at him through amber eyes that still if only faintly, glittered with that glee. "Yes Im scared, yes Im upset. But thats life, and you have to roll with the punches."

Raum gave a sigh adn managed to stare her stright in the eyes. "i see, your right.... and would it make things a bit better that i can say in honesty that i wont leave you to raise the foals on your own." he closed the distance between them as he contiuned to speak. " my father made the mistake of never being there for me and my siblings and i have no plans to make the same mistake he did, as i had made myself a promise i wouldn't." placing his muzzle up against hers, he may had been acting weird over the whole thing but his world had come crashing down when he found that he had foals with someone he wasnt commited to in anyway.

"If you want to stay then you are welcome to. I wont lie when I say I will need your help. But I dont want you to do it if you are only doing it to save face. I want you to do it because it is what you wish, really and truely deep down." She said, looking at him as he stepped closer. His muzzle was warm against her own, and his scent was wild and had the aura of faint pine needles of the forest.

"trust me i want to and as i said i don't want to make the same mistake my own father did." Raum did want to be there and to helpwith the foals since they where his foals after all. giving her a quick nuzze, he moved to nose at her large belly that held the foals that would be born. " all i can say is my mother will be wondering how we both got so close and ended up with foals, yet are not together, while most likely my father wont be too pleased."

Sierra turned to face him as he moved around to inspect her swollen stomach. "I'm not worried about that, things happen. Besides, how do you think my Parents will Fair?" she laughed and gave a little nicker. "they are already Grandparents by my older sister, whom is also mateless. I suppose it runs in the family." She realised how bad that made her sounds and smirked a bit. "Wild and crazy girls... although Kitara managed to gether heart wounded in the process... I dont think she's thought of another stallion..." She mused to herself and gave a small shrug, that was Kitara's problem, not her own.

Raum chuckled and moved to face her again after a moment of nosign at her swollen belly. " i think i got it worse, my father just might beat me to a pulp for this one. my parents where never together and on top of it my mother was mated to someone else who my father hated when my mother ended up having me and my siblings." it wasnt something he told anyone because hehated the fact it was how his family was. " i think i have grown too attached to you to ever leave now, and specialy now with foals on the way."

Sierra nodded softly, the tone of his voice was as if he was just telling a story but given that Raum was....Raum. She knew this was a personal matter and that he was only sharing it with her because she had grown close to him. Given their situation she at lest hoped so. "I see...Well I can imagine why that would be hard for everyone involved and even harder for you and your siblings. But I'm not mated, I'm a free mare and You're a free stallion, its not as bad as it was with your parents Raum." She said softly.
His last statment made her freeze, she stared at him with amber eyes. Blinked softly and remained silent. The great and powerful loaner stallion, with walls so high no mare could ever think of touching him, but lest getting close enough for the time of day. "What do you mean by that?" she asked, no more joking, no more kidding. She was truely perplexed by this. This was not the Raum she knew.
