I thought to myself they must be making something brilliant and amazing with the ammount of time they are taking to release the special item for those people who stayed on for hours to get gaia over the 100k in members i thought they would be making something with would blow us all away to the point of wowness [i know im weird blame caffine] An i log on tonight to find the item has been released [wowzer im off when one is released foe once] so my itching finger click the announcement box all excited to be greeted by a watermelon hat eek wtf is a watermelon hat and why would we want to wear one, another balloon or tshirt would have been better than this sad
ah its free so cannot complain too much but id look like a spaztic with it on. sad

+ Discuss if the creators losing the plot?

I must admit, I had a '???' moment when I saw what it was. For such a big achievement the item doesn't quite seem to meet the means. I'll give them points on originality and randomness, but not on much else. But like you said, it IS free, so better than nothing I guess.

Yeah it does suck bigtime i was excited kinda sad really and then when i saw it boy what a let down... sad why couldnt they do something like a hat with something on the top like a 100k thingy or something [that] would have been better than this piece of junk [kicks]

I had a moment when i first saw what it was where i just stared at the screen. Not even WTF or anything like that just like "really?" I dont know like you said the grandness (or not so grandness) of the item doesnt seem to really match the occasion.
