Chuckling darkly, she placed the cigarette back in her mouth, feeling around with the hand she'd been holding it with for the dagger. Soon enough she managed to locate the blade, and made her way to the handle, by some miracle not cutting herself. "No matter how sweet you are, I won't let you have this, do you understand?"
"You're very clever," she admitted, amused. Baby or not, he really was. He was also bad. He was also violent. He was also...not to be trusted, espcially with HER things, but still better company than over half of the other Sin'aies. "It must suck, huh? Being a baby for so long."

He wiggled his way on his belly toward her, losing his hat along the way, "Aaaigh!" [Translation: Up now] This grass didn't bother him so much as the fact that if she showed him another sharp he wouldn't be close enough to take it. SHe was saying something about him, that much he knew, but it didn't seem that interesting without something for him to focus his miniature attention span on.

Speaking of hats, Kilah took hers off and ran a hand through her hair, grunting thoughtfully. Hm. Placing the hat back on her head, she finished the cigarette and tossed it carelessly on the ground, getting to her feet and stomping on it. She'd probably catch something on fire one day doing that.
"What?" Well, let's see. Babies got "fussy" for only a few reason. Hunger, boredem, or wanting to be picked up. Even if it was the first, she sure as hell wasn't about to feed him. Jack didn't seem like the type to want a nice little game of peek-a-boo, either. So, naturally, she went with the third.
With his wailing, it wasn't hard to find him even with sight, and with a warning glare she hauled him up off the ground. "If you hurt me, I'll drop and kick you. As long as you behave, I'm fine hauling your a** around."

"Iimmah" Jack answered, though it didn't really mean anything but yep. He understood this one wouldn't be extra nice to him, but that was a bout all. With another little noise he pat her shoulder with one little hand, before his attention wandered to his hat. That's where he kept his almost sharps, he couldn't leave that behind. "Ehh!" He whined, wiggling in it's directions, one little arm outstretched.

"Hey, stop moving or might drop you by accident!" What the hell was this kids problem? Always good to have Gizmo around. Sure, Kilah was capable of most things, sight or no, but having someone with working vision did come in handy in times such as these.
"Wark."
"Well, pick it up then!" Kilah demanded as if he'd just said an entire sentence. The griff whined a bit at the lack of appreciation, but obeyed and a second later the Sin'aeis was handing the hat to the baby in her arms. To the griff she said, "He's cool. Better than half the bitches around here...Let's steal him."
"WARK!" Came the screechy reply, her "eye dogs" eyes wide in panic.
"I'm just kidding, damn! Take everything so seriously..."

Jack made a content noise, settling down so she wouldn't 'drop' him. He held his hat in his teeth, nibbling on it happily. "Maaih" [Translation: Mine] This one wasn't so bad, maybe she had good meat inside her. But something told him he wouldn't find out anytime soon.

Having a faint idea what he'd meant, she chuckled with, "Yeah, sure." It was one of those times being able to see would really come in handy. It was probably be boring just standing there, but if she walked she'd probably end up tripping and falling on him, which wouldn't be good either.
Gizmo normally provided a nice direction and kept her from tripping, but she'd need a free hand to hold onto him, and it was pretty obvious she'd need both to hold the "cool", but vicious little monster known as Jack. He was certainly no Junketsu, the only other baby she'd held in her lifetime. "Let's see, hm. Do you get stories? I never did, since they seemed pointless for me, but I've got one with lots of blood and guts in it."

He stopped chewing his hat long enough to look up at her, eyes wide with what seemed like curiousity. "Aahm?" [Translation: Ah. Aahm xd ] A little bit of drool rolled down his cheek as he started to blow spit bubbles, nearly crossing his eyes to try and see them. Sometimes he was clever, other times well, he was still a baby afterall.

"Uh, right."
Usually, Kilah tried to keep such thoughts from her mind, but she couldn't help pondering how this vicious little baby looked. She'd actually heard he was cute in that psychotic run-for-your-life way.
"I wish you were older..." Her voice trailed off thoughtfully, her expression matching her tone. Did she say that? It was often that Kilah wished for something that involved someone else and wasn't 'I wish they'd drop dead' or something. Gizmo was clearly surprised, his attention only on the two Sin'aeis.
Interesting...
"It'd be interesting having an older you around. You should see all the whimps that stumble through here. Aard, Yukito. They're...icky." A proper word to use with a baby, yes?

"Ick!" He repeated, though it sounded more like a drawn out 'Eeeek'. Honestly, it wasn't meant to be an answer, he had almost no idea what she'd said, he understood the part about himself a bit, he just liked the way the word sounded.

"That's right." Hmm. The question now was: How easy did this kid cry? Actually, that was one of the questions, the other was her wondering how much he understood. The babies of her own kind never failed to out shine babies of other kinds, but maybe she was just biased.
"You ever flew before, Jack? Gizmo can do that. It's probably more interesting than just standing here."

"Ohhha!" He responded, eyes wide in curiousity. He'd heard that word before somewhere, it sounded fun. Course, he didn't really know what it meant, just that the word sounded fun, like bleed. Bleed sounded fun. "Maah" he wiggled a bit, reaching one of his hands toward the griff, though he didn't move too much, slightly spooked by her threat to drop him.

Speaking of, she had no problem using that same threat twice. "Okay, I'll show you, but don't cry or I drop you." Considering they'd be up in the air, being dropped from that far would really hurt, she imagined. Hopefully he wasn't afraid of heights. It seemed like a stupid fear to her, but that was probably due to not being able to see.
Reaching over, she grabbed a handful of Gizmo's feathers roughly, hauling herself onto his back carefully. This was a bit more difficult holding a baby, but she could manage. "Go," she demanded, kicking the creature in the side a little.
Without hesitation, the griff stepped back a few paces then took off into the air, soaring along high above the mansion.

Alright, he wasn't quite prepared for that. Startled when they left the ground, he grabbed hold of her shirt with both little fists, shutting his eyes for a split second. Then he realized they weren't going to crash down like Cassidy did when she tried to flew, and opened them again, loosening his grip a bit. After a few seconds he'd let go completely, hoping she wouldn't do the same, and was staring down at the ground, waving a little hand to the building, "Owaaaa"

Careless. It was to be expected. She'd admit he was cool for a baby, but he was still that. A baby. Babies could be smarter than other babies, but they were still babies. Luckily, with that thought in mind she'd expected him to let go. "Careful there."
For once, she didn't bring someone else into the skies with her with the intent of pushing them off. Gizmo normally didn't like carrying more than Kilah either, his flying wasn't that good, but a baby weighed virtually nothing to him.
"Looks pretty from up here, doesn't it? Gizmo says so."
"Wark!"
