Mweeho A private arpee between Andie-Loafs and myself ~ if you'd like'a to join, please slip either of us a PM asking, yes? ;D He had phoned Alek in hopes of seeing the lovely male again - though leaving a message of which supplied date, time, and place didn't indicate that his canine was going to show. Was he perhaps angry with Nagendra? The wolf wasn't certain - or rather, he wasn't certain whether or not he had done something that deserved some sort of punishment as being ignored. Though perhaps he was overdoing it... perhaps he really wasn't being ignored... perhaps Aleksandir simply didn't have the time to call him. Or perhaps Aleksandir did call him and no one informed Nagendra of said calls.
Either way, he wasn't certain... the only thing he was certain was that he should wait here - just wait - he was certain Aleksandir would come if he got the message.
The two words repeated themselves in his head numerous times: wait here, wait here, wait here, wait here...
Though he'd rather wait here on his own..."Do you think I should clip my talons?" Chimalsi wiggled his foot in the wolf anthro's direction, eyes curious as a newborn kitten's. Nagendra made no reply to the inquiry, simply kept his golden eyes upon the table in worriment. Why did Jamie insist the raptor tag along...? Perhaps it was because Nagendra had been ridiculously sick as of late due to his concern over this entire predicament - Jamie was as much a worrywart as himself... then, maybe not - Jamie didn't get himself sick with the entire thing. Why hadn't he talked to Alek in so lo-
"Yeah, you're right - they're perfect as they are ~ just like everything else on my wonderful, wonderful body - hmm?" he didn't mind that his thoughts were interrupted... but by this?

The onyx-skinned, red-headed, green-eyed wolf had been a lot busier than he had ever wanted to be, but he had done it to please those that he lived with... even if he wasn't quite as content as he usually was in doing so. Going on a trip with Elijah was not what he had in mind, and yet he was guilted into going by the fox's sad, puppy-doggish pouting face, and big, full brown eyes. Damnit, sometimes he just absolutely hated his need to please others.
It wasn't until just now that he realized his phone was alerting him that he had voice mail. Keeping a careful eye on the road, Aleksandir reached into his pocket and gently pulled the phone out, flipping it open before dialing up his voice mail. Of course, he was courteous enough to pull over into a parking lot just to do so. He didn't want to get into any sort of accident. Sighing lightly, the wolf ran a hand through his light curls, and waited, pressing the correct buttons when his phone directed him to do so.
The moment he heard Nagendra's voice, he insantly perked up, ears lifting. "Hello?" he responded hastily, and very eagerly, before he slumped back in his seat when he remembered that it was voice mail. Nagendra wasn't actually on the other line speaking to him directly, not at this moment. But the news of the message caused his brilliant green eyes to light up, and he immediately hung up the phone, and dropped it into the seat beside him, his eyes narrowing just slightly in determination to meet up with Nagendra in time. Alek just hoped he wasn't too late..
An item being dropped carelessly into his lap made the fox's gorgeous brown eyes pop wide open, waking him with a start. This caused him to grab hold of the dashboard with one hand, and grab the 'oh s**t' bar with the other, gasping violently. Glancing down towards his lap, Elijah's ears flicked and he frowned towards the driver. "Heeeey, Alek, try to be a little less reckless, will you? I mean, I was sleeping for crying out loud, and you just throw your phone at me to wake me up, and-- hey. Where are we going?"
Wide brown eyes stared out the window, his face mere inches away from the glass, brows lifting and pressing together on his forehead. "Alek, you realize that this infact is not the way home? This is completely wrong. We should be going in that direction," he stated bluntly, looking towards the wolf as he pointed a finger out his window. "Right there, right there, right the-- aaaaand you passed the street. That's okay. Don't worry, we can turn on this one... or not. Are you that tired, do you need me to drive?"
Sighing heavily, the fox waited, growing more irritated at his companion's silence and refusal to either answer him, or turn down a correct street so that they could finally get home. All the travelling and excitement had wore him out! He wanted to take a shower in his bathroom, and lay down in his own bed. Sleeping in motels was just... so creepy. Germs everywhere, he could still feel them crawling on his skin, even after taking five showers in the morning, five in the afternoon, and five at night.
"There, or there, or there, or there, or there. That one, or that one, or that one, or that one," he repeated through clenched teeth, pointing his finger and narrowing his eyes as he stared out the window, trying his hardest to direct this rude driver to take one of the right streets that would eventually lead them towards home. "Okay, Alek, seriously. What are you trying to do to me? What, do you want me to go crazy or something?" Elijah's eyes widened and he immediately stopped talking and simply stared towards Aleksandir when his only reply was a side-ways glare and a very sharp 'shut the hell up.' Well... that was certainly new, and the fox couldn't say he cared for the wolf's tone.

He had been biting his nails again - a terrible habit that the canine definitely needed to quit. He wondered, was there rehab for nail-biting...? He would have to ask Eridanus about it later - the feline would certainly have the accurate information. This entire waiting ordeal had gone on for quite some time, hadn't it? A portion of him wanted so badly to request Chimalsi to carry him home considering...
They'd been here for hours...
"We've been here for hours, Nagendra..." Chimalsi moaned in displeasure. Well, he was certainly Captain Obvious, the wolf noted mentally.
"I know Chi..." Nag murmured the reply tenderly, "But I can't just leave... what if he comes and I'm not here...?"
"I doubt 'he's' coming if 'he' hasn't already..." the raptor replied thoughtfully, examining his talons for a second time. "Geez - this is about as interesting as a block of wood. At least do me a little favor and pick your nose or something to entertain me... that way I can say: 'AHA! Nose-Picker!' and you can yelp like a kicked puppy in mortification, and then everyone's happy..."
"... How would that make me happy exactly...?"
"... Because I'm happy, and you're happy that I'm happy because I'm the only important person in this room considering my utter gorgeousness."
He offered the raptor a defeated grin, ears flattened somewhat. This wasn't fair to Chimalsi, he realized suddenly.
"... We can go, Chi..." he decided finally, sighing the words in complete disappointment. "Aleksandir may be busy tonight..."
"Denial is a terrible, terrible thing Naggers ~ just face that horrendous truth, it won't hurt that much."
"What exactly is that supposed to mean...?"
