Hi everyone, Well I havent posted in here that frequently, but my fiance Jeff owns the Weight For Me Guild. Basically, I have a bit of a problem, and some advice or tips would be helpful if anyone wouldn't mind sharing them with me.
I went to the doctors today, to get my contraceptive pill renewed. With my pill, it is high risk of clotting, so he has to take my blood pressure etc every time. Well this time, he asked to measure my height and weight.
I stood on the scales, and he took my weight down. Then he measured me.
I have a curve in my spine, and was once 5"6' tall....Today I stand at 5"5 and a tiny amount.
We have previously discussed a breast reduction, as mine are very big for my short frame. They basically pull me forward and are pretty much the cause of my back problems, however I refused to have it done because I want to breastfeed my children, and do not want to even run the risk of losing that chance.
He has told me that I need to lose weight, around 3 stones.....so about 43kg. I hate dieting, I like being curvy.
If I dont lose weight then I could end up with severe back problems. Also, If I were to fall pregnant in about 10 years time if i stay like this, it could be a problem for me to carry my baby to term with my back.
I would like to know, what diets could i try which allow me to eat good size meals, ones which would fill me up well.
Also, what kind of exercise would you recommend? I am unfit as hell! I need something gentle but effective for now. To break me into the regime.
Thanks for reading this heart

I find if you want to lose at a healthy rate join Weight Watchers. It is a good program and they are really supportive. Also they start you off slow according to your size. If you go by the point system you can have whatever you want but everything has a point value. Like you can have that slice of cake if you really want it just as long as you mark it down (They give you a nice little food journal) and total your points...it's really easier then it seems. 3nodding About your back, I think maybe your back should be more important then nursing, why hurt yourself or possibly cripple yourself when there is a safer alternative? And you do want to be able to walk and play with your baby when you have one, don't you? And as far as excersising I think your best bet would be to start walking a mile or so a day...it's easy and it is good for weight loss and your heart. heart I hope I helped. biggrin

You could try using some other contraceptive methods to avoid blood pressure problems. For weight loss, I suggest using some vegetarian stuff. Veggie burgers with mayonaise, BBQ sauce, and tomatoes, the former two swirled together, the tomato slices forming a barrrier to keep the sauce from soaking into the bun, those are great.
