The continent of Gradeon and its neighbor Cendrous sit proundly where the prime maridian crosses the equiater. both have long since lived in peace, content with there land but, Gradeon's other neighbor, Caucasia, a moutainous kingdom filled with pirates and brigands was not. Caucasia had been eyeing Gradeon for many decades, lucky the large Nezer Sea seperated them. But when the King of Caucasis was assasinated an anoynamous 'tip' pointed the dirty finger at Gradeon. Taking their opponent lightly they decided to take a land-based tactic (instead of their seemingly endless navy) and cross the Nezer Bridge; a mile wide, rock bridge, that connents the two countries. The flame of war was lit and Gradeon, armyless and navyless, began to work from scratch, fispatching the royal gaurd to build an army from scratch to fight the 5000 man first wave. Men devoted to the way of the warrior emmeged from the corners of Gradeon some legends long thought dead, some unknown pioneers. a mere 1000 men gathered at Aqua Gate (a fortress constructed the only marchable entrance to gradeon; a bottle neck pass with many slopes.)
Our roleplay takes place on the night when the torches of the Caucese war camp can first be seen.

Skills: Swordfighting, intermediate wind, fire, and water magic, martial arts, highly advanced shadow and beginner white magic.
Apperance: Spikey brown Hair and battered green cloak, a long-sleeved black tunic, emerald breastplate and gauntlets, red cotton pants tucked into green metal boots and piercing Crimson eyes.
Personality: Battle freak, friendly, set on percefting the arts of combat, some-what evilish when he gets serious in battle

Appearance: long brown hair and deep brown eyes. Wears dark baggy pants that hides twin daggers and can be turned into shorts when needed, a navy tunic with silver embroidery of dragons along the hem, and a black cloak with the same silverdragon embriodery.
Personality: Cynicle, kind, and hot tempered, when Yuuki gets angry, she tends to go all out crazy. She didn't want to fight in the war, but when soldiers found her slaughtering the murderer of her dead parents, they wanted her strength to help fight the war.

Cotasho sat perched on a barrel on the ramparts, his heart quivering with excitement that strected out before. He couldn't help but bellow out a laugh, "Mahahahahahahaha!!! I didn't think they'd send so many! Isn't this great!" he said to a man in chain armor who stood shaking in his boots, "Are you bloody INSANE?!" he yelled "we're deadmen!". Cotasho gave the look you gave a child who had stolen a cookie, "Now, now! how can you excpect to fight in a five-to-one fight when you're thinking like that?"

The man began to shake violently and fainted, falling off the ramparts, "Damn... now what's the ratio"
He had spikey brown hair and a long green cloak (like for my avatar) and an emerald breastplate, gauntlets overtop a black longsleeve tunic and green metal boots with red cotton pants tucked into them. His crimson eyes moved around scanning the starspeckled void, caculating the man-to-man ratio for 999 to 5000. He strapped two belts around his waist, each carrying a sword and pulled his hood over his head, obsuring his face. "Damn i hate mathematics" he mumbled as he restarted his rounds.

Cotasho past a half dozen heads on pikes on the way to the chow hall. Caucese were good scouters but some of the warriors here were better. He walked into a massive tent that was buzzing with life. He took a seat at a deserted table and asked for some saki, of course they didn't have any so he went with some White Lightining.

Cotasho wulffed down the jug and shakely rose from the seat. he strode out of the tent and walked towards the wall of the pass. he walked into a small openings that opened into a large carvern with five tunnels and brightly lit by torches. He took the far right one and walked into pitch darkness. suddenly a electric blue light hit his eyes and the din of a waterfall filled his ears. the room was barely visible in the light blue light. A waterfall poured into a five foot pool with a piller in the center of the waterfall that barely broke the surface. Although the pool had no outlet it never overflowed.

Cotasho threw off his cloak and stripped his armor,boots, and swords. The air about him changed as he cleared his mind and focused on nothing. He walked as if entranced on to the water. Instead of giving way, the water supported him. He walked to the pillar where the water fell and sat down in its center. The water curved around him like it was hitting an invisible shield.

He focused on the water around him and it began to swirl, faster , faster. Two Pillars rose on his left and right. They shook ominously but did not fall. The bases cut themseves off from the body of water and fromed a halo around the water fall.

Yuuki stood from the battlements, safely out of range. Beside her were soldiers who, like many, moaned on why they were so stupid to join the army. "I should have been a carpenter like my 'ma told me to, then I wouldn't be living on these darned war rations." One soldier loudly announced. Yuuki shot a glare at him. "It doesn't matter now, we're doing this to fight for our homes, and our future." She cooly said, then walked away, her black cloaking swishing in the wind. She started remembering her parents, and clenched her hands angrily, till her fingernails dug into the soft skin of her palm.

the smell of blood filled his nostrils, sending him over the edge. The water burst as if breaking a dam and rushed though the caverns and shooting out the mouth of the cavern, swoodhing Cotasho with it. He layed soaked on his back lucky engough to have grabbed his belongings in the wave

Yuuki suddenly sensed a large presence of water rushing near. "Oh no, it's the underwater pool, somebody must be tampering with it." She rushed out of the battle ments and started running towards the wall of the pass. She walked into a small opening that normally opened to a large space, with 5 tunnels and lit with torches. But instead, she was greeted with a huge pool of water and what seemed to be a soaking wet Cotasho laying on the ground. "Oi Cotasho, what happened!" Yuuki demanded, concentrating for a few seconds and started walking on the water, instead of splashing around. She approached Cotasho.

Cotasho gave a nervous laugh as he emotied his boots of water, "Heh, i was uh practin' my water magic and, uh, i was doin some advance stuff... then i dtarted thinking about the battle." the excitment in his voice intensified, "And the smoke, and sounds of steel, and the blood of my enemies!" some miniature pillars began to rise from puddles but Cotasho caught himslef and they dispersed, "So... yeah..." he gathered his stuff. "Im gonna go dry these off, maby make some real food too, but don't tell 'Chef' Lenny that" he said hushedly

Yuuki stared blankly and shook her head with distaste when Cotasho got excited. "I can't see how you like fighting so much, it makes me sick when I think of all the people I killed." Yuuki shuddered slightly, remembering the nightmare she had last night, she shuffled her feet on the water."Chef Lenny's apprentice smuggled some sweets, I managed to swipe some. Go see him if you're feeling a sweet tooth. He's a good lad, he'll share." Then Yuuki pointed to the flooded cavern. "So what do we do with this? Should we sneak away quietly or fix it?"
