Deep blue fur swished about the twisting branches that reached out to stroke it. Large white paws just waltzed right over the underbrush as the blue ears flickered about. Red lightening shaped markings sprayed out from around the male's eyes.
The deep blue depths glanced out and looked at the area that had currently incircled the alpha's frame. No trails of any territoral markings was being found with the dark nose. Though unclaimed it seemed the land was full of plenty of game for possible future meals.
Head brought up higher with the verdict, could this actually be a place where he could settle his family done? Oh, the large male figured his family would be happy to stop the constant moving around and actually be able to layout stable lands. The large male's heart was already soaring with possibilities. That was when his ears caught the sound of his blue hued sister's paw steps.

Following Crunch was something that was required of the close family pack. Though close the siblings were still proned to fight and argue, but blood was what drove the four kindred all over the lands of Telk.
Softer blue eyes spied out from the broken area where Crunch had marched through. The elder brother had left the temporary den in search of the next place to move. When would the wandering stop? Gracia prayed that it would end before they found out their lost sister was dead. No one knew if Hershey had survived.
The Baby Ruth logo just curled with each step that the female took, she was the smallest of her known siblings, but had one of the largest hearts in the group. Also she was the reasoning for Crunch's short fuse. How many times had the female stepped between her bully brother and an innocent?
Too many, that was the best answer. The light danced on the blue coat before her a few yards off, the big blocked letters spelling out the alpha's name sake was proudly displayed. Gracia lowered her head in respect to her brother, already knowing that he wasn't going to be happy with her following him.

Slowly the female moved through the forest her blue eyes a sharp contrast to the vegetation around her. Granted pink and white as her coat was she was an interesting contrast to most of natures other beauties. She felt a heaviness on her that she had never experienced as a lonely wanderer, with a whole new pack to think of things weren't the same. She felt alone since she had only the alpha and pups to look to for company and for a pup she could care for, but who was she to become friends with? She sighed quietly before her ears perked and she turned curiously, was it her imagination or had she heard footsteps?
Libenalas pushed forward a few paces before catching a flash of blue ahead, she wasn't certain what kind of company it was but as always company of any kind she tended to welcome.
"Hello?" she called out in her usual lilting tone trying to sound friendly as possible.

Ears fluttered and then flattened, new footsteps came into his ears. They were to delicate to be a male's, but Crunch knew better then to believe that females were harmless. Locked tight eyes pierced through the green land.
He let out a low throaty growl, it was his warning to anyone that he didn't know. The growl bounced off of the trees, was strangers to be expected in this area of the forest? Maybe right now, but not if he liked it and claimed it for his family pack, Versailles pack. That was when Gracia bursted through the trees.
Gracia heard Crunch's warning growl and fear raced through her. If some innocent wolf had came into his sight, oh let the spirits protect them for now.
"Crunch, NO!" she growled flying through the trees. She felt bad for the potential wolf, oh the pack needed friends that she hadn't been able to get that through her brother's head. Though she was just an omega in the little group of four.
Positioning herself between the voice and her brother, Gracia shot her brother one glare and then called out. "Hello and sorry for any miscommunication," her soft voice trailed through the trees, a bush moved and a flash of pink.

Libenalas froze startled by the growl that answered her friendly greeting. She cleared her throat and waited a moment before her ears perked to the friendlier voice. She headed closer the shapes coming into focus and her whole body went tense.
Had she stumbled across yet another alpha? She could have sworn this land was unclaimed. She seemed to be finding nothing but alphas as of late and this was seemed to have his pack? mate? with him. She decided to be extra careful especially since the original greeting hadn't given her reason to be optimistic of friendship.
"Hello? Sorry...I didn't mean to intrude or anything..."
She slunk out and looked at the two blue hued wolves with a mixture of curiosity and warriness.

Crunch's tense eyes glared at his younger sister, who did she think she was? Growling at him! Oh this wasn't going to be a good day for the Baby Ruth wolfess. Blue ears still pinned down to the male's lush blue skull.
Shifting the domiant glare from the back of his litter mate's skull the deep ocean eyes looked at the pink and white female walking forward. The sign of caution was the first thing his perceptive eyes caught, but her bewildered look was something that made his high head tilt abit.
"Never seen two blue wolves before?" the words were harshly stated, but Crunch never meant anything by them. Words were actually a good thing with his more offensive approaches. To this large blue male, everything was an enemy until prove otherwise. Though no one besides his family would know this fact, and this was the reason why Gracia always trailed in his shadow.
Softer blue eyes closed shut in mental repulsion. How did Crunch plan on ever meeting a female that would willing be his mate? Force her into it? That would probably be the way of everything if she didn't follow the brutal bully that was her overbearing alpha brother.
Once the blue lids came back from over her soft eyes, Gracia looked at the friendly soft pink and oddly white female. Oddly? The blue head shook once, her family of all wolves couldn't talk about another's coat. They all had logos that Crunch actually could read, it still always shocked her and their other two sibling wolves.
Taking a soft and small step forward, Gracia lowered her head in the position of her omega ranking. "I'm sorry, ignore my rude brother, we are but two of our wandering pack. Though, he is the alpha, he is still trying to learn how to talk to others outside of our family." The Baby Ruth wolfess just talked in a tone that most would associate with that of a tender mother, or a wolf that would be a perfect negotiator for anything.
"My name is Gracia," with a tilt of her head, one of her ears pointed at the proud and tense wolf behind her, "and he is Crunch. Would you be so kind to share with, atleast me, your name?"

Libenalas pushed forward and sat down gently tipping her head at the alpha she had done nothing wrong and so had nothing to fear. Granted the warning growl should have told her otherwise but she liked to think of the best in everyone, even grumpy blue alphas.
"Well I've never seen such a unique coat..." she eyes the logos splashed across their sides. "But it would take something hot pink to startle me" she laughed.
Her attention turned from Crunch to Gracia and she moved a bit closer to the omega. An omega wandering around with an alpha that had to be hard, but being siblings perhaps made things easier. She nodded at Gracia's first comment and found herself liking the blue and white female immensely hopefully her brother wouldn't object to a friendship.
"It's fine I was just worried I had stumbled into your territory...I'm new to pack life myself...Oh forgive me how rude, my name is Libenalas, you can call me Alas though everyone does."

Crunch looked at Gracia, how dare she talk about him like that! Most said things behind his back, but never before his fangs. His deep eyes just glared at his sister. There would be consequences later and she knew it.
Hearing the pink female's comment Crunch just raised a slight red lightning brow to her. If he had met this femme on his own, she would probably just be standing there talking to herself. Nonsense just wasn't what the blue and white male wanted to deal with at the moment.
However, the proud male nodded his head, "Our coats are rather unique, but that is a good thing. We are looking for a lost sibling as well as new unclaimed territory." Why he was sharing this information, the deep blue male had no idea. No matter how clueless he was on his own actions, Crunch wasn't about to walk away without Gracia shadowing him.
With the though of shadows though, his mind went back to the temporary den that his brother and other sister were sleeping in. With head held up and looking around, surveying the area. His head cocked to the side when Alas spoke her name and enlightened Gracia with the new pack life she just joined.
"There is another pack? How far is your territory from here?" The words inquiry but they held hidden concern. If it was a large pack, the male didn't want to have to move his brother and sisters again. He didn't care about fighting, but he really didn't want to see either of his sisters hurt. That would just send the male into a blind rage and the spirits wouldn't be able to predict his movement.
Gracia had smiled at the words that were spoken about the logo coats. "Our mother was rather plain deep dark brown color as for our father, we never knew of him. Though with the way our family coating is, he had to be a unique looking wolf as well." Unlike Crunch, Gracia liked to share background history even if it wasn't relevant to the meeting.
"I haven't seen such a colored coat as yours following my brother around Telk. Your family must be just as unique as ours," she gave a soft smile, not caring about the look that was sending a chill up her spine from her brother.
"Libenalas, such a beautiful name, I hope the pack you just joined is treating you well," Gracia paused at the words. Yes, Crunch was strict and didn't like being made to look a fool before others, but he was a decent wolf underneath. He was brutal, yes, but the blue alpha was a big hearted brutal bully.
"As for territory," Her words were cut off by the sudden unexpected questioning from Crunch. What was he worried about? Oh, that mixed tone made sense, he was worried about the well being of his family.

Libenalas tilted her head at Crunch's words he seemed to have his eyes on everything she was surprised he had lost his sister, he didn't seem the type to loose track of anything. She wondered just how many siblings were in this family. Family, the word stung her she had none to call her own all she had was a bond to her brand new small pack. She looked at Gracia and Crunch and answered honestly, after all it would take a pretty heartless pack to attack a bunch of puppies.
"Well, to be honest the pack is sort of...small it's just me and my alpha, and some pups...thats why I joined I was concerned that the pups wouldn't be raised with all the attention they deserve." she nodded. "Were a bit aways from here out on the cliffs, I was just wandering..."
She smiled at Gracia and sat back hiding the pain in her voice by speaking once again in the lilting sing song tone she was used to using. "I wouldn't know I havent got any family...never met anyone as...pink" she smiled.

Seeing the tilt of Alas's head, Crunch couldn't help but ponder about his words. Search for lost sibling, duh. "Are sister was lost while we were young, I'm the only one that actually wants to search for her," this matter-of-the-fact statement was true. His other siblings believed she died weeks after being abandoned by their mother.
Feeling as if he had really opened his mouth too much, the big male made a show to turn around. "Gracia, I'm going to take a stroll around this land." The blue ears flickered with the resounding words about a small pack as well in the distance. "Will you listen for any sound from the others, just encase I don't hear them?"
Gracia's ears welted at the words coming for Alas, never knowing your family. She wondered if Hershey felt the same way, that is if she was still alive. "I'm sorry to hear that," was all her soft voice could muster.
The blue tail dipped as well once Crunch spoke to her directly. Then expectantly her tail twitched to life, he was going to let her stay and talk to someone outside of the family. Maybe she had rubbed off on her over bearing big brother just a little.
"Yes sir, I can call for you if I hear their howls," was her immediate reply as her eyes shifted quickly to Crunch. Then she looked back at Alas, maybe they could be friends now. Not just one time greeting and then never cross paths again, but actual friends. She had said her pack resided in the cliffs, that wasn't awfully far away. Though Gracia knew Crunch wouldn't allow too many visitors until he was ready to start gaining forces.

Alas looked at Crunch for a moment before smirking, he was all heart under that hard exterior. She thought it was very sweet of him to care so much for a family member. She turned with him and looked at him directly, she had no reason to treat him like her alpha.
"What does she look like? Incase I ever come across her?"
She threw Gracia a smile, it was nice to know the she wolf wasn't always around her brother maybe they could become good friends especially if she stayed in the area, it would be nice to have a friend not just a packmate. Her tail swayed to and fro in bliss at the thought of having a more social life then her lonely wanderings across Telk.

Crunch had already padded off silently to look around. The topic about their lost sister always had him flustered. Oh, she felt sorry for him when it came to the lost of Hershey, but there was nothing that could be done.
Looking towards the good natured wolfess before her, Gracia's icy blue eyes warmed. "Our sister has a deep brown coat, from what we interpreted from our mother's rambling, and she has seven bold character on her sides as well. That is all our mother was able to tell us, though Crunch is the only one that knows how to read our odd marks." That was all that she knew how to describe someone she had never actually laid eyes on.
With a more distinct look, Gracia looked at Alas. "It would be nice to actually settle down and be able to make friends. If we could meet other friendly wolves, Crunch could switch up his view on everyone." Or this was her silent daily prayer.

Libenalas sat beside Gracia and nodded committing the image to memory, a brown female with markings on her side like Crunch and Gracia. She was sure if she ever came across such a wolf she would be able to tell, they seemed pretty unique. She turned her attention back to the friendly female and smiled.
"It would be nice to have a friend..." she glanced at the direction Crunch had gone off in and looked back at Gracia. "Is he always like that? Or is it just because he's looking for territory?" She hoped it was the latter since making friends while Crunch growled and hovered would probably be a bit more difficult, though it didn't seem to make Gracia very nervous. Alas had felt worried enough in that moment hearing a growl instead of an open greeting, but then again Crunch wasn't her sibling. She felt another slight pang at not having known any family, she couldn't even remember her own parents. She shook off the pitiful thoughts and instead focused on what she did have, her new pack, and perhaps a blossoming friendship with Gracia, or so she hoped.

Gracia tilted her head at Alas, this pink she-wolf seemed to store the information presented. A smile came up to the blue hued maw, "Yes, it would, being nomadic makes it hard to befriend others," a wavering smile was presented upon the Baby Ruth maw.
Looking throw the forest, following the trail that Crunch had disappeared into, Gracia shrugged a bit. "Crunch has had good days in the past, but history has turned his views on others. When we were growing young adults, life just wasn't easy for us. Our mother ran off with another male and Crunch stepped up to keep us all alive, he didn't even know how to properly hunt at first in our young teenage years. However that changed quickly and he was bringing us deer at night."
A smile replaced her memory frown, "But besides the low growl earlier, I think Crunch wasn't obviously bothered by your presence. He hardly ever backs down so quickly," or maybe I was just quicker then normal, the white and blue wolfess added silently.

Libenalas slowly moved to lay down beside Gracia relaxed now that the intimidating alpha male was gone. She streached her white lace marked paws infront of her and rested her muzzle on them looking up at Gracia with calm inquisitve blue eyes.
"It's understandable...Can you tell me what it was like? I mean with just siblings? What made you all such nomadic loners, surely at such a young age a pack would have taken you in?"
Alas was full of questions eager to learn the ways of friends, families, and packs to do better in her own. She wanted to teach pups various ways to live life and prevent the loneliness that had haunted her from coming to others. She felt a soft warmth being able to speak with Gracia friend to friend with non status between them.

When Libernalas laid down beside her, Gracia just smiled. However, the man reasoning she was an omega, when put on the spot to answer various questions, she froze. It was something that just had been part of her personality since she could remember.
Nomadic travelers they were, but why did they avoid packs? Oh, that one was simple, "Well, growing up with just us four, we really didn't see the point in joining a larger group right away. Plus, Crunch didn't want to join the lower ranks of the only ruthless pack that was in our home territory."
The memory of the larger group made a shiver run down the length of Gracia's blue and white spine. "Just the same as he didn't want Twix or I to suffer at the paws of the alpha male of the pack. Females were not treated at all with respect, they were treated like slaves."
Light blue eyes moved to look up at the tree tops and then back down to the soft pink and white wolfess beside her. "We were well off though. As a family group we became pretty good at hunting like ambushers and we never killed more then what we needed to survive. Crunch would always drag off the wastes of the meal to keep others away from our temporary dens. Now that we all are adults, Crunch knows that, just like him, we too would like mates and 'allies' as he calls friends." A soft smile came up to the blue hued maw at this last bit of information.
