Ryu stepped out into the garden like courtyard. Fearsome a warlord though he was, he still had an appreciation for things of serine beauty. He quietly strolled through his garden, stopping only for a moment to gaze at the Koi in there large pond, lazily swimming about. It's been years since he's united these lands under his rule, centuries actually, and while the calm from all the waring was welcome, he still had the heart of warrior and longed for a challenge to his power.

Ryu looked up suddenly to the dragon that was flying over head. A smile crossed his face, he couldn't help but think perhapes the gods had answered his unspoken prayer and offered him a challenge. He rose into the air, and after a certain distance from his castle, he changed into his true form of a great winding oriental dragon. So, what brings you to my realm, have the peasents grown so weary of my rule that they hired a dragon to face me? He asked with a such mirth that the very remark he made seemed to amuse him.

Ryu gave a toothy grin and flew up higher still, storm clouds gathered over head. Well you are cooling off in my realm, and if your ill temper ends up damaging my property, I'm afraid I'll have to exact a toll from you for that exersion of temper. He spoke with gleeful, ominus malace.

Ryu closed his eyes as he was buffeted by the wave of energy, and smiled. She was proving amusing. He looked to her and said "depends on how much damage you do, enslavement at the least, your blood at the worst." The storm clouds over head where now crackling with thunder and lightning, a sure sign he ment to keep his word about either punishment.

Ryu chuckled at this "very well, I should introduce myself." He suddenly gave a roar that was like thunder, only with force when it hit her. "You face Ryu Kage, lord of these lands. And magic is but another tool or weapon, depending on it's use." He then lashed out with his tail like a whip, moving so fast even the air seemed to be cut.

Ryu began to gather the power of the storm to himself, readying for a strike when he caught the scent of something strange. His nostrils flared a few times, then he looked to her with a scowl. "Leave my lands now foolish child. I normally don't back down from a fight, but when one is so reckless as to bring an innocent into the frey, I tend to ignore them for their own good. Why don't you go and bother that little cat Kumouri or something." He then turns and begins to wind his way back to his castle.

A barrier of lightning caught the shot and destroyed it before it came close to him. He slowly turned his attention to her, a smile on his huge face. "he is one of many lords of these lands, the forest which borders my valley and montains is his territory. It is with Him and a few others that I share an agreement not to venture into eachother's lands without good reason." He takes another good whiff of her and his smile faded some. "And it would seem you are his mate, thus I'm bound by the contract not to harm you so long as you heed my warning and return to your precious kumouri now, otherwise I can see your aggression as an act of war on his part, thus I will be permitted to claim his territory. Now go before you cause more trouble and break the agreement for your master and risk his death and the enslavement of you and any other servents he owns." He once more began to wind his way back to his castle, in disappointment. He'd wanted a fight, but He was bound by a contract that allowed foolish servents enough warning to return to their masters.
