found himself thinking of the good old days. Wait? There was no "good old" days. Since every day was good. He smiled as he let the wind blow in his faces as he sat down under the tree for a little breather. He was indeed getting older. Or at least his body was. But, he still felt like a kid. Always hyper and wanting to run around. But his breath wasn't as good it was a while ago.
His eyes were closed and his tail was spread lovely out in the grass. His flowers clinging for dear life in his mane and tail, yet they never seemed to fall out. Or die. Though, they were plastic, he figured. Or his two-legger was clever and put new ones in while he slept. He just shrugged it off, he didn't care, but he was glad that they didn't die. He was grinning rather stupidly like normal.

 Trotting up a hill happily, Figment looked around as it was a sunny day. Perfect for doing whatever you wanted. She spotted a speckled stallion sitting under a neighboring tree, resting. He looked older than she, but that wasn't going to stop her from asking what was going on.
Making her way up to the male, she noticed his pretty white flowers arranged in his hair. "I like your flowers.", she told him, introducing herself in her own way. Figment smiled sweetly as she waited for a response.

Cualtzin hadn't expect someone to come out of no where and say something about his flowers. He quickly opened his eyes to see who it was. Perhaps he knew this mare? As he did, a lot of blue filled his eyes. At first, he was thinking it was Jeevita. Though the color was wrong. Too different of blue. This mare also had blackish hair and legs. How strange indeed.
He then noticed her markings, to him they looked like snow. He smiled up at the mare. "Why thank you!" he said excitingly as he started to stand up. He felt it rude to be sitting when a lady was there. "I love them!" He said with a smile as he was fully up from the ground. The loose grass that was once on the ground was now stuck to the side of him. Though, he didn't even notice at all.
"I'M CUALTZIN!" he said in his usual overly loud voice. Of course, he always calmed down after it. "Nice to meet you!" He said slightly yelling tone, but not as loud as when he presented his name.

Figment probably looked like she was hopping right now, since she always liked meeting new people. She hadn't met someone new for a while. "Yes, they are pretty and you are quite welcome.", she grinned. She felt her tail swaying happily, long hairs tickling her legs.
Figment then acknowleged the blades of grasses stuck to the stallion's rear and snickered. She wanted to say something to him, but didn't know how. Even if she did, she wouldn't have gotten the chance to tell him because he started yelling. Backing up a smidge, Figment talked to him back. "My name is Figment. And it's nice to meet you too." Hopefully he would quite down a bit because even though he seemed nice, he hurt her ears.

Cualtzin smiled and flicked his curly tail about a little bit making some more of the grass stuck to him fall off. He didn't notice her snickering about the bits of grass, nor would he have cared if she mentioned something. He smiled rather stupidly for a moment.
"That's an interesting name. Kind of like Figment of your imagination, right?" He said with a huge grin. He loved meeting knew horses, and it had been a while since he had met the last one. But he was getting to be old, it was like there were lots of soquili that he just knew, yet so many he didn't know as well. They kept showing up every month.

As Figment watched Cualtzin flick his tail and grass fall from his side, she figured he'd have most of it gone pretty soon, so there were no worries to tell him. Seeing the stallion smile foolishly, Figment just smiled back.
"I suppose so.", she laughed, never hearing of that expression before. She just wanted to pretend she knew what he meant. "So why are you here all alone?", Figment questioned. Hopefully she could stir up some conversation.

Well, that was a hard question to answer. He had no clue why he was here alone. Well, his mate was off with her two-legger again. It really tore him up when he couldn't be with her. But two-leggers were very important, and her two-legger just happened to be a traveler.
"Ah... Well." He started and just gave her a stupid grin. "Can't really answer that, since I don't really know." He said honestly. Better to tell the truth then lies, he said to himself. He had three grown children now. Had hardly seen them lately, but he heard they were doing good. One of them was already mated. It made him proud.

Figment knew why she was here alone and it was because of a simple fact that she didn't know anybody around these parts. "I see", she said. Figment herself didn't even know where her family resided. She hadn't seen them for a long time and sometimes wondered where they were. Figment hoped to see them sometime soon since they weren't all that far away. Maybe they'd bump into each other.
Asking another question, Figment smiled. "So, do you have family around these parts?"

"Oh yes!" he said rather happily. Most proud of his lovely family. "I have a mate, and three beautiful children." He said with a rather smug look on his face. His tail flicked happily, making his curls bounce straight and then back to being curled. "But My children are grown up and my mate is on a very long trip somewhere."
To be honest, he had no clue where his mate was, which made him worry oh so much the more. She just said she was leaving on short notice. Well, that wasn't something he wanted to hear. His smile faded a little, but didn't totally leave. She was safe. He knew that.

"Oh, that must be nice.", Figment replied. She could never imagine taking care of others that depended on you to take care of them. Foals were fun, though, Figment only saw them as playmates and often got teased for not being 'grown up'. Grown children must not be too hard to look after though since they look after themselves.
Figment was in search of love, but in no rush. She wasn't sure if she ever wanted children, since afterall... she still was a child herself. That was for the future to decide.
"I just have two brothers and my parents.", Figment grinned slightly.

"OH! That must be lovely." He said with a nod. "Never new my parents! But that's ok. I figured it's for the best!" He said with a smile. Nothing got him down. Nothing, except the absence of his mate. He flicked his tail and looked about. "I'd ask what's it's like, but I am a parent now, so I guess I already know!" He said laughing and shaking his mane.
Surprisingly, his flowers clung on pretty well. Though, a few peddles of one of them fell slowly to the ground. He didn't notice though.

"I don't even know where my parents and brothers are at the moment, but I am sure I will run into them again sometime soon.", she told Cualtzin, looking at the ground. Last time she saw her family was when she was a foal. It's all alright though since Figment was trying to find herself these days and live her own life. She hoped to meet someone special eventually.

He laughed. "Yeah! But it's still good to be independant. I know I haven't seen my kids since they grew up. And now two of them are mated." He said excitingly. "I don't know if they have kids, but I'm sure they'd tell me." he flicked his tail. "I don't know what it'd be like to be a grandpa. But I'm certainly getting older!" It had been too long since he had last seen his kids, been what seemed like ages since he had see his kids for the first time in those little baskets.
His smile grew as he day dreamed for a moment, then shook his head and smiled at the blue spotted mare. "I'm sure you'll see them again, and they'll be more then happy to see you." He winked at her. "Plus, once you start a family you'll be complete. Or at least I was when I started one with Tally."
