Ok, previously we had one of these, but it was for crew only. However, we're changing that, because everyone should have some say right?

So anyway post,l ideas, suggestions, critisisms (if you want to get mauled by chipmunks), and whatever else.

I was thinking something along the lines of an activity thread, to post where and when we would be going places so we don't get questions like "Where's so and so? They didn't say ANYTHING!!" or like that.

We need to get ahold of people who haven't been around alot. Some Crew members are even inactive...but you guys knew that.

Didn't we have an activity thred once apon a time?

Anyway.

The main thing we need is to boost activity, whether it be through new recruits or the resurrection of old ones. I have a few ideas for this:

The PM cleaning discussed in the OOC Chat wouldn't be so hard. All we need is a copy and paste message, like... "This is a friendly warning from the Literate Role Player's Association: we have begun to clean out inactive users and have noticed (or rather, not noticed) your lack of activity. You applied for this guild to roleplay and to chat with fellow roleplayers; if you would like to do so, we suggest posting on the "Roll Call" thread before (date) to avoid a ban. If you don't, then there's a handy "Quit Guild" button that we suggest you employ... (Et cetera.)"

Of course, you might want to end it on a more positive note, but whatever.

We could also hold an event. If nobody thinks that I'd run off with the tickets, I'd be willing to organise a drive (whoever donates tickets gets a chance to win a prize bought by them; the more donated, the better the prize). Or, I have an idea for an elimination prize game thingie. Hard to explain, but yeah. >.o;

To get new members, we could start a freeform RP in its name in Barton Town and a recruitment thread for it in Barton Town OOC. That's how I found the guild, through an RP.

Anyway, this is just basic stuff. But there's nothing wrong with a little initiative. x3

Oh. And I think that the stickies could be looked over, and perhaps condensed or reorganised. x_x;

If we get more people, we might want to put the "Tag your RPs" thing back in effect. I think that urban Arcaina has the tags on it still. Thats what I'm talking about. No application required, application required, all that stuff

Shazz, I like the idea for making a freeform Rp. That sounds excellent. It'll certainly get more people who will actually be ACTIVE.

Mass PM's would be difficult, but managable. We should also create a new Roll Call thread for people who pop in and out but don't actually post in any active Rp's. I think that's a good idea, actually.

Stickies do need to be condensed. Some of them can be deleted as well.

We used to have a contest thread that Blue started where you had to write a poem or a short prose sample. I think we should take that idea and make it so that there's a new contest every month or something. The funds for it could come out of the guild's account (LRPAcrewmembers).

I was also thinking of making a 'who's gone on vacation' type thing. It's a good idea so that people don't forget to post that they're leaving and get banned for inactivity or something.

We used to have that literate freeform RP and it worked well. I think we recruited you through that RP, Karle, and quite a few other people.

I love that PM message. It get's very sarcastic near the end. I love it. But yes, I agree. It would be very simple to just give each crew member a certain number of usernames, and they send those specific people the PM, check to see who of there group posted, and delete the others.

I would trust you to not run off with tickets, so if you'd like to organise something I'll support it.

Elimination?? Sounds very much like a reality show.

Stickies need some serious attention. I don't like them at all. I think we need to organise the guild much better. Choose a colour scheme kind of thing (for the front page (including a banner), use a specific colour font for announcements all that jazz).

Leox - They were useful, but I often found that those tags made everything look very unorganized. It's the same as when you have an unfinished tag and a giant is in the middle of your post.

I think everyone agree's that we need another Roll Call thread.

Also, maybe for any RP's that any of us DO start in barton and such, we could put a link to the LRPA in it and have a little quirk or comment saying something like..

"Brought to a viewer near you by the LRPA" ^^ We could get 'creative' ninja

All right. I'll take suggestions for prizes for the elimination thing... I really don't know where else to explain the rules. Maybe I'll set up a preliminary thread.

I'm not sure if I'd be able to help out much with the freeform RP, but the PMs wouldn't take too much time. If I have a couple minutes, I'll see if I can maybe get a list of people, unless someone wants to do that first...

For now, I must go do the dishes. o_o

*EVERY TIME I EDIT IT ADDS MORE APOSTROPHES. Grr.

As far as I can tell we have 3 active mods. So either the mods take a page each..(although the 3 page is smaller), or we get us some more mods, and split up the pages.

But for now I am going to make a Roll Call thread.

I beg to differ, actually. I found that those tags made things very efficient, so long as you knew what they meant. That was probably the biggest problem and why I don't use them in the creation of my roleplays (even though they die within days).

So yeah. Maybe if we made a thread just for the roleplay tag breakdown, stickied/announced it and locked it, it'd be easier for people to use them to make sure people knew what was required.

Val - It's a good idea (the sticky). And it would be a good way to keep the RP's categorised.

Oh and does anyone mind if I delete the announcement about Updating the Guild (because Temra was basically the head of that, and we can make a new one when the time comes). And what about the competition one...Is anyone participating in that? Is it actually going to happen?

I deleted those 2 threads. They can be replaced once upon a time if we need them again. I also locked the LRPA Info and FAQ, just because it isn't really a place people should post in, unless it is a post to add to the FAQ/Info. So if you want to add something just remember to unlock it ^-^
