This is one of the first things I've wondered about Gackt ever since I found out about him...
But as time went by, I discovered he's a man full of many secrets as you all know.. so I let it slide.
Today of all days, my sudden curiosity sparked again for his real name.
I clicked one of the first results that came up.
This is what I found.
His suspected real name is....
Satoru Okabe.
My question is... then what is the "M" and "S" in Gackt M. S. Camui?

I remember reading that Satoru might be his real name on some Gackt site I went to...and I remember laughing when I read that name only because compared to Gackt Camui...it was kinda funny lol heart heart

@Dismember: yea I kind of thought that too.. i was like Satoru.. compared to Gackt... the Okabe made me look like this though o_O. Satoru when i look at him fits, but the Okabe... haha

I knew his suspected real name was Satoru Okabe ((which I think a beautiful name...aah...Satoru-sama.)), but now that you mention it...I am now curious about the M.S. as well.

Oh.. Satoru, eh? x__x'' I always just thought his name was Gackuto Camui or something.. xD
I never actually thought of looking it up...
Satoru.. It's a bit shocking, but, I think I can live with it. xD He doesn't look that much like one though.. T__T'' Guess I'm just used to 'Gackt'.

I don’t mind if we never know Gackt real name I think he has a rite to keep some of his life private private he will all ways pore his Hear out on his stage for us biggrin

what you say is also true.
but as Gackt fans, i honestly dont feel guilty being curious. there's a fine line where if we step over it, it could be considered harrassment, but what we're doing is just speculation. ^^
i'm glad Gackt keeps his name in secrecy because it makes him even more alluring and mysterious!!
