Official CNN PageCNN did a three-part series on religious fundamentalism called "God's Warriors." The first night was "God's Jewish Warriors", the second "God's Muslim Warriors" and the third "God's Christian Warriors." You can probably guess which one is most relevant to us by now. I watched "God's Christian Warriors" last night, and they had a lot of freaking creepy stuff about Christian fundamentalism in the United States. Did you know that Jerry Falwell's school has a room designed to look exactly like the Supreme Court to teach lawyers how to fight for conservative causes, like reversing Roe v. Wade? The show focused on the right-wing attack on abortion rights a lot. Basically, Roe was described as the event that set off the conservative tide. It's replaying on CNN at some time this Saturday, and I highly recommend it. Just be prepared to yell at the TV a lot and maybe cry.

I wanna watch. I like seeing people with a persecution complex as big as their ego's. Too bad my room isn't sound proof for the screaming part.

Did anyone else see the part with the teenage girl whose father suggested aborting her, so now she's on a quest or something to stop abortion? That made we want to hit my head against a wall, repeatedly.

She's pro-choice, though she's more simpathetic to 'lifers than me because they gave her mom baby clothes and supplies when the abortion ******** up and her mom decided not to get another one. Her mom thought it was a sign from God that they missed the fetus and decided to have her even though there were a lot of risks in that situation. She turned out fine, though.

it gave me a headache. Jerry Fallwell's "school" scared me, do they teach liberal arts there, do they give a balanced education or only conservative everything?

Yeah, just because he didn't do it and was glad about it.I mean theres got to be alot of parents who thought about aborting and after they didn'y were happy but didn't go all crazy on the issue.

I could b out on a campaign to stop abstinence because I was concieved out of wedlock and if one of my parents decided to abstain I would've never been concieved. ABSTINENCE IS MURDER!
