The poll is asking how many manga series do you follow at a time, like read but over a period of time. You know what I mean (I hope).

I usually follow 3-5 series at a time with my own money. But if friends have series and let me borrow them, then the number is much greater than that...
Otherwise it's too expensive. I'm surprised I follow as many as I do...
Hmm, maybe it's only two (based on my actual purchasing). But the number is not very large. If I were to count what I don't buy, the number is higher (10?).

A lot? Truthfully I don't know. Once I start collecting a serires I keep on buying it. I have a good memory, and there is only one series where I had to go back and reread the previous book to remember what happened (only because the main characters disappeared). So I have about . . . 20 unfinised manga series. Naturally they don't come out all at once . . . but yeah . . .

I buy an awful lot of series, and I have trouble remembering how many I'm following. I gave a nice, rough estimate at 6 - 10.

It's difficult to follow a lot of series at one time, IMO...
There's usually some time to wait between releases of new tankoubon or chapters of the series I like, so its a nice easy-going pace...
At the moment, the only series I really devoutly follow are Eyeshield 21, D. Gray-man, DOGS and Aku Saga...

I voted 6-10, but it's probably a lot more. There isn't a single manga on my shelf that is finished. gonk
And only one anime series, not counting movies. 'Tis the downside to having a taste for varied anime . . . you cover so many styles, but you never end up finishing them. sweatdrop

I follow several.... Dnangel, FMA, Gunslinger Girl, Prince of Tennis, MegaMan sweatdrop , Case Closed.... And Megatokyo, which I guess you could call a manga...
