I'm 16 years old and live in Oregon. I'm not sure if I'm the subject of abuse.
I live with my older sister(19) my younger brother (14) and my Father. My brother is constently calling me whore and c**t and other such names, often he will even try to hit me.
My sister is much the same. Already today, not more then 20 minuets ago did she hit me a few times. She will also often call me derogitory names.
My father drinks alot, often he will blame me for a lot of probums at home. Though he has never hit me, he has raised his hand to me. And in the past he has threaten to beat me, or send me to crazy person hospital like I did something wrong. He often will call me stupid and such.
I'm confused. Am I the subject of abuse? And what should I do?

yes i belive you are and i think you need to tell an authority figure that is higher than your mom
and as for youe siter if she is over the age of 18 and is hitting you leaving marks on your body then thats assult and i think you should repot it
but thats just what i would do i guess

(child protection services)

O_o damn. I agree with the others, call child service. Or even the police. Thats so damn low to do, to call any family relative dirty names. I'd kick their a** personally, but hell, I dun know where u live to do it.
But yea, call some sort of authority, or even an adult at school. That kinda s**t's not supposed to happen.

demonic_numskulled O_o damn. I agree with the others, call child service. Or even the police. Thats so damn low to do, to call any family relative dirty names. I'd kick their a** personally, but hell, I dun know where u live to do it. But yea, call some sort of authority, or even an adult at school. That kinda s**t's not supposed to happen. i'd havent to be going to school to tell a teacher...school dosent start till september... stare and i am...I'm going to go to the police station on monday...

Yes. Because you are made to feel threatened in your own home. Name-calling, blaming, and hitting are all very harmful.
You can talk to your school counsellor about it and ask to be reffered to youth help or women's safehouses in your area in case you ever need to run to somewhere safe.
You may not be in mortal danger, but your self-worth is slowly being eroded by people (your family) who should be helping you build yourself into a strong and able adult.

I know what your goign through RevanStar, my mother was reported to cps and while I was in the mental hospital/ pych. ward in April, they visted me then stoped and must of droped the case, and my mother stoped for a few months and shes at it again and worse then ever, cept this time she draged my father and brother in, and then a few nights ago she started grabved my arm till it hurt and a few other thigns like that..but no I don''t know exactly what you going through but I can relate some..may be I can try and help you through some since I may understand some..

yeah you need to get out of there soon. Getting hit is phsycal abuse and name calling degratatory remarks and such is definatly emotional abuse. *hugs* hang in there and when you can get out. I went through the same thing when I was little things are better now because my mom got help and I got counsling. life is much better now for the both of us.

And what should I do? see i have been beat uo by my brother an come out covered in bruses the my step dad rather the yelling at my brother hits me also i used to get hit with a belt but that stoped. i still get smaked by my mom but i deserve it.Heck i have been told more then a cupple time im the reson our life is so ******** up((sorry but thouse are his words i cant replace them)) so yeah i agree witth the others call the child peoples

yes you are.. as have i when i was younger my sister use to constantly beat me up.. now i beat her up ^^ but thats besides the fact.. i say you get back at your sibblings.. brandish a knife or something.. take one of your fathers empty beer bottles and smash it in half.. but only do this, in the cercumstances that you have no other alternative.. when your cornered i presume.. should be an excelent decision.. then start calling your older sister a self rightouse b***h and your brother a lazy nerd that will never get a prom date.. it allways works..
