I tried, as well. May I offer a suggestion? Try getting more basic items - shirts, skirts/pants/shorts, shoes, etc.... The problem that you have is you keep using the same basic things over and over, so your avvie never feels like it is changing. If you have a lot of basic things to choose from, then you can make some new and different each time.
