I live in Bothell, which is just south of Everett. I typically only play regular warcraft 3 frozen throne, or DOTA, but I prefer melee.

Armored Core's controls may be hard to get used to for beginners, but they grow on you. AC: Nexus and onward have an even better control layout that utilizes both analogue.
Nothing wrong with the graphics, assuming you're playing on PS2. PS1 graphics are a bit harsh and hard to play with because of the low frames per second. PS2 has great FPS. I also think the graphics look just fine, but that's opinion I guess. Try Armored Core 4 for pretty graphics.
Camera has never been an issue for me except trying to look straight up or down, but that situation hardly ever occurs, and when it does, if you're good at the game you simply get more distances along the x axis from your opponent.
Well finally, you'd play it because it's fun. People keep buying them and Agetech/Software apparently makes enough money to keep making more Armored Core games.
