what does it mean really??
well i'm reading a book i vowed not to read until i got the first four books...but anywho, in the book the mother tells her daughter about being "feminine"
i mean its one thing to want to take care of yourself but putting on lots of makeup everyday to look younger? its kinda ridiculas to me (mostly cuz everytime i think about makeup i always think of this scene where this woman puts on a lot of makeup then goes outside and it starts raining and when she wipes her face, her whole face moves eek )
i believe in being natural...i mean are all those cosmetics really needed to look beautiful?

Absolutely not!! I may not be "beautiful" to some of those other girls, but it beats having to use make-up to look pretty ^w^

MEN invented makeup so even when were drunk we think ugly girl r pretty girls! then we wake up with a hangover and say,"whoa, what happened to me last night?"

i jus don't get why someone could go to long lengths to make themselves look "pretty" and then rob themselves of enjoying life cuz it'll spoil their look

I don't wear makeup. Though lately I have tried a little eye shadow and lip gloss. (Uhhhgggg) But I will never wear a new face. A bunch of foundation then thick thick makeup all over. I mean I believe in what Agika says being natural is beautiful. My mom and others bug me and say that I should wear makeup because I'm old enough to now. I don't care I just feel really uncomfortable wearing it.

dude as much as thats a crappy view for alot of guys thats wrong i hate make up alot anything of makeup i love a natural look nothing else and saying is someone is ugly is very rude thats very immature maybe she does not appeal to you but maybe to someone else

Feminine...feminine...it's all just the views of humans. What is feminine is just like saying what we think is cute. Cute for us, is something with a big head, big eyes, and added with either two things: Fur, Smile, blah blah blah.
anyways, to us we think feminine as slender or fashionable or make-up or house work or personality, or even manners. (common list here)
...It's all in opinion.
In my opinion, make-up is just a great excuse to try to look beautiful. True beauty requires no artificial cover-up. (clowns are acceptable)
