we haven't had a new thread recently and i thought it was about time for one!
this thread is about random buys you've made. like buying a new cd, dvd or a book that you just bought on a complete whim. was it any good? or was it the worse thing you've ever read/heard/saw? recommend and tell us what to stay away from!

Alfred. I like the randomness towards that name.
YAYY a new thread! I've been meaning to make a new thread but I really don't know what to make one for. I need to randomly brain storm.
I am planning to buy a drawing manikin. I asked my mom whether it was worth it or not and she said it was fine so I can get one maybe tomorrow if they have them in stock. I hope they do!! Its really confusing. They have some that's the size of a long ruler..so 30 cm. But they divide it into two separate types. Male/female. Then again are separated into flexible/plain. Soo...its 15 bucks for the flexible one. And the males have more sizes. There's an 8 inch and 5 inch I think. But those are too small. Maybe. But anyways yeah. They even have some for dogs and cats. And horses too! But the horse one is 160 bucks. I bet it looks kick a**. That's the end of my blab...for now.

I have bought anything yet...but I would like suggestions Waldens is having their 5/4 mangas as you may or may not know...I need to redeem myself since Death Note was so disappointing.

i thought the same thing about needing a new thread eto. thats why i made this one! hopefully it'll be nice and not come a place to talk.
umm back in the day i randomly bought the placebo cd cause i adored (and still adore) 'every you every me.' the cd ended up sucking so badly but that song. i was really disappointed. i still own it though @_@

I still remember how I bought the CD that had the theme song of CCS American version. The cover makes me shiver. Such a hag. A hag in a totally fake kimono-like thing.

I was obsessed with CCS since it was on tv and I talked about it with my cousins and I liked the opening song..wait that was a random chant but I liked it too. Thought it was cool. Actually, no. I only liked the beginning chant. Then when they said Card captors blah blah, I tuned it out. So, I meant the ending song. It was upbeat. I didn't listen to much music back then and I was like 9. So yeah.

hehehe i saw the card captors dub once and i was like 'aaahhh!!' and never watched it again. i didnt even make it through an entire episode. i mourned that dub. but i have the sub on dvd so its ok.

I never really watched the Jap versions except for the movies. They only dubbed one and I guess CCS was getting old so they didn't bother with the others. I think they have 3 movies...or maybe just two. One that's in Hong kong. One about the random card that was in that kid with glasses with Supi house. Maybe only 2 then. I liked the second movie.
