Most people know that the members of SOAD hate touring....
So here is my question... :
If they hate touring so much then how come Serj, John and Daron are putting out new albums...
New Albums mean new tour [which I am very excited about both, I am not saying I'm not]
i just...didnt quite understand this.

Serj said in his interview he'd be touring lots with the album coming out. Maybe it's different when they are on their own. Like Serj can do what he wants to do while on the road. Maybe they don't like touring together?? I don't know, just a thought.

I thought that too. Maybe its like....to much time with one group of people gets annoying after a while...I mean they did how many tours together? It must have gotten annoying at some point.

You spend too much time with some people, you tend to get annoyed very eaisly by those people. Then you need a break. The experience is different on your own. 3nodding

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Daron and Serj were 'dueling' at all, but since a lot of the writing was shared, and now the vocals...As Serj has mentioned in different things he just wanted to do his own stuff, what he felt he needed to release-himself. So touring...he said he was excited for it, so maybe singing his own stuff brings him more joy and enthusiasm. With System, they were doing stuff from the first few albums as well as the two newer ones. So his stuff now is completely fresh, he hasn't toured with it before. So maybe touring before got boring at times with the same material.

I think a lot of the rumors about the fighting was ridiculus. Seriously....it was just....idiotic in my opinion. But I definatly understand what you saying.....it's almost like....a change in pace is needed....they just need a change in scenery...but instead of places..music...
I really hope that made as much sense to others as it made to me sweatdrop

Man, yeah, I hate those rumors like that Daron and Serj got in a huge argument or fight or whatever. Just because a lot of other bands and groups of singers are put together by a record company just to make money (Like the Spice Girls! D: Though, I <3 Spice Girls, because I hated Backstreet Boys and N*SYNC. xDD) it doesn't mean that System of a Down has to be that way!
I reeeeally want to see Serj Tankian, though. DX
The closest show to me is San Francisco, and I don't even live in California. DX

If everytime you fight you break up...well then you really shouldn't be together in the first place and then also...you just need help. I would be absolutely surprised if they never got into an arguement. It's also like sibling rivalry in a sense too. So much gets put into their music, they need to critisize and everything to make it as close to perfect as they want, well what's perfect in their eyes. Yeah, luckily he's coming to Philadelphia!!! I just moved out here a little less than two weeks ago and my dad has been checking into stuff and asking around for me since absolutely no ticket information is out ANYWHERE! sad Anyone know or have seen something on tickets!? Not even ticketmaster is showing anything!
