The male had been hanging around for a while now. He hadn't really done much other then listen to others and learn more about the pride. He hadn't seen Mchengo in a while which had dampened his mood somewhat but he knew he would see her soon enough and he would have great news for her. He was going to find this queen and ask to join this pride. He still had a lot to learn about it but for now he was content in asking the Queen after all she would surely know the most about the pride?
He moved towards the big rock that he had been told about, it looked a little intimidating in a way but at the same time he had to do it for Mchengo. He was giving up his old dream for a new one with her and it wasn't the easiest thing to do. He was somewhat scared but he had only heard good things about this Queen though of course he hadn't a clue what she looked like so this could be an interesting trip!

-Kami paced.. or rather strolled back and forth across the warm rocks, gold and auburn tail flicking mildly back and forth. She moved simply to move, body swaying in an unthreatening way, and even her mind was clear, maw curling into a soft smile as she absently watched a pair of bird flitter and swoop through the warm air currents.
She was restless, but undecided as what to do she kept in her lazy oval, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the mild breeze that ruffled at her pelt.-

He reached the bottom of the large rock and began to climb up carefully. He wasn't exactly hard but he didn't know what to expect once he had got up onto the ledge so when he saw a female looking very much alone he doubted the pride once more, it was just so different. He would have to get use to it though.
"Excuse me, do you know where I could find the Queen?" He spoke politely though he didn't know who the female was he expected she must be someone close to the Queen. He would have never guessed that it was her to rule such a land and to be so alone but then that was just another difference he would have to get use to.

-Oh if only he knew how unalone she really was. How often she had cubs, pups, or some member of the pride following after her. How seldom she actually got time to simply be alone.
Her eyes lifted gently with the words, and a polite smile touched her.- "Hmm? Oh. You've found her." -She replied mildly, stopping her little pace to face him as her auburn tail began to twitch gently back and forth.-
"Something I can help you with?"

He looked at her startled, he hadn't expected to find her so quickly.
"Oh I apologize for intruding. I just came to ask to stay in these lands, a female of your pride has captured my heart and I wish to stay here with her and to learn more about your lands. They are so beautiful and different to what I am use to. I have much to learn." He lowered his head respectfully though he felt a little embarrassed to be bowing to a female but as he realised not all things are as he once knew.

-A secret smile touched her maw, framing the warmth that touched her cheek at such a candid expression from the male. Had Ta been so quick to speak it might have made things alot easier in her past. But then again, might it not have run her away too?
Shaking the thoughts from her face, she mused softly, letting herself be drawn into the sweeping thoughts of raomance.- "Ahhh.. quite a good reason to join a pride I would say. And quite giving of you to give up your past so she can keep hers."
"Well in anycase, I hope the Pridelands can help you in your learning, you'll find plenty of others that would be happy to help you along the way I'm sure."
