Since I haven't seen this particular question in this guild, I am going to post it and look at everyone's answers:
What do you like about dragons that make you love them so much?
Well, I like the fact that dragons are mystical creatures; they can do things that surpass natural abilities, and I also think that because dragons are supposedly unreal(how can they say that?!), they can do different things only you can imagine.
What do you think?

I like dragons because they're dragons. That's all there is to it. And I think that dragons that know how to spellcraft can do just about anything that they imagine.

My interest in dragons began in Middle School when D&D was introduced to me. At the time my parents forbade me to play D&D so I played Traveller RP instead. I was drawn into the world of mystical and fantasy creatures and never really came back out. I guess as an adult, what still continues to draw me to dragons is their wisdom, sense of humor, intelligence and loyalty. Certainly they are misunderstood and I can relate to that too, the matters of Western and Eastern dragons and the mythologies that surround them. I sway more to the Eastern and find that their more ancient stories make me truly wonder what creatures were around when the stories were told. Maybe, just maybe there were dragons back then, that taught humans how to behave and protected them from harm when respected and admired.

they have a certain grace that i can't quite describe. i'm interested in them for a wide varitey of reasons, the biggest one being that they are mysterious to me, just like the depths of the ocean. when you look at the ocean from above all you see is water, but below, there is a treasure trove of discoveries and knowledge. it is the same with dragons, most people see a wild monster that ravenged the land, but i see something else.

Yeah, my parents said I couldn't play D&D either, and I said"Why not? There are dragons in it for crying out loud!", and then I got sent to my room so I have yet to play it because my mother threatened to take away my computer and I love my computer...to a fault sweatdrop
Oh, and about what you said when it comes to dragons teaching humans right and wrong, I wish they'd have stuck around out in the open to make sure we didn't stray from the right path. I love all dragons as long as they don't try to eat me. 3nodding

My mom bought me the basic D&D set, but I haven't played it much. I don't have to many people to play WITH since I also love my computer to a fault.

Well I can say that i like dragons because they are mythical creatures yet they could actually be real, and look at all the books that point it. Also because they are magical, can fly and that kind of stuff and don't tell me that you never was enchanted by a mythical being. Aside from the normal things I like the fact that they seem graceful in flight, so basically they are AWESOME!! 3nodding
