They're shitheads
Why a football players is on that show, I have no idea
And that "pro"MMA-fighter sucked
Why did he fight MT? And why did he wear a shirt?
And why was the fight rigged for him to not get KTFO?

Still, the premise that the hosts have to "fight" one of the martial artists of the art they're studying is somewhat original as far as martial art documentary shows go.
Bill Duff the football is totally out of place I agree. I guess they just wanted a big tough meat head so that big tough meat heads could relate.
The thing that impresses me the most about the show...the PHYSICS!! Scientific approach to analyzing martial arts rocks! Oh yeah! Now all we need is some physiological chemistry thrown in and I'm all set. I'm a nerd I know but this is the stuff that gets me going in college so....

I only like the physics behind the techniques and learning a few details about the styles. Otherwise both of those guys are retarded.
Oh and the episode featuring Karate, yeah, that fight was just plain s**t, I have to be honest.

It is nice to see the physiological chemistry part, all to see the other forum of martial arts and history. I like the krva Maga (my hybrid martial arts). I think they do tell the champion to go easy on the Americans when they are fighting.

Until the Krav Maga episode. But after these several episodes, its apperant that they will never try to show a true traditional martial art, and any truely traditional martial art would never allow the camera's to document them.
I do laugh my a** off at the fact they will never be pronounced "winner" of any match, after the big guy nearly destroyed his opponent in the Greek episode and was told that the weakling he fought made more point-scoring hits than him.

That's bullshit. I'm not talking about well known, the sports, or the ones where kids practice it. The old schools, the non-profitable schools, dojo's who never care about competitions or excessive belt testing, the originators of aikido and the like; they are selective about who they teach, and what they teach. A real traditional school would never allow camera's to record thier classes, students, teachers, and schools.

A real traditional school would never allow camera's to record thier classes, students, teachers, and schools. Again. That's bullshit. What are they afraid to prove? That it DOESN'T work? Please. And how does one actually find one of these schools? And the "originators" of Aikido? Please, don't make it sound like it's actually Traditional, because it's not. It's not even one hundred years old. Muay Thai is older then Aikido. BJJ is AS old as Aikido. Judo is older then Aikido. Aikido is not TMA.
