Tale and VP had been gone for quite some time. It had been a nice cruise to the southern waters, and VP had gotten much of her work done that had been nagging at her for the past few years. But now, they were home. And it was very evident of how much they missed!

They came home to there little house in the middle of town to find that... their neighbors were different, and more epople were inhabiting the little town that hadn't been there before! Needless to say, Tale was distrought. She had been gone a year, and didn't think she could make any friends now that her other friends had grown away from her.

Ahh! Why hadn't she taken VP's advice and sent post cards?!

It might have been a nice thing to do. :/

Oh well, no time to do that now.

So, to calm there nerves from the stress of 'coming home to the bills and 'off' vacationness', Tale and Vp made the decision to take a picinic and go out tot he meadows.

In the hopes of gathering a few 'new friends' to eat with them, they packed much food and drink to suply at least 15 people, and the rested neithe the wide brances of the old tree.

It was a nice spread. A large quilt covered the grassy area, and food was placed about to lure in the 'new friends'. Soda, pizza, sandwiches, cake, jello, chicken, salad. Everything! Even fish! [Tale:Mmmm].

When it was all set out, VP sat down on the quilt and beconed Tale to float over and join her. "Jello?" VP smiled, handing her a bowl.

"Thanks, Mum." Tale said, sighing. VP gave her a look, and Tale smiled back. Today was going to be fun! New friends, anyone?

It was Tale that spoted the little fellow first. She gasped, happy. Vamp looked up, surprised at the noise. She followed her daughter's eyes to the little child who was walking by. Tale gave her mother a look. At her mother's nod, she spoke up.

"Hello, there! Would you like to join us for a picnic? We've got lots of food and drinks.. and deserts, too!"

"We brought extra, alot extra, for just this occasion." Chimed Vamps. "I'm Vampire, you can call me Vamps, if you'd like. And this is Tale'Moana, but we just call her Tale."

Tale smiled and nodded. Hehe, Pretty ladies. That was very sweet of him. "What would you like... ehh, whats your name?"

"Its nice to meet you, Kakashi, and you are very welcome to share in our food. I like meeting new people." Tale said, then got out a soda. "Would you like one? We have lots of different kinds." She opened a grape soda for herself and pulled out the plates so that everyone could help themselves to food.

"Who is your mom?" Asked Vamps. "I always like to know thw adults around here. I get lonely sometimes. XD"

"You havn't!?" Tale responded, totaly blown back. "Blasphemy! Here, try this grape soda, and this coke, and Rootbeer, and limey-drink..." She pulled out and opened all the stated and put them out for him to try.

"No parents? Who was at our vase when you came ou, then, dear?" Vamps looked concerened.

"Its not wrong, but its always nice to have someone to look up to and as questions so you're not in the dark. But it seems as if you're doing fi-- You have a weapon?!" Vamps looked stunned. The scar, she figured, was just how the goddesses had designed him. It bothered either of them little.

"You know, we have straws." She said, feeling foolish that she had given a new friend something that he couldn't even lift. "Here you go."

"We have cups, of course." Vamps rmaged through the giant basket which had housed all the food for a cup. "Ahhh, yes. Here you are." She said, setting the cup down by the soda. Then she realised that it would be verry hard for one that size to pour the soda, so she did that as well and put the straw in it for him.

"Where'd you get the weapon?" Tale asked, rather intruiged by it. She didn't see those that often, kitchen knives and pocket knives, and sporks, she saw, but whatever that was... it was new to her.
