Nabu'na padded along almost silently though his larger paws made somewhat as a drum beat as he wove his way through the underbrush, Derrob, the gray gamma close behind him, almost at his side. Both were searching, along with Dinili and Phaelin, who followed both males with ease, both staying quiet, following their alpha, and friend as they went on.
They were searching for the mark...and hope.
Nabu'na knew that the black hellish female would be looking fr them, the mark, and then soon the valley, they had to act quickly, or they would surely fail, he made a promise to not fail at his task.
Though he needed more to fly to his side if he was to succeed.

No, no no! This is all wrong! Zeke thought to himself with a quiet growl. He knew there was a way somewhere, but this certainly wasn't the way for the male to go. He was in search of water- any water, but had found none. He was getting extremely thirsty... The male let out a soft growl again.
It had been a long time since Zeke had been with humans. When he was just a pup, some local tribe took him in, but he rather disliked the clingyness they had with him. Never did they just let him sit and chew his stick in peace.
Those days were past, though; those days were history, and he was glad. He loved the freedom he felt, but didn't like the lack of individuals to dominate. Zeke didn't feel right until he was in a pack situation. One with a set structure, where every wolf knew his place.
Today, though, Zeke wasn't meandering quietly, but snapping twigs and rustling leaves. His confidence was too great to care about such little details. It wasn't until he picked up the scent of another wolf on the wind that he slowed... He hadn't smelled a boundary at all- how could he possibly be intruding? He stood strongly, raised his tail and hackles, and barked, "Who's there?" It was loud enough to be heard from anywhere- he was sure that, unless there was a sickly omega lurking about, they would show themselves.

Nabu'na heard the voice first, stopped in his movements and Dinili and Phaelin froze in place, Phaelin had one paw off of the ground as if frozen by ice in place. "Derrob," he stated deeply in tone, turning ever to slightly to see his brown pelted friend, "Stay with Din and Phae, alright?" Derrob nodded without another sound, turned and started padding away, Din and Phae following as if to give Nabu'na enough space in case things turned for the worst.
Which all hoped would not happen.
"Nabu'na," he said louder, answering the voice who had called ut, stepping towards the voice he was wary, white fur from the line of white down his back falling into his view.

Zeke's ears perked up at the voice- a strong voice. While Zeke rather enjoyed being the top dog, he knew when it was smart to back down. When his eyes caught sight of the larger wolf, Zeke's disposition changed entirely. Someone strong, he would listen to. He still, though, didn't completely show submission. His tail was kept at an angle slightly above verticle. He kept it at a slow wag. He knew better than just to trust a stranger straight off the bat, but he also knew to make it clear that he was not a threat.
"Nabu'na..." He thought, looking skyward as he pondered. "That is a new name. Are these your lands? I'll leave as quickly as my paws will carry me if I'm not welcome," he said. He knew that some packs were rather violent to strangers- he would be a little if he was an alpha, unless whoever it was showed they weren't weak. He rather hoped, though, that if this was indeed the leader of a pack that he would be able to join their ranks. He was confident in his abilities to prove himself, if need be.
