Hi Everybody, I'm new to this guild and wanted to know for those of you who own or have played Warhawk or Lair are they worth $40 or $60. Like if I bought Warhawk would I get tired of it after a while since there's no single player. And before anyone says anything, I don't really have the time to go and rent it and there's no demo on the Playstation Store so I just wanted to get your opinions on these games.

Id have to say that Lair is worth the money, if you played any of the Rogue Squadron games, and liked them you will enjoy it, but even if you didntt like them this game is fun and definatly worth it IMO.
As for Warhawk, I know not, as I can't play online.

I have Warhawk, Got it about 2 weeks ago. It's online only, 5 or so maps -Freebies are said to be released sometime from now until early '08. If you get it at the store, it's worth it. it comes with a bluetooth-20-30 dollar item as is- Which basically makes the game worth $30 or $40..Not only that the game is really fun..As you rank up you get more customization..And each map has certain mini maps like "You can only play within..this area.." or the whole map is unlocked..It feels like there are more than 5 maps..If you like fast paced always changing battles, This is pretty fun. My favorite PS3 game so far ^^

Both are excellent, I just play Lair more due to it having a single player.

I see, I was kind of hoping Warhawk would have a single player mode, but multi can be just as fun

they got rid of that some times ago, saying they couldnt make the game any good with a single player mission. I think they just didnt want to put the greater effort into it.

DiRT isn't that good, I played the demo, Motorstorm is way better. I'll probably pick up heavenly sword soon too (Demo was cool). Since my birthday's coming up.

i would recommend warhawk for some fun online but if you want a good story line then get lair up to you 3nodding
