Habu was having a horrible night, he was almost sure he was getting to a point where his body was going to force him to sleep, just shut down on him. Of course, that was mostly due to the fact he was tired, stressed and it was the middle of the night. Tonight seemed to be a particularly bad night for sleep, as his dreams consisted of a constant barrage of senseless images, sounds, feelings.. what little sleep he managed was uncomfortable and left him feeling almost more tired than when he first went to sleep. It wasn't long into the night before Habu decided he didn't want to bother his family, and got up and left the den. He would go try to sleep elsewhere, or go and try to relax a little bit. Like the night he'd met Jinamizi, that hadn't been so bad.
When he found a comfortable spot to rest, Habu flopped over and furiously tried to think of how he was to fix this. It just wasn't stopping now. He thought bitterly about how his mother might have been able to help him if she hadn't run away on them like she did, she had all the answers- or so he thought. A cool breeze fluttered the feather tucked behind his ear, reminding him of it's presence and the god who had given it to him. He remembered being told he could call for him, if he needed him. Habu wondered if K'A could help him, and then had to wonder if calling would work for his mother- but quickly decided even if it would work, she probably wouldn't come.
Maybe K'A would be able to help him. If not, it wouldn't be horrible to see him. But would he be asleep at night? And how on earth was Habu supposed to call him exactly?
"K'A?" he called out hesitantly, and took a moment to try to remember the god's full name and decide if he really wanted to bother him, "K- K'Anatak!"

K'Anatak was under the shade of a tree, black eyes up towards the sky, fixated on the stars, "I wonder if she's looking at the same stars I am," his eyes focused on one that shown brightly then hte rest and had a hint of yellow amongst its flickering light...
He missed her so.
Perhaps it was fate that was making him unable to find her, making his own diety turn on him of self reflection, he thought he had done it enough, but evidently not, he only wished to find her and say how sorry he was to see if there was anything he could do to make it up to the goddess of love who had stolen his heart away with her gentle voice and warm simplistic smile.
He felt a tugging then, coud almost hear a voice, his eyes turned and fell on the nearly black image of Pride Rock not that far away, he was near the outskirts afterall, a tugging, a voice, a tingle in his wing where a feather was lost, missing, though given away.
Wahabu.
With that thought he took to the sky in an instant, his white form clad against the black canvas sky as he ventured over the borders in search of a friend he had not seen in so long.

In his sleepiness, Habu wasn't entirely sure what to expect but he'd almost hoped the god would simply just pop up before him. When that did not happen, the young lion sighed and tried to think of other ideas. His eyes were looking out to the distance pridelands, beyond Pride Rock, off to no where in particular that he was aware of. Even if K'A had come into view, he wouldn't have noticed. Had Wahabu been thinking, or even a little more awake, he would have realized he should watch the sky.
For now, he was forced to content himself with laying around peacefully. He was thankful that his visions had not wandered into the times when he was awake, if he started having random trances during his time awake he was almost positive he would lose his mind once and for all.

Something stood out against the blackness of the night, though as faint as it was against the black shadows K'Anatak could see it as well as he could, black eyes seeing something faintly yellow mixed in with the grays of the night air. "Habu?" he called in the night, waiting for a response, and then landed upon the ground with a thump.
"Habu?" he wasn't sure if the now adult pridelander could see him amongst the black, it still might be hard.

Habu almost had let himself drift back off to sleep again, but was interrupted when he heard the faint sound of someone calling out his name. Light sleep was all he could get without having visions, and it was so easily interrupted. When the call came a second time, he looked all around him, suddenly feeling more alert. Had K'A come, after all? It took him an extraordinary amount of time to look up, where he should have been looking the whole time. He was very tired, and it was night, after all!
"K'A?" he called back, stopping.. something, but not sure.

K'Anatak gave a chuckle at the sound of Wahabu's unsure voice, he had called him after all, did he really think that he, K'Anatak, would not come for his friend? "Behind you," he said with another chuckle, coming closer, almost close enough to touch his outstretched wings to the yellow adult. "You called, so I am here, are you alright?" he asked concerned.
He never thought Habu would call truly, not that he wouldn't come.
"Are you alright?"

Startled, Habu got back up to this feet when a voice he knew to be K'A's was suddenly behind him. He turned right around, and immediately looked a lot happier than he had in a little while. It was hard to miss how tired he was, it showed in his eyes and how he looked rather fuzzy at the moment from being so restless and not putting so much conscious effort into grooming.
"K'A, I didn't think you'd hear me," he mumbled, and when asked if he was alright, he remembered why exactly he'd called for his friend. Suddenly Wahabu was a little ashamed he hadn't done so for merely social reasons, but he didn't know who else to ask.
"Well- I- I didn't know who else to talk to," Habu said finally, hoping to explain why he'd called so late in the night. He really, really hoped he hadn't interrupted anything important.

"Why would you think I would not hear you?" he questioned with a chuckle, making a motion to the feather that hung from Wahabu's ear, he still remembered the day he gave that to him, "I'm not that far away, remember?" He could ahve taken a moment to explain the connection between him and the feature, though something seemed to be troubling the yellow pelted lion.
"Talk about what? You can tell be Habu, then I can see what I can do to help," he wanted Wahabu to know that he didn't have to keep secrets, that he, K'Anatak, could help if only Habu allowed.

In his fatigue, when K'A pointed out their direct connection to each other and a good reason why he'd always hear a call out to him, Wahabu did not notice that the god pointed out his feather. He hardly realized that he meant anything other than physically being nearby all the time. His mind was more one-tracked in the late night, especially when he was so tired. He bit his lip hesitantly as he thought about how to explain.
"I- I'm a seer, you probably know what that is," he started without any further hestiation. He had no reason to expect K'A would think he was crazy, he was a god and gods knew these things! Just like his mother had.
"When I was little, I only ever had the occassional dream, and it was fairly straightforward dreams. A little more detailed than the usual, but not anything.. like this. Since I really figured all this out, the visions just haven't stopped," he said, his voice slowly spiraling into a whine. Habu had to take a moment to fix this problem, "And they're not so simple anymore, it's a big jumble of a whole bunch of things all at once. Some of makes no sense whatsover, some of it is glimpses of lions I know- and sometimes will know, it's happened three times now.
"Almost every time I fall asleep, it happens," he continued glumly, getting to the conclusion of his story now, "I can't get any sleep, I don't know what to do- how can I make it stop?" Wahabu easily looked the part of sleepless lion, and he looked hopefully at K'A with his tired eyes.

K'Anatak flicked his ears momentarily as if to hone in more on the tone of Wahabu's voice, to commit the words to memory and sort them into what place necessary, what words stood out and were deemed troublesome to Habu's young, well, young adult mind. "I see," a seer, really? Then Wahabu and he had something in common, a slight touch of a power gifted to those few in number.
More connected as friends it seemed, so fate had brought them that way.
"Has something happened lately Wahabu? Or something that happened when you were young and seems to trouble you mores o now? I can help, but it'd be better to know if something is troubling to you, so that if I do meddle, and help you reflect upon such a thing, it will be easier to cope with my friend."

Even if Habu had something he'd been dwelling on, or wanted to think of something specific, he didn't have the energy. He did, however, have the energy to babble about everything that had been happening with him lately.
"I don't think so, it's just gotten worse and worse since I met Trig and Kinari," he explained sadly before he continued to explain some of what had happened, "A lot has happened lately, but it started before it.. my mother left, my dad doesn't talk to me much anymore, he has a mate, a new daughter, I have cousins, an aunt, my sister is back in the Pridelands.."
He looked up hopefully. Habu might have been tired, but he still realized that K'A might pick up on something he didn't.

K'Anatak had seemed to find a reason already without knowing the extreme details of what was happening around him. "You feel left behind, left out, don't you Habu?" he asked sincerely, he knew the feeling, no being involved in something, he never really had a family but Habu seemed to be taking to absence of his mother and his father moving on, a new daughter, quite hard.
"Are you worried, about your sister being back as well?"

When K'A asked if Habu was feeling left out, the lion felt his stomach drop. Was it really that simple, that obvious? He'd been so overwhelmed with everything that was happening, and so frustrated by his dreams and visions, he hadn't really thought about it like that. Now that someone said it, though..
Kizamaji had been kind enough to introduce him to Sheshe, but that was at the last moment, after she'd been invited to live with them. Sheshe was the only one who'd been honest with him from the start, and he had to credit her for that one. His mother had left without even telling him, without saying goodbye. He had a new little sister, and he'd had to figure that that was happening on his own..
When K'A asked about his sister, Habu looked to his friend's paws. His sister was different, swore she'd changed- she'd even been tearful when he was being so mean to her.. but he was skeptical, unforgiving. And he felt bad about that. At first, he didn't really respond to K'A's suggestions, but then found the will to nod. K'A picked up on it so easily, or part of it.. but would this help his visions stop?

K'Anatak watched Wahabu, gave a nod to him in understanding, and an idea came to mind. If K'Anatak wasn't with his friend all the time, especially while he slept during the night, then perhaps if Wahabu knew there was a part of him with him, Wahabu, on his own, in his dreams, could reflect upon himself by himself and come to understand whats wrong, and face it.
It could work.
"At many points in your life you'll feel a rush of emotions and stress, and you can feel lost. However Wahabu, there are ways to help you, that I can try, though I believe you can find the answers on your own, with slight help of me of course. The feather I gave you, is still linked to me, the next time you sleep, ay your head on it, and rest at ease, perhaps then in your visions, you'll be able to piece together what might be broken apart, and hard for you to defier."

Habu was staring down at K'A's feet as the god watched him, he only saw the nod out of his peripheral vision but was comforted by the mere presence and seeming understanding of his friend. He hadn't seen K'A much, and since he was a god Habu couldn't help but feel somehow more comforted, it was almost like there was somehow a connection with his mother. Though he knew that was ridiculous, though they had met before.
He looked up when K'A suggested using the feather as a sleep aid, as some sort of security blanket..
"That could work," he murmured, feeling like he was willing to try anything at this point, "Have you heard of something like that working before?"
