Is anyone interested in the principles of 2D animation?
I could post a mini lecture and have you guys do small projects that can be done in flash, photoshop, or even with a camera (it'll be harder though)
3nodding Just some really really short basic stuffs. biggrin anyone anyone?
XD I'm taking a $1600 class for Principles of 2D animation and I"m willing to share what I've learned with you FOR FREE

EDIT: and by 2D principles of animation I mean the actual animation part, not really learning to use a program and what not. :3 So I'd only teach you what you'd need to know to do the little basic projects as far as program use is concerned.
ALSO you don't need a tablet. XD drawing quality isn't a huge concern here, so long as I can tell what it is on screen you're fine! 3nodding I'm serious, don't worry about having to draw anything complicated.

D: I want to know who's all for this and that people didn't just hit the poll for the gold

I don't want to take time out from doing home work to do this mini lesson thing if no one truely is interested.

I'll be drawing by hand in photoshop then turning it into a .GIF
biggrin you can use Flash, Toonboom, paper and pencil, anything you can draw on! Even MS Paint. This will only be the principles of 2D animation so I won't be showing anyone how to use a program beyond how to start drawing in it and saving files.

darksoul well im taking a class in 3-d animation. so i would be interested in learning. You haven't taken 2D principles? o.o what program are you animating in? :3 well I'm guessing they showed you the principles of animation correct? If they haven't that scares me, if they have then it'll just be a refresher thingy. XD

And that was the day that Xeno expressed interest in said lessons (unless it's just the layer thing in photoshop, in which case he already knows, but new updated pricinples can never hurt, right? Right!)
