Laini grew up having to take care of both herself and her mother until her mother died. An adult, she found her way to the UW and found it to be the friendly pride she wants, a place where she can feel she'd be taken care of if she needed to be. Well, she got pregnant by a rogue and produced Ori. Not wanting him to have a horrible life like her's she wants what's best for him (don't all mothers?). Well, he has a skin condition causing his skin to break easily so she would want to make a couple of securities for him (unknowing to the fact that he'd soon after run off to the RotE pride once someone from there talks to him about it). She also travels a lot and could meet anyone.
Once he becomes an adol (or maybe closer to an adult), he'd run off to try to find a flute. He will have a vision, or what he believes is a vision, of people playing instruments much like they do, but he will also see the reed flute and its "singing voice" becoming attracted to it and obsessed with finding it. Eventually, he would leave to find it (and eventually come back).
Now during this point in time (really up to the person offering their girly) the girl could have gone to the RotE pride, meet him, and actually fall in love with him (YAY), or maybe something else. If she stayed in her pride, I'd figure it'd end up like this. Radi, his "babysitter", would have been left behind with Laini back at UW. And when the time for Ori to be with his arranged wifey-poo comes, Radi would go find him (on his adventure) and tell him. Ori would then feel obligated to go pick her up.
Ori is currently a fun-loving, impatient cub but on this journey, he would be so focused, it would calm his personality down alot.
Regardless, I don't expect too many offers since there are only so many windows for drama and awesomeness on behalf of the girl. So if you do offer, throw ideas out if you want. Even if they alter my plot idea 3nodding

yay ^^ *adds Umbia to the list* Well, I know with Laini if she talked to someone else who mentioned they had a daughter, she'd definitely mention she had a son. And if she let's herself believe that the cub would be perfect for Ori, then she'd definitely try to convince the other parent that it should work. xD

I wanted offer my seapride girl, since she's extremely musical and it'd be interesting plottage due to her independence but...your mother can't travel there. *scuffs feet at bad luck* aw D; it's just that it'd probably be like a week's travel ...and Laini would feel like she could get kicked out for being gone so long (if she traveled that way for one reason or another) (and I doubt the parents would travel far enough away for Laini to coincedentally meet them halfway) but you have me tempted D;

WELL, if it's her worried about how long she could stay out she could travel with Mteuli. <3 He travels all the time, it's kind of his duty for the pride. And while he couldn't go there as often as some places, he goes everywhere. So...maybe she could have heard that he was going to see and wanting to see it for herself asked if she could come along? He'd be more then happy to have her. He takes on other pridemembers and such all the time (ie his daughter Shula and sometimes Vinaya as he brings her back and forth fromt he pridelands).

Laini could do that 3nodding especially since he was the one who essentially let her join the pride (and then she wouldn't feel bad) I'd just have to figure out whether that means she'd bring her son with her (suddenly reminds me of the beginning of the Swan Princess xDDD)

Yay! xD Well let me offer up my girlie then~  Mirija of the sea pride. <3 She's very confident and independent, with a huge love of attention and the spotlight, though she's not self centered since she really has a huge compassion for other people in general. She's extremely musical, always singing and dancing along the shores where she lives. I figure when he'd come to get her she'd be like "What? I don't need a man to take care of me!" but she'd be really interested in his pride so she might go along to check it out telling him that this "didn't have to do with him" and such and maybe she'd end up falling for him anyway or something but that's up to you/rp/etc. but there are lots of posibilities of drama, since she's a bit impulsive and such. xD BUT YEAH. @last bit - LMAO. What if they like...as kids were like..."wanna get married?" and the other was like "sure" so they without really knowing what they were doing they promised themselves to each other AH I AM RAMBLING and completely off topic, sorry. xD
