Lazing about in the middle of the mini war, the largest group watched the progress of the children and dragons. One of the coppers perked up as they grew nearer. "Oooh! Are they bringing us our food? It's almost mealtime, isn't it?"

"Shush, you."
One of the amphiteres spoke up. "It's grooming time, obviously. Do you see any sheep with them?"

"No, they've come to tell us that they've kicked the brasses and all those other dragons out of here!"
Said a grinning blue dragon.

Ter slithered along towards the group he was told he was to deal with, he took them and was a bit unsure about what he was supposed to do with them exactly. They were speaking of food, grooming, and other nonsense as if it weren't a potential battle ground they were standing on. It was like the eye of a storm, some sort of strange calm amongst a whirlwind of excitement. This was strange... and stupid. Why was it that he was put here with a bunch that didn't care what was going on and a weakling like his brother was went to stand against the black female? Surely this was foolishness at its highest caliber, Ligeia was going to get himself eaten and here he was standing here...

He shook his head. No, he was supposed to help by talk with this group and he would damn well do his best in the task assigned to him, couldn't go looking bad in front of those that were sent in the same direction as him right?.

"So... I am guessing from your lack of growling that your aren't exactly rearing to get back into the great outdoors?" Ter asked of them, tilting his head to the side. He flicked his tongue out over one of his two lip piercings as he regarded them, "Any idea what the difference between you and that one are?" He motioned with a thumb over his shoulder at the pissed off looking black dragon.

Surely there had to be something that built up to this, one things couldn't start a war without there being a lot of stuff piled up already?

Baroness walked over and sat down on her haunches looking over the bigger dragons, there was a blue, a copper, and a rather strange looking serpent with feathers... she swished her tail back and forth, disapointed. She'd hoped to talk with some of the wyverns they sounded like a bit of fun, all for a battle it sounded like. She wondered for an idle moment if that were why she was sent over here. Enough trouble was brewing that they didn't want to throw in those that may encourage fighting with those that wanted a fight. She looked at Ter and then back to the dragons, she wasn't interested in fighting if her boy was caught up in it. He could hold his own in a fight with things his size not with things the size of the adult dragons.

She would keep an eye on things, "Blacks are tempermental. No talking to them." She complained, not that Ter could understand her luckily. She could complain all she wanted about that type, she'd been in a tussle with one and was still grouchy over it. Stupid Keir...

Sending Fleur to the group with the amphiteres was a very bad idea. As soon as he stopped in front of the group, the skunk was frozen in place, staring up at the most vibrant of the dragons with his blue eyes wide in wonderment. He had no idea such a dragon existed, and seeing one this up close had shocked him nearly speechless, completely throwing out of his mind why he was here.

Argent tugged on his skirt desperately to try to get his attention, hoping beyond hope that she could tear his attention off of the bright dragon in front of him before he said something stupid. Please, oh please don't stay something stu-

"You're...gorgeous," Fleur drawled up at the dragon, completely oblivious to the way Argent whined behind him and tried to shamefully hide herself under her wings.

Poor Argent.

Poor Cleo.

The little goldcrest didn't have the patience to deal with her stupid little dragon most of the time. While her outter shell was that of a cute, adorable little thing, she had the temper of a snake. It was why her sister liked her so much, anyway. SHe didn't mind.

Cleo rarely did. That was until Shilling did something STUPID. Now, stupid by definition was a varient thing. With Shilling, it was rather obvious. Stupid with Shilling meant he would dive bomb something he saw was PRETTY and chat his a** off.

Like now.

Cleo made a grab for the vibrant golden dragon, she even gave a little 'yelp!' as he jumped but she couldn't grab at him. Oh, no. The sleek gold thing bounced towards the pretty blue dragons, wriggling happily.

SHINY. He announced victoriously, beaming up at the dragon in question. His mortal groaned, scrambling over to grab Shilling around the shoulders. She was able to drag him back, curls askew and her cheeks going red.

"So why is the black dragon being such a bi--" Cleo paused, a frown on her lip as she curved her tongue. Cute and cheerful. CUTE AND CHEERFUL. Her face morphed into a cute smile, glancing over her shoulder after Ter. "Why is she all snarly?"

The dragons all started to preen as their appearance was commented upon. Especially the amphiteres, who smoothed their feathers to look even more beautiful than they already were. One of the coppers took it upon himself to answer the children's questions as the rest of the group was too absorbed in themselves. "She's not happy because she got in trouble. It's not like it's a bid deal or anything. But nooooooo she has to get all huffed up about it all..."

Ter's yellow eyes got a bit wide with surprise, "Wait... what?" He lifted a scaled hand to his mouth in an attempt to keep from laughing, "So your telling me she is doing all this because she got in trouble? I'm curious and have to know, what did she do that would get her yelled at?" This was almost amusing really, well aside from the everyone being in danger because of the rebellion thing at least. Girls were troublesome no matter what race they were, weren't they?

"She reminds me of him." Baroness muttered, looking at her boy. Whenever he got in trouble he made a big deal out of it before he snuck out of the house to show that his father had no power over him. How foolish. She looked over to the preening dragons before she rolled her eyes.

Ter glanced at Baroness wondering at what she'd just said but she was to busy looking around at the moment.

The copper gave a nod. "Yes. She got in trouble because one of her offspring was half-black and half-green. We're not supposed to do that, but it didn't stop her..."

Ter shifted his coils so that he could lounge against them, thinking on the information he was given before he asked of the dragons, "Alright, what about him then? Surely she liked the Green enough to make babies. Any chance he could talk some sense into her?" Maybe one of the group here could help to find that particular dragon? If they found someone that Aullol liked maybe that would give the D-Corpers a better chance in ending this bickering without any harm befalling anyone?

"Do any of you know where that Green is now?" There were a lot of dragons here and he had no idea which among them was the right one, "Surely better to stop her now instead of her causing enough problems that it makes stricter rules for those of you that want to stay."

Baroness looked over at Ter, head tilting. She looked around and idly wondered if finding the Green would make a difference, who was to say that Aullol felt for the Green? He may have just been a good time and little more... One never knew though. Maybe her boy was onto something?

The copper snorted. "He's one of those behind her. Greens aren't much better than blacks, really." The male gave a bit of a sigh. "I just wish they'd leave if that's what they want to do." He settled down and glanced around the room for a moment.

"Well Hell..." Ter gave a shrug and slouched against his coils, "I guess then we do what? Sit back and watch the show?" One could only hope that things were going better in the other groups given he wasn't doing to well in getting help from this group. The end of his tail swished back and forth thinking on what the other had said before looking over at him, "You know... your right. I mean if I was as big as her and I really wanted to leave I'd be gone already, go stomping across the little people in my way and ha! Freedom. Kinda strange she is hanging around."

He wondered idly how much of it was them wanting to go and how much of it was just them wanting to yell and make noise...?

The copper male nodded. "I think she just wants to show off. To basically remind these humans that we are not harmless pets, but that we do have natural weapons. And Auloll likes being the center of attention...."

Ter's coils were shifting, bunching, and otherwise showing his emotions. He could hear stuff going on behind him, could taste a lot of things in the air when he flicked out his tongue and all of them were putting the snake on edge. He pushed up and then crossed his arms over his chest before looking over his shoulder to take in what was going on... and starred wide eyed, "Is that... Vorel?" He found himself saying outloud. Vorel who'd always been so laid back, always just dealt with Baroness and all she did when trying to prod the Frost into a fight with her...? Maybe it was a good thing Vorel never took the bait.

He looked around back and forth, yellow eyes trying to catch sight of another form but through the crowd of other kids and dragons he couldn't find him.

"Where is Ligeia?"

Baroness looked up at him a bit surprised that he seemed to care about such a thing, he'd always acted as if he couldn't care less about the owl and yet he was expressing concern? How strange... She turned her head back to watching the battle, eyes wide in a weird sort of delight. She wanted to jump in too! Imagine being able to fight with something that big!

"Baroness... will you find my brother?" Those words shattered all hope of getting to fight and she instead found herself asked to do something horrible, babysitting? Blech... just her luck. The Wyvern gave an angry, hissing sound before she scooted off to do as she was asked... Ter would owe her big time for this insult.

The snake watched his dragon go forth before turning back to the dragons. He was supposed to get help from them but it was starting to look a bit impossible, none of them wanted to life a claw, "Look! There are dragons younger then you and kids smaller then you ready to go and tell her off. You can't tell me there isn't at least one among you that wants to do the same?" If he couldn't even get one of them to help then... well... screw them! He would go and find his brother and Baroness on his own.

Argent gave up on Fleur. He was a lost cause surrounded by so many bright colors. She instead walked over to the talkative copper dragon and tilted her head, chirping up at it in draconic, "This is a lot of trouble to cause just because she wants attention...she said something about how the humans take away your babies. Could that really be one of the reasons?" She wondered if her parents were here in the ruckus, but she didn't have the time to look for them, nor was she sure if they would even have anything to do with her.

Fleur really was a lost cause, staring up at the amphiteres in wonder. "You're gorgeous," he repeated, beaming stupidly up at them. "And you're all tail! Could I...could I feel your feathers, if you don't mind...? I'd be careful not to get them out of place!" He didn't expect to be given an affirmative answer, but he could dream.

The copper stared for a long moment at Ter. "I don't see why's she's so upset about all this..." He gave a snort. The only dragons that looked even partially anxious were the reds, whose tails twitched and flicked and their heads swayed a bit.

The amphiteres were soaking up all the attention. Preening and moving so that their feathers shone in the light and so on. A few even agreed to Fleur's request. Hey, it was attention, right?

"Because she's a woman. They are nothing but trouble from what I have seen thus far." He said, crossing his arms over his chest. Ok they were a lot of fun and he loved them but given the one he hung out with most was as volitile as Ter was personality wise.

He turned to look at Fleur then nearly smacked a hand against his head, "Case in point." He told them. Girls were so weird... He turned to look over at the battle that seemed to be getting worse, "I need go over there, my brother is there somewhere as is Baroness my Wyvern. I could use any help your willing to give."

He looked between all of the dragons, "Ahh... please?" Right that was supposed to be the magic word right? He wondered if the magic word worked with dragons.
