Who: Atae, Ed, Terasu (and any related family we feel need to be involved) (Yes, Trel, Lily can show up too. XD)
What: HEY ED GUESS WHAT TERASU AND CHARITY DID... and who Atae's related to...
When: After Ed and Lily get back from their trip. I mean... however much Terasu wants to he can't exactly hide that forever. @_@;
Where: HQ
Why: Because we're evil slavedrivers to our kitsu. >>
Atae heaved a sigh and flopped down next to the couch in the main room of HQ, too tired at the moment to even hop up on it. She hadn't been able to make lessons with Zell this morning so she'd gone out for a hike/run/self excersize session to make up for it and wound up staying out longer than she'd intended. Then she'd wandered over here to HQ, deciding that one, she wanted to see Terasu and Charity and the kids, and two, she didn't want to go home yet. But... she wanted to catch her breath and get herself back in sorts before she actually wandered back their to see them. She wasn't the most appearance conscious kitsu on the face of the planet, not by far, but sometimes she just didn't feel like looking a mess when she went to see someone, you know? So she set about grooming herself while leaning against the bottom of the couch and just generally relaxing for a few minutes before she got back up.

With a stretch, Terasu drew up from his peaceful nap. All the others were still sound asleep, thank goodness. As quietly as he could, the purple male exited the room and shut the door. Padding down the empty hallway, thinking no one was inside the HQ, Terasu made for the front door. That is, until he noticed Atae against the couch grooming herself. "Hey there." He hadn't known that she'd come to visit today. "What's this, trying to impress someone?" He raised a brow, unbothered by the fact that his own feathers may be ruffled. Kits do that to ya, be it feathers or fur. Terasu stopped and rested himself on the thick center rug of the mainroom. Ah, nice and quiet. Finally. Especially with thoes crazy daughters.

Atae looked up, slightly startled, and then sheepish. "Ah... it's probably silly, I just felt a little bit too messy, for some reason. Though I imagine you've seen me in worse shape at some point. How's the family?" Family... his family. Her family. Right, that was one of the reasons she came over... "Actually, speaking of Charity and the kids... I found out something sort of... funny-strange yesterday after I did some digging around..."

Terasu shook his head, grey locks swaying lightly. "You? Messy? Yeah, I guess I've seen that." He chuckled and stuck out his tongue. Of course it was all in good fun. "But yes, the family is doing great. All the kits are healthy, and growing fast. Though some could use mood adjustments." Or that was simply their mother peeking through. At least only one youth got stuck with the ouroboros; it narrowed down stress.
Terasu raised a brow at Charity. "Funny-strange. Involving my family?" His mind struggled to find anything, but he was aware of nothing. Not even a link to what she may be talking about. "All right then, what is it?"

Atae fidgeted a bit, but it wasn't really a nervous sort, just an excess energy sort. She was tired, yes, but the sheer amusement factor of just now finding this out almost made her want to have a giggle fit now that the strangeness of it had worn off. "Well... I never really knew a lot about my mom's side of the family, I realized, so I was looking into it the past couple of days. And, well... basically what I found out boils down to is that Charity and I happen to be second cousins." >> Snork. "So now we really are all related via the kids." She put a paw to her muzzle to keep from laughing. It wasn't really that funny, it just struck her as hilarious... considering everything that happened previously.

Terasu raised up somewhat as Atae fidgeted. But...it wasn't a nervous fidget. Just one urged by a secret one can't wait to tell. The male smirked as he waited, at a lose as to why Atae was bringing up her mother. He was going to question it, but his tongue fell heavy at her last words. Blink blink. "Are you...serious?" His tails twisted, as if expecting the joke to wrap up soon. But no, Atae was being honest, despite her laughing at it. Terasu laughed and rolled his eyes. "So that does make you an aunt....in some distant, strange form." His paw moved to poke the femme, a snicker hidden in his voice. "Ohhh, and you two got into a fiiiiight. She totally kicked your butt ya know." Though, it had been an odd encounter all at once.

Atae stuck her tongue out at her "brother". "Yeaaah but I didn't know how to fight back then." She made a couple of shadowboxing jabs Zell had taught her at the air between them. "I could probably hold my own now." She wasn't about to say she could win... she'd never been in an actual fight since she started her training, and Charity had her rather bizarre genetics on her side. Not that Atae's genetics were any less bizarre if the vague hints she'd picked up about her granddad were true... and what she'd heard about her great-grandmum. Though she and Charity shared that one... Hum.

Well... they were back! And Edward had decided to drop by the HQ after spending some time with Lilianna's family. He padded quietly down the hall, his mismatched steps could be heard if one was really paying attention. Hearing some familiar voices from a nearby room though, the teen peeked in before standing in the doorway with a huge grin on his face.
"Heeeey! I'm back!" he crowed, before trotting into the room to join Terasu and Atae. "So what's up? Did anything happen while I was gone?"

Terasu just grinned at the shadow punches, remembering her mentioning a training she had undergone. "We'll have to see that someday." At least then he'd know her fighting technique compared to his own. Terasu flinched at a familiar voice, cursing in his mind while turning his head. Yep, it was Ed.
"Well look who's back. And in one piece too." The purple "sibling" stood and flicked the side of Edward's head with a chuckle. "So, how was the trip?" Might as well keep the conversation as cool as can be. He knew the updates would bring on something....not too pleasant. At least that's what the male and female expected.

Oh no! How could she have left it! Liliana apparated into headquarters, into her potions classroom and gave a huge sigh of relief that the professor was not there. Please let him not have seen I forgot it! Please!
Spotting the papers on the edge of her desk the winged femme grabbed them and stuffed them into her bag with another huge sigh of relief. At least they were still there. Even if she was berated for having left them, Severus would know she had come back for them when he arrived for class in the morning. Feeling much better, she turned to walk from the room. Juice sounded good, before she headed home.
A sniff. Yes... that was certainly Edward's scent. The crimson furred female certainly knew his scent by now. More than ever. Her tails started to wag. And voices. His, and another's she thought she should know but could not quite place. She wiggled happily. It didn't matter that she had just seen him, more time was always good. No... she did not have to hang on his coattails. But... -Liliana blushed inwardly at the thought- she liked to.
Lightly folding her wings to her back, Liliana trotted down the hall and into the room after Edward. "Terasu! So yours was the other voice I heard! And Atae! Zell missed you this morning." Her grin was warm, almost Hemi-like in its sweet & honest friendliness. "Thanks so much for helping find Aunt Miaka's egg."
That of course had her glancing sideways at her teen-mate, cheeks warming remembering things they had said, and very glad her fur was already red and dark enough to hide what would have otherwise been a tell-tale blush. "I left tonight's homework in the classroom, Edward." She explained, ducking her head sheepishly. "Guess I'm not quite back in the school habit yet."

Well... When it rains it pours, doesn't it? Here was Lily along with Ed... "Oh... a few things... You know about what's been up with me though. Training and the egg hunt and stuff... Oh, Bryna's grown. And she's taller than me." ._. Atae wasn't sure why she'd been hoping Bryna would be small like her... maybe because they'd developed a close, if rather bizarre, friendship. "She's lanky though."
She had a feeling Lily wouldn't mind finding out about Atae's mother's side of the family... it was the whole being indirectly related to Envy thing that was the weirdest part. She still didn't like Envy, though she didn't really hate him, either. And how were they supposed to tell him about Terasu and Charity? Oy... "Did you guys have fun?" She fell on Terasu's tactic, deciding that for a little while they'd talk about them and put it off.

Edward glanced behind him as Lilianna showed up, flashing her a quick smile and shrugging at her explanation. He never minded her presence, so if she felt she needed an explanation.. she really didn't. Although Ed looked a little crestfallen at the mention of Bryna growing and eing taller than Atae. You think he'd be use to it, but everyone was always growing up and getting taller than him. Ed shook it off and grinned once more, "I guess I should pay Bryna a visit, and it was great. We saw a lot of things, although we won't be seeing Setsumi and Ronan for awhile." A glance was given in Terasu's direction at that, knowing that Terasu already knew.

A smell hit Terasu's nose, and it was only when he saw Lily did he match face with scent. "Lily! It's good to see you again." That had been since...forever, considering Lily had a unique way of viewing friends. Sure, Terasu had never out right called them such, but he still easily considered them so. He glanced towards Atae, curious to hear the story of the missing egg another time. Eyes turned back to Ed as he spoke of the trip. "Well, whatever works best." But at the rate things had been going, he'd probably have to track them with his nose soon enough. It'd be more awkward the longer he held back.
"And, um, there have been more eggs around too." But he paused and pointed a finger to Ed. "You'd better hold your cool about this!"

It had not been so much that she felt she must explain her presense... more that in her embarrassment at having done something so foolish Liliana felt the need to tell someone, and of course Edward would be her first choice to share with. Probably followed by her father and baby brother or Romulus.
Her green eyes bore a soft sadness that Setsumi and Ronan had chosen to stay away from the Realm but at the same time she could understand while she was accepting of their choice.
But she blinked at Terasu as he pointed his paw at her teen-mate. Why would Edward have to hold his cool? Liliana glanced at the alchemist and stepped closer so that their bodies brushed. If Ed's 'brother' was worried about him losing his temper... perhaps, well she could at least hope her presense and touch might have a soothing effect on him. "The summer's been a big one for eggs. Aunt Ginny's hatched, & her daughter Cedrella goes around with one on Sondreas & Mami's eggs when she can get it away from Mami. Of course Miaka's eggs..." A small smile to Atae again. That experience had her family beside themselves. "And now... two of my sisters have eggs as well. I guess well... it's been pretty romantic, huh?"
Now her thoughts were on kits again. Hers and Edwards... someday. Cheeks burning she ducked her head beneath the alchemist's chin. Seemed like her father she could ramble a bit. "But, um, whose eggs do you speak of, Terasu?"
(('camping' with no lappy of my own. I'll try to get on when I can borrow Timex's mother's, but don't feel you have to wait for my post... I'll get one in when I can.*hugs*))

Atae shared a glance with Terasu and came up to sit shoulder to shoulder with him, sighing sofly. "Well... Ed... you're an uncle, and I'm an aunt... of sorts. Terasu has kids now. Four of them." An akward pause followed by another sidelong glance at Terasu. "Do you want to tell them who the mom is or should I?"
And the other thing... Should she start on that too? No... probably ought to wait until they finished dumping the rest of the news on them. Oy...
