 Nanu had slipped off when the sun rose to wake her. The sweet smell of grass and some wild bushes entered her nose. A kind smile crossed her face as her ears swung in the air.. Another day to explore...
Her paws searched around as her eyes blinked softly.. leafs scattering around as she slid her paws in to the grass... When her eyes fully opened she saw the rocks from the den. With that bright goofy smile as always she started running with full force to it. She knew everytime she did this.. she was at risk of being drowned or even worse. Hurt so badly like before... but she was a pup. Refusing to think of such bad consquences, her paws stumbled along each other as she ran down the smaller hill. The pile of rocks there and behind it was the big watering whole.. it sparkled and gave out an angelic glow... She was maturing from a pup but still in her heart, will always be the playful child. Her tail swirled around as she picked up speed.. her tumbling paws and legs finally learned and promptly stopped on a rock right before the waterhole.
A goofy reflection smiled back at her when she peered in. She would have giggled but what came out wasn't giggling. In fact. No sound came out.. but her maw made all the motions of this infinity laughter she possessed.

 The water stirred as a much larger Wild Dog swam around beneath the surface. He was seeing how long he could hold his breath before he had to come up. This was yet another game that Uzingo liked to play.
Unaware that a pup was sat on the bank, when it was time for him to come up, he burst out of the water with a mighty splash. "Thirty seven seconds, a new record!" He barked happily before making his way to the bank of the watering hole, only to see the grey and teal Wild Dog pup. "Hey!"

 Her cheeks grew pink and she fell backwards. The surprised had caused her downfall. Her leg started to twitch as she looked up at the sky with wide pale blue eyes. What just happened. Her mind had no time to react to almost anything!
It would take her lil heart to stop beating so hard to finally react. Wow... what happened.. what just happened to make her startle so much. Then she started giggling silently. For no sound came out except for a weird one. Her maw moved but that was JUST about it; weird sounds that woudl replacing giggling. They were soft but odd.
Her tail wagged hyperly around in upmost joy when her heart started to calm. A spark of energy rushed through her heart, down her spine then back up to her head.
She rolled enough, then put her rump in to the air to result in a slow headstand. Then her belly flopped down on to the ground. Now she faced the thing that scared her but she was so goofy and so happy that scare had no time between her happiness.

Uzingo laughed as he watched the pup attempt a headstand following her mini fall from grace. "You're funny!" He said with a big goofy grin on his face. When he reached the bank, his coat was still dripping wet. "You better take cover little one!" Without really giving her the time to follow his advise, he began shaking like crazy. Needless to say, water flew everywhere!
When he had finished shaking, his fur was still damp, but it was now all puffy as if he had recieved a huge shock of some sort. Drying off was lots of fun too. Still grinning, he looked down at the pup. "My name is Uzingo! What's yours?"

When he started his 'dry off' position. She shook her head to the water droplets that came to target her. A big smile came across her maw. She wiggled her body some to gain position; enough to flop on her side and then up on all fours!
Wagging her tail hyperly, but still having one eye closed for the fact that water was still flying around. Though once it ended. She patted the ground with her paws. She had found a new dog! What luck she had! When he asked her questions. She promptly smiled brightly with a funny tone to it.
He had asked her , her name? Well she did the smile....
and her maw started to move. But no sound came out. To others it must be funny to see since she was so happy and full of glee; yet no sound came out ;;;.
She wanted to say 'your name is beautiful' but rather that. Weird; hardly noticiable sounds came out. They were VERY VERY low. But if didn't sound like words anyhow. When she finished her sentence she happyily wagged her tail and clapped her paws. With all the water; one of her floppy ears slicked across one of her eyes without her noticing. Still her maw was inhabited by that goofy smile she always had.

(( ^^; Sorry about the wait. XP The recent Gaia update made me lose the will to RP. ))
Uzingo cocked his head to the side as he watched the little pup attempt to articulate what she was trying to say. How come she couldn't speak? Since this particular wild dog wasn't the brightest bulb in the box, he didn't dwell on it for long. He just assumed that her voice hadn't developed yet because she was still young.
Still grinning, Uzingo crouched down so that his face was at the pup's level, whilst his backside remained in the air with his ever-wagging tail. "How about I call yooouuu...Sky!" He smiled, waiting to see if the pup approved of the temporary nickname he had chose for her or not. "Your eyes are pretty shade of blue, like the sky!" He said with a firm nod.

She softly smiled. Her tail flew up, wagging. Ah, was he cold? Well she shook when she got out of water. Her tail flapping around behind her as she hopped up and down. When he comented on her eyes she blushed as red as a cherry. She hadn't been complimented like that since ever. She was so full of energy now.
Her body shifted towards him, standing on her hind legs to softly paw at him. Happily and playfully. She was softly barking at; happy.
Water dropped on her more then, and she softly licked at teh water dropping to her. Approving the nickname almost instantly, at least she was given a name. At the point or maybe if the soil wasnt too wet she could spell her name for him. That seemed to work.. somewhat..

Uzingo beamed at the pup's ability to stand on her hind legs. "I didn't learn to do that until I was a juvenile!" He grinned and copied her, pushing himself up on to his hind legs but keeping his bum firmly planted on the ground. His tail continued to wag, causing it to get increasingly dirty as it flicked left and right in the mud.
Once he was quite sure he had gotten his balance, he reached his front paws down to pet Sky on the head, only to find that he wasn't fully balanced at all. "Whoa!" Not wanting to fall on top of the little pup, he jerked backwards and ended up falling back in the water. It was a shallow part though, so he remained on his back laughing, completely amused by his own clumsyness.

She giggled but when he fell back in to the water; she didn't even hestiate. She jumped in after him and flopped on his stomach. She sounded like she was laughing but she couldn't get the right sounds out. Patting her paws on his stomach like if she were drowning. She had been in that same pradictament many times before. Three times and counted on how much times she drowned.
Her tail swung to each side. Excited. Yesh, even if she would think of drowning. She'd still be happy.,. Looking at him with a goofy smile and patting his stomach/chest. Trying to clib over to his face.

Still laughing, Uzingo was careful not to roll around too much in the shallows, as he didn't want the pup to fall off his tummy. "You're so cute." He said with a big goofy grin on his face, very much wishing that he could spend more time with pups like Sky. Because of how he was though, he doubted that any female would ever find him good enough to start a family with him. The thought of never having pups of his own caused his smile to fade a little bit, but he tried not to let his troubles show.
Carefully, he lifted his head up so that he could grip Sky by the scruff of her neck and placed her on the bank of the river, before he rolled on to the bank himself. His white coat was now completely filthy, having spent so much time rolling around in the muddy shallows. "Uh oh." He said with a sheepish grin as he looked over his shoulder at his brown back. "If my mum was still around she would be so mad!"

Her tail flapped around all happily. But when he helped her to the bank; she blinked at him. Watching him bring his body next to hers. He was.. SO MUCH FUN! She clung on to him. She was almost adolensent! Even if her frame was a little smaller than what she was suppose to be. She put on her goofy smile and licked and tried to paw away at the mud on him. Her tail tried so hard to clean him off too but twas too small.
She then leaned back enough to fall on her back. Looking up at him; flailing her paws up at him. Trying to see if this position would make her have eye to eye contact. But of course. Her logic was pretty crummy and un-smart like. But she laughed oddly and was happy either way. But when his smiled faded. She leaned up.. ? Tilting her head; much to her concern.
As IF to say 'whats wrong? can i help, did i do something that unpleased you?' Her ears slicking behind her head.

Seeing that the pup had caught on to his temporary state of unhappiness, he leaned up licked her head reassuringly. "Don't worry." He grinned. "I was just wishing I'd have pups of my own someday, and I got sad when I thought of that wish not coming true.
Laying on his side on the bank, it suddenly occured to him that he had been with Sky all this time and not once had he caught the scent of anyone nearby. "Sky, where are your parents?" Uzingo once again leaned his head up and looked around to see if he could spot any other Wild Dogs on the horizon.

 Almost to be a talented lil artist she was.
She moved back some giving him and her space. Not forgetting he licked her head. Which made her feel happy once again. For the time being.
She then started tracing her paw on the lighter mud. Making the cavern her parents were inhabiting. They must have been off to some place hunting. Well without her. Since she wondered off most the time. Scanning the area for life and adventure.
Then she drew the watering hole next to the cavern... Then looked up at him for approval. Pointing to the cavern when he said where her parents where. then she pointed to herself and him. Then to the watering hole. Nodding softly.
Her ears flopped down her cheeks about the fact of him wanting pups. She didn't understand why he wanted them but o well. Someday, or maybe.. she could help him. Like ... a friend or..
til he ... leaves her. Which she didn't ant to even think about. Flapping her tail from one side to the next as she nudged her muddy paw over her nose. Having her yellowish tatoo covered with mud. Yes, had this pup already got to such measure at a youing age? Well. She was royal.. and thus having to have royal distinguished among others. Though. She didn't much care or know much about it. She just know she had it and thats about it. Trying to smile again to him..

Uzingo watched with amusement and amazement at the pup's ability to draw. He could just about make out what she was trying to say, but he thought it best to confirm it. "So, your parents are in this cave here..." As he said that, he pointed to the drawing of the cave. "And we're here?" This time, he pointed to the drawing of the watering hole. Grinning, he waited to see if he was correct.
