I don't. My friends are not homophobes, they are completely open minded. If anyone says something like "Thats gay" or somethign I snap at them. They know better to use phrases like that around me and not all of them know i'm bi.

AT school I have to act straight and all this s**t. They will joke around and say oh that girl looks gay and I want to punch someone.
I really have to do it around my family.
One night at my godmother's sister's birthday party, the girls were talking about gay people and then started insulting Bi-sexuals because it's wrong. I wanted to cry.

No, my friends are all GBLT supporters, and we're all pretty outspoken against homophobic acts.
Hacker twilight, Is there anyway you can subtly ask them to stop saying homphobic things? Maybe get them to ease up a bit?

My Mama and Mami and lesbians together so no on that side of the family. But my biological dad has major problems and I think he just about hates everything about me. My piercings, my hair colour, my clothes, my being bisexual...A very long list of things.
With all my friends, they try and hook me up with girls and guys, even the new friends I've made in America. So, I'm not really one of those people. But I am friends with a bunch of those people and have dated people that are like that. I totally can't stand being with someone who is ashamed of us.

I'm pretty open about it now that I live far away from my homophobic family and don't go to high school anymore. I haven't told anyone at work though, except my manager. He knows.

I don't. Back where I used to live(a few weeks ago), majority of my friends are gay/bisexual so it's no a big deal. But in the town I'm living in now, I hear that there is only one gay person they know of. So, here, I don't know.I don't think I'd have to be homophobic, considering there isn't many homosexuals here. And even if there is, I wouldn't act homophobic.I don't have any problems with it.

My boyfriend's a homophobe,... sweatdrop it makes me very very sad,... I love him with everything I have, though. whee heart He adores me as well. *happy*

I don't have to act like a homophobe, I refuse to do so. I am a gay rights activist, I try to influence people. In order to influence people, in order to help, I have to act straight, pretend to be straight in order to not freak them out. It's ******** up. Most of them are under the impression that you can't be pro-gay rights if you are straight, so I act straight to try to break that impression. I am actually only questioning/curious but I feel really horrible for hiding. Most of my friends know. my extended family on both sides have been Mormon for centuries. My dad and sister know.
