Ok, I got this from InuYasha's Paradise, courtesey of xo[.Mokona.]
Every character starts out with 20 points. When you post, you take two points from one character, state your reason, give one of the popints to another character, and, again, state your reason. You cannot post twice in a row. When you repost, put the current scores in your post, so we don't have to go back and check posts and count points. All characters on the list are characters who made major contributions to the stories. If you add a character on your post, give a reason why they should be on the post.I'm starting with characters in the first book only.

Edit: Please, try not to use the same thing more than once. I'm not saying you can't, but it defeats the purpose of the game if you use the same reasoning everytime. The point is to try and think of new reasons (it gets fun once people run out of the basics [such as 2 points from Voldemort for killing everybody, a point to Sirius for buying the Firebolt, ect...], because people come up with some really random ideas [such as a point to Hedwig because shes pretty.]) So come on! Be creative!

1 point from DUMBLEDORE to being a crazy old man who uses others as pawns instead of people for the greater good. Hey, you had good intentions, but I still think it was pretty scummy to hide everything behind something else. You keep too many secrets.
1 point to PERCY for being smart enough to return to the right side once the time came, in spite of his pride. It takes guts to humble yourself enough to say 'Hey, you were right' after all those years being a prat. The fact that he came back when it came time to fight, and was clever enough not to get himself killed at the ministry was awesome too. At leat you weren't stupid enough to oppose right away and doom yourself without making up with your family.

er...this is going to take forever this way...In the Doctor who guild, we do -2 and +1 every turn, that way, if some people are intent on taking one character out, it one person wont be able to revive them every time when they are 1 point away from doom...
could we change the rules?

Taking forever is kind of the point.... We can change the rules if enough people ask...
I'm adding and giving a point to Sirius Black for sending Harry the Firebolt for Christmas even though it could have gotten him caught.
I'm taking it from Draco for calling Hermione mudblood, and then laughing when Ron started spewing slugs.

it still takes forever if you subtract two...but it makes it funner because then its more frantic to revive favorite characters...

umm....Super....you just added two points from one character and took one away fron two seperate characters....I'm pretty sure you cant do that....
